Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"I know you're in there," she called into the house, her mismatched gaze cold. Her fist pounded on the door again. "So why don't you stop being a baby and face me?"
Her eyes flashed with irritation. In the exactly one day since she woke up on this god foresaken island, rumor had swirled that there was an ugly mug going by the name of Pinesimmer that was causing problems. Even if she could remember nothing else, she would remember her brother. And, if he was causing problems, she knew it was her responsibility to fix it.
"You hear me, jackass? Open up or I'm kicking the door down."

"OKAY, FINE, I'LL OPEN IT!" Pinesimmer had been literally sitting in front of the locked door in a vain attempt to keep his sister out. But even he knew it was a matter of time before she got in.... so he took the initiative. Which, mostly, was standing up, straightening out his tattered suit, putting on his monocle, on the opposite to his now black-eyed side thanks to a certain someone using him as a human bat...
Then he opened the door, and punched Aspen full force in the face.
From a short distance away, Cradlegrave heard the word Pinesimmer in the distance and was immediately reminded of that guy he'd shot in the face a while earlier with Lark. "Wait, I want in on this too," he muttered, and started making his way over to where the sound of fist pounding wood was coming from.

The blow wasn't unexpected, and it proved that he was just as much of a baby as she had already known him to be. Blood trickled down her nose, a square shot that may or may not have broken it. "That all you got?" she thundered, her gaze locked on him. Perhaps, had he not immediately punched her in the face, she would have been nicer to him. However, he had decided he was going to play dirty. "You want to play dirty?" she seethed, wiping her hand across her nose. "We can play dirty."
She glanced over to the other man, giving him a glare. Don't get in my way, it said, even though she herself was silent. She then turned back to her brother. Her hand reached out, grabbing the side of his head. In a quick motion, she slammed it into the door frame as hard as she could. It was a brutal move, with all of the force of her toned shoulder muscles.
"Feel good, Pine-y? I've got plenty more for you where that came from," she murmured, her lips twitching in amusement.

Pinesimmer's head hit the edge of the doorframe with an audible CRACK, and blood trickled down the side of his head. "Wow, and to think I improved your ugly looks." He countered, though his words were a bit jumbled and slurred as blood trickled out of his mouth along with what looked like at least part of a tooth?
He kicked out her legs, falling on top of her and pulling out a knife she didn't know he'd had. It was a pristine, clean pocket knife. Just the kind of think a coward like him would use, something sneaky and small. Pinesimmer didn't hesitate, stabbing downward at her with the weapon.
(D6 = Rolled a 4. Take that four damage, Aspen! xD)
The word that slipped out of her mouth as the knife plunged into her gut was not a .... pleasant one. She grunted in pain, wincing slightly. The pain was brutal, the kind of pain that she had never quite experienced before. Luckily for her, he had a particularly bad aim. Had his attack been any closer to her internal organs, it probably would have been fatal. However, Pinesimmer could not be so lucky.
She pushed him over, gaining control over the knife after they rolled for a moment. The look in her eyes was borderline sadistic; she might not remember why this fury towards the man started, but it was consuming. Now fully in control, she pinned him down with her knee. She pressed the now bloody knife to her brothers neck, not sharp enough to cut, but sharp enough to get the message across. "If only you could be so lucky," she smiled at him, her mismatched gaze looking more alive than they ever had. "It would be too fast, though, to slit your throat. Dirty, too."
With no other warning, Aspen slammed the knife into her brother's chest, puncturing his lung in a brutal swing. There was a shudder that ran through her- why had that felt so good? She knew that it was only time her brother would die. What she didn't expect was that he had one last attack in him.

Pinesimmer's counter words quickly turned into a gurgle as he grasped for something, anything to hit her with. His hand gripped onto a rock, one that hit her in the side of the head. It wasn't enough to kill, just barely, but between all of the other injuries, she couldn't be doing well, could she? Unfortunately for him, he wouldn't be able to know, as his eyes rolled back in his head, the dude dying for the second time in under a week. In fact, he was two out of three known deaths so far, with no kills to speak of, meaning he had the worst kill death ratio of anyone here.
(D6 = Rolled a 2. Rip Pine, so close to killing Aspen. xD)
Cradlegrave watched as the man's body slumped to the floor, feeling a sense of...was that sadness? Anger? Pity that his first victim had been taken out a second time so quickly? Either way, he had something else to do.
"Thanks for doin' all the hard work," he said, hoisted up his shotgun, and took a shot at the woman.
...rolled a one LMAO

She could feel her cheek crack with the force of the rock, enough to stun her into silence. A giant slash now cut across her cheek, deep enough that it definitely would need medical care....
if she was able to stay alive long enough for medical care, which it appeared she wasn't, as Cradlegrave's bullet collided with her eye, dropping her like a fly.
Cradlegrave lowered his shotgun, hoisting it back onto the strap on his back. "Sorry," he said, "but I didn't like the look in your eye when you downed him. Can't let someone like that go around without consequence."
as if cradle hasnt already shot two people in the face without consequence
