Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. The tom coughed a bit of water, giving his pelt a vigorous shake and letting out a sound that was the mix of a growl and a huff. Maybe he should have been a hint more careful around the moving water, but familiarity with the area had admittedly made the tom cocky and he'd slipped in. In some ways he was lucky, there were many cats who had fallen in at much worse areas in the Crystal Caverns and with nothing to grasp onto, and had either drowned or gotten closer than comfort to it. But that thought was far from Randall's mind; admittedly the thought of dying was the last thing on the tom's mind, he hadn't even considered the fact that it could happen. Instead, he was bitter about being wet and felt humiliated about the slip, hoping that no one was around to see him take an accidental dip underneath the water.
