Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Aria wanted to have kits, she did. But she was terrified of becoming like her mother -- even if she wouldn't be raising her own kits. After spending so much time in a clan, that felt like a weird concept to her. But it didn't matter. Even if she'd long since made peace with Blakelystar, it didn't mean her old wounds were healed. She was startled when someone came up beside her, scaring her out her thoughts.
A silver Egyptian Mau had spotted Aria from across the camp. Vesuvius did not care for most of her clanmates in the Coalition. It's not that she would not fight for them, but not talking to them on a day to day basis was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, if she ever got caught up in something, the she-cat knew she would need some character witnesses, so exceptions had to be made. "So, ahhh, what's up?"
Aria focused on Vesuvius and took a deep breath. She was constantly wondering if it had been a mistake joining the group she'd been born into. "I'm just thinking. You?" she replied after a few extra seconds. It wasn't that she wasn't planning on talking, it was just that she hoped if she took long enough to respond the other cat would leave and let her get back to her thoughts.
Vesuvius was hoping for the same thing, but Aria responded with the most open ended question one could ask. "To be honest, I was thinking about how much I did not want to talk to you. Like, nothing personal, but I'm not a small-talk enthusiast."
She smiled and lay down with her paws crossed. "Well, if I don't obey the rules, I need a few acquaintances to vouch for me. You looked lonely, so, yeah. You're my one conversation for today."
