Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bloomingpaw was practically vibrating with excitement at the prospect of starting her apprentice training. The orange and white she-cat practically flew off the round shelter, skittering past the brightly colored stone creatures she didn't know the name of, only to come to a sudden halt, practically marching in place as she looked between the warrior's den and the round dens unsure of which of the two he should look for Desertwind.

Unfortunately he was not on either of them. He had tried up the wooden twoleg path and was now high above te ground gazing down. Occasionally he would push and object off of it and begin counting aloud “one... two... three...” only stopping when it hit the ground with a thud. He would take a few moment muttering something, and then would knock the next one off repeating the process.
Torn between her options the young cat was going to just pick one at random before she could faintly hear the sound of...counting? coming from near the great den. There was no reason for her to assume that it was Desertwind but it couldn't hurt to check right? She bounded over with far too much enthusiasm given the early hour, foolishly stopping underneath the wooden bridge.
"Desert-" before she could finish saying his name Bloomingpaw had to very narrowly avoid the rock that rushed towards the ground to meet her, letting out a shriek of terror at the close encounter.

Desertwind huffed “Bloomingpaw, why did you have to go and do that for? Now I have to do it again. Be a dear and bring that rock back up here to me” as he readied the next rock to be tossed over the edge, oblivious to how close he had come to hitting her. He was in investigation mode and wouldn’t be able to stop until his curiosity was satisfied
"O-okay" she stammered, warily but quickly took the rock in her teeth and scrambled to the side of the bridge, looking for the quickest and most efficient way to climb up and join her mentor., though she was too embarrassed by having already messed up ... whatever her mentor was doing to admit she had never climbed anything a day in her life. If she weren't carrying a rock in her might she might of swallowed due to nerves but she didn't want to be that apprentice who died choking on a rock her first day of training. So summoning all her courage Bloomingpaw cautiously, and very slowly began to ascend the bridge.

Desertwind pushed another rock oblivious to the she-cats plight “One..two..three”before it hit the ground “fascinating” his tail swished from one side to the other. “No matter how big it is, it takes the same amount of time to reach the bottom” when the she-cat joined him he took the rock and pushed it off “One..two...three” again the same amount of time. He looked at his apprentice, would she take the same amount of time? He debated on sending her down next, only the memory of his father lecturing him that time he three a kit out of the tree when he was making wings kept him from doing so. Still hearing Ghostcrown’s words, no experimenting on cats until they were old enough to be warriors and could say no. A pity really... “good you can climb, you are going need that to go on our first adventure today. I have plans, and you are going to be my assistant” there new camp was like a playground for him
The way Desertwind was looking at her, studying her she could almost guess the internal debate her mentor was having with himself. Clearly whatever he was thinking he thought better of it. Bloomingpaw visibly relaxed at that only to be put on alert by his next words though her fear was mixed with excitement as she tilted her head curiously.

“We are going to do some experiments of course!!! Now doesn’t that sound like fun? I will even let you pick which one. I got project green duck, project gill and project fluffy” he nodded his head up and down “they are all fun, so take your pick and we will go from there my little assistant”
