Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
May Mayhem takes place in the human roleplay forum. This is so you can join the chaos with your favorite character without it being canon. May Mayhem is all about causing as much mayhem as possible with none of the normal rules of Classic, but how does it differ? [break][break]

- You only have one character[break] - The character has three lives[break] - If your character dies you can replace it with a new character, but your old one can never come back[break] - When you want to attack someone you roll the dice to determine how much damage it does and add that to your reply, while also keeping track of your characters damage[break] - Everyone has ten hearts so if someone rolled a six you’re down to four hearts[break] - When you want to make a thread specifically for this event you just put MM in the title [break][break]

Once purchased, these abilities remain active for the duration of the character's life they were bought for. Once the character loses their last life however, this ability must be re-purchased for your next character.[break][break]
Legendary Defense: 6 damage per attack received (100 points)[break] Ultra Defense: 5 damage per attack received (75 points)[break] Mega Defense: 4 damage per attack received (50 points)[break] Classic Defense: 3 damage per attack received (25 points) [break][break]

Once purchased, these abilities remain active for the duration of the character's life they were bought for. [attr="class,"vplotsubs"]Mayhem :
Once purchased, these abilities are one time use, and then must be re-purchased. However, you keep this ability until it is used. Meaning that if your character dies, and you have not yet used the ability you purchased in this category, your new character may use it. You can only have one of each at a time until used, in which case you can get again.[break][break] Mayhem: Create a disaster that can take out lives without any warning. This ability is an auto-kill, and cannot be stopped even by legendary defense. A character automatically loses 1 of their 3 lives when hit with this ability. You can choose for this to hit everyone or specific people. Roleplayers affected by Mayhem must be present in the thread and in the same territory your character is standing in. (200 points)[break] Soul Orb: If you hold this when you’re about to die your character will die and return with the same amount of lives in tact (150 points)[break] Chaos: This gives you the ability to do one life altering thing to one character without their consent such as stealing, scarring, catch someone, etc. Roleplayer must be present in the thread, but does not need to be in the same territory for this to work. (100 points)[break] Teleport: Teleport anywhere in see a seeable distance (75 points)[break] Invisibility: Turn invisible to spy on others, but you can still be heard breathing and moving (75 points) [break]
This is the human world layout, as you create alliances you may want to take over certain places or banish people to others. When the rp starts out you’ll say which character you want to choose and which location/ side you would like to start out in on a Google form. This way there’s no spying on which of your friends go to which places. You could secretly talk about it, but it’s probably just more fun to see where you end up. After all this is all about the mayhem![break][break]
Kingdom: Plenty of housing, well protected, with clean drinking water, but little food. They tend to like order and control including controlling other people. [break] Town: Well supplied in food with dangerous weather conditions, but they do have a boat that might be possible to restore and get back to the ocean again. They’re very independent [break] Island: A small civilization on an island, well hidden from everyone thanks to the mountains and mist that surround the bridge. They like to keep to stay out of trouble and rely on the sea for food. [break][break]
When making a May Mayhem rp, post it in the Human Form and title it MM. From there you can have your character appear anywhere on the territory and walk wherever you please. Just prepare that there may be consequences for it. You might be more open for someone attacking you or you might find a new ally! [break][break]
[attr="class,"vplotsubs"]Private Threads :
The first six posts are in private, but afterwards anyone can join into the thread. An exception being if you use your Invisibility item, then you can spy on them regardless if it’s private at the start. [break][break]
[attr="class,"vplotsubs"]Rulers :
Rulers are decided by you. You can walk into the Kingdom, Town, or Island and decide that you’re leader and if no one fights you for it then you simply are the ruler of it. But being ruler is more than just a title, it’s also about trying to control the residents of the territory, which will take some more master minding for you to accomplish so be creative! [break][break]
[attr="class,"vplotsubs"]Losing a Life :
When you lose a life you are immune from receiving more attacks for a full in rp world 24 hours. It’s like your character's body goes into hyper regeneration. However you also cannot attack others because you’re too weak.[break][break]
Characters will have amnesia upon entering the island, they won’t remember their past, but they can recognize people in their lives such as family and other relationships. This means they still maintain the same personality, but it’s optional for them to remember their siblings, mate, or past rivalries with someone.[break][break]
[attr="class,"vplotsubs"]Running Away :
If you want to run away from a fight you can do so, but the opposing person or people have the right to land one last attack if they wish, which will decrease your hearts. From there you can choose to get away from the person completely.[break][break]
[attr="class,"vplotsubs"]Regaining Hearts :
For each new thread you participate in you have full health. But you can not regain health in your thread once damaged unless there has been a clear 24 hour day change in rp.[break][break]
[attr="class,"vplotsubs"]Killing a Character :
When attacking a character, multiple users may have their character gang up on another character and attack in quick succession. If the character who is attacked has their HP reduced to zero, the character who gets ‘credit’ for the kill is the one who landed the killing blow (ie, the first attack that reduced the character’s HP to zero, accounting for purchased buffs).[break][break]
[attr="class,"vplotsubs"]Dying Characters :
Once a character has had their HP reduced to zero (accounting for defense buffs), they die. However, every character that is killed is allowed a final attack before they die. This attack can be a normal attack (accounting for attack buffs), OR if the user has purchased a one-time-use ability, they may choose to use it. (Ex, a dying char may use Mayhem if they have it, in an attempt to take out all their attackers at once)[break]
