Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Adeline padded over to the fresh-kill pile, dropping what was a fairly substantially sized squirrel at the top. She might, at a better day, at a better time, held a bit of pride over it, but puffing up her ego didn't seem even appropriate in this situation. The group was on the verge of starvation even now, and though spring held some hopes for warmer weather, the she cat had the sense to know the regime might be in bad straits even up until summer hit again. The regime's harsh terrain didn't leave much for compassion, unfortunately just surviving was sometimes the goal post to be met, thriving was something far out of mind.
And so, the she cat immediately started to head off again on another hunt. There was really no time to rest nowadays. One success was nice, but one success wasn't going to keep the entire regime alive.
