Circe fell with a very ungraceful movement, dull jab of pain. The large, fluffy furred she-cat rolled over with a groan and pushed herself to her paws. She had been attempting to catch a lizard -- though, she'd never been too good at hunting. Hence why she had been promoted to the Guider rank, to help with animals. Grimacing as she twisted to examine her side, she was relieved to note that it was probably only going to bruise. Nothing broken, skin or bone. With a click of her tongue she stood and shook the dust from her fur, hoping dearly that no cat had truly seen her fall the way she had. And now, she was on a different ledge of the wall. "StarClan knows this will be fun," she grumbled to herself as she readied herself, before leaping back up to where she'd originally been.
The tom just paused, watching the sight with a confused gaze. He figured he was long overdue for speaking up, he was probably long past the point of being polite and notifying the she cat of his presence like any normal cat probably should have long ago. And yet, he couldn't help but be curious over the she cat he had just witnessed make an attempt to catch a lizard. Would it be rude to question it? Don held his tongue. The answer was probably a yes, and then he'd have to explain why he just sat by as he saw the she cat take a tumble on top of it all.
In all honesty the tom hadn't intended to just sit by and just by a bystander to whatever the guider was up too, but he considered it too late to change that now.

Though she wasn't deft in capturing prey, she had ears as sharp as any other cats; sharp enough to be able to pick up the sound of prey when she was doing her duties. Circe glanced up, her two bright green eyes blazing with intensity as she pinpointed Don. He looked as if he had seen her little tumble. And then, she gave a sort of chortle of amusement, seeing the curious expression on his face.
She called over to him conversationally, "Too bad we can't all grow wings like birds, eh? Might make catching prey a bit easier." More or less, she was a bit more worried about him overhearing her curse in her old religion's name, rather than seeing her embarrassing excuse of what one would call hunting.
Don's ears perked a hint in the surprise of being noticed. Not that it shocked him that he would be, but rather because he hadn't assumed it would be so soon after a botched catch. The tom knew he personally would have had a good few moments of being too stuck in his head after any loss to be fully aware of the world around him, but he supposed he was impressed that the she cat rebounded that fast -- even if she had been hunting a lizard.
Even still, Don's voice was warm as he called up. "It would. Would be great for a lot of other stuff too. Us cats got the raw end of the deal with just having four paws."
