Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The Regime has been without a Mercenary Superior, Chaman, and Guider Superior for a while, so with the new changes, it's about time for these to be filled! Please note these are all considered staff positions (Deputy, MC, MCA respectively) so be aware that you cannot tryout for Merc. Superior if you have a leadership position, or for Chaman/Guider Superior if you have a medical position. You are allowed to try out for both the leadership & medical position, if you'd like, but can only be chosen to fill one of the three positions.
Prior to trying out, it is also recommended that you take a look through RR's new page, as there have been updates to RR that will soon take effect in the upcoming plot. c:

MERCENARY SUPERIOR // DEPUTY EQUIVALENT
The best Mercenary, equal in rank to the Scout Superior. They arrange mining, tunnel, and surface territory operations, as well as ensure Mercenaries and their Cadets are keeping up on their combat skills. This rank also oversees the group’s Privates, and ensures they are suitably shown the harsh realities of life. Lives in HQ.
Note: I am not intending to step down anytime soon, so if you're a new user worried about becoming a leader too soon, you needn't worry. c:
CHAMAN // MEDICINE CAT EQUIVALENT The most skilled healer in the Regime, this cat nurses the sick, heals the wounded, and often receives dreams from the Blind Protector. This cat has the most direct line of communication with the clan’s ancestors, and is capable of seeing and speaking with the dead. They are granted two lives, and are respected for their abilities to speak with the ancestors. Because of the nature of the Guider rank, many Chamans are old, or otherwise disabled in some fashion. Lives in HQ.
GUIDER SUPERIOR // MEDICINE CAT APPRENTICE EQUIVALENT The best Guider, second only to the Chaman, who they succeed, in terms of skill. This Superior oversees the day to day of all Guiders and the training of Guider Cadets, and is incredibly skilled in not only the art of healing, but in being able to grow plants and raise animals. It is only when a Guider becomes Superior they start to see any sort of respect, and it’s nothing akin to what their fellow Superiors see. Because of the nature of the Guider rank, many Guider Superiors are old, or otherwise disabled in some fashion. Lives in HQ. // FORMAT //

EXOLAS VIREDUM {{ RIKA Exalos is a very slim bodied, and yet oddly lean/muscular cat with tufty fur in some places. Their pelt is a creamy/tan, with gray tabby markings and some tan splotches here and there. His cheek fur is the oddest; draping down their cheeks in tufts. His ears are folded, courtesy of their breed's namesake. With piercing navy-blue eyes, you'd think that they would be intense and outspoken. And yet, there's a very dull and sleepy look to Exalos's face. The first thing to probably come to mind is how incredibly lax, and fluid Exalos's movements seem to be. They are very adaptable to physical scenarios and situations; which makes him almost as hard to catch as an eel when fighting. Honing in on their more quick and slippery tactics, they were never able to fully adapt to fighting. But every strategy works in their own unique ways, and Exalos firmly clings to this belief. His eyes are especially noticeable in the sense that they always appear sleepy, or bored. Most times, its hard to get a full grasp and ready on what Exalos is really feeling. They are usually only expressive with close friends and loved ones; but even then, it really takes a dire situation to evoke much of a reaction. Most of the time, it'd be a frustrated furrow of the brow as he really tries to figure out a pretty hard dilemma. Despite his lack of physical expressions, Exalos is surprisingly easy to read via body language. With strangers, they are very calm and collected, with little to show for concern and excitement. Most of the time, they spend all day napping or sleeping. Of course, they finish their duties when assigned. But a nice day for Exalos means draping themselves along a nice, cozy ledge. This means when they don't get intervals of naps, he tends to yawn and appear very exhausted. Other times, when they are particularly stimulated, Exalos can appear very clingy and whiny. They tend to express this emotion only with close companions, though. Lastly, Exalos is extremely blunt and straightforward. Don't expect him to beat around the bush; he will definitely not waste any time getting to the point.
Which position are you trying out for?: Mercenary Superior.
How will your char interact with Shule, Sean, and Nottingham?: ✦ With Shule, I believe Exolas would be extremely loyal and possibly even awkward at first, as he is with most cats. He's a cat that works hard but appears to be very relaxed and unbothered, even in the worst of situations. I think he would get along very well with Shule, at the most. ✦ With Sean I believe Exolas would get along with alright, though he would be particularly careful of him as he seems to be a bit dangerous and reckless. Exolas tends to have a good head on his shoulder when it comes to doing this in an orderly and organized fashion, so Sean's chaotic energy would trip him up possibly from time to time. ✦ With Nottingham, he would probably be a bit more perplexed if anything. Exolas sometimes has a very "work now, play later" attitude and would struggle to understand how Nott particularly works. Though as stated before, he would try to not let this show as he tends to be a very laid back personality.

SYMPHOROSA STARKFIELD {{ ATOMHEART A stunning she-cat with ghostly black smoke tabby fur. Her long coat is a soft grey with black tabby stripes and dark limbs. Her black face has a crooked blaze that slips down to her chest. Her eyes are a vivid sapphire blue with faint silver specks. She has one white paw on her front right leg. Overall she is clearly a Starkfield with her black and white coat with blue eyes. She was born to Ananassa, one of the last cats born in Avalon Everlasting and the daughter of the last president. Symphorosa was born long after the end of AE and grew up in various loner groups with her mother. She learned all her history from her mother and now has fantastical ideas about leaving as equals with a leader who is voted into place, not chosen. Yet she followed her mother to Renegade Regime after the death of her older sister during the birth of her kits. Now living amongst a group with different ideas, she has learned to adapt. In those chances she has allowed herself to express herself and indulge in her own desires. No longer does she have to contain herself for the better of others. Though she has thrown herself into her new job with merciless dedication, often working herself to the bone. At the same time she has her indulgences that now with others around her to pick up the slack she is able to enjoy fully. Symphorosa has her mother’s sharp tongue and a love for a good argument, though she won’t avoid a fight if the need calls for it.
Which position are you trying out for? : Mercenary Superior
How will your char interact with Shule, Sean, and Nottingham? : Shule - Shule reminds Symphorosa of her mother and so naturally has a great deal of respect for her. That being said Symphorosa is a bit more relaxed and fun loving so she may occasionally try to push Shule out of her comfort zone. Yet Symphorosa understands the need to fall in line and listen for the good of the group.
Sean - She definitely likes him, he is fun and yet dedicated. His peculiarities though made her unsure exactly where she stands with him, but she could just be bad at reading him. A little bit of her is curious as to why he holds a position for his own merit or because of his wife. Yet she knows he has some sort of value as he was at point the Commander, just what exactly she isn’t sure.
Nottingham - At first glance they could easily become fast friends. They both come from close families and look for the fun in life. Though Symphorosa comes off as more work focused and serious. Nottingham’s desire to be unconnected does seem strange to Symphorosa though and there is were they differ.
Questions, Comments, Concerns? : I know Symphorosa is currently a scout but she would fit well in the position having grown up outside the regime and having learned skills there.
ATLAN PROSPERO {{ WRENPANSY A relatively large tom, his athletic frame just barely strays from being bulky and instead being well defined. Long limbs and a long, almost snaking body gives him the appearance of having a lighter, more willowy frame than he actually does, one that is only mutually balance by his long and course black and white pelt. His eyes are a dark green, that stick out distinctly against his white masked face.
How will your char interact with Shule, Sean, and Nottingham? :
So to start out, this is hard to answer because I know RR is about to have some major changes coming, and I don't know the motivations that each character will have for supporting them. I feel like with such major changes to RR, my character (as well as a lot of other characters) will have some serious personal opinions on the changes and a lot of how Atlan will interact with the members of the staff will be highly dependent on that. However, at the basic personality level:
Shule: Shule seems very straightforward and like she has a good work ethic while also maintiaining a lot of affection for her family. Those are all traits Atlan would very much respect. The two would probably get along the most, I can see Atlan at least seeing where she's coming from on most things. I don't know if the two would always agree, but Atlan would always be inclined to respect where she's coming from, both as the Commander and as someone who in a lot of aspects he can relate to.
Sean: I imagine Sean would definently confuse Atlan and the two might be as diametrically opposed as humanley (cat-anley?) possible, but I think that could lead to a lot of interesting interactions. Atlan isn't one to be hyper vocal in his disagreements, but there is no doubt in my mind they'd be in opposition to each other in a lot of ways. Atlan is more one to quietly work against something he dislikes, so you'd have less of an overt rivalry, and more of Atlan just doing his best to get outcome he thinks is best with as little opposition possibe.
Nottingham - Nottingham also seems like someone who would confuse Atlan, but I could see them meshing better than with Sean and Atlan. While Atlan might not understand how Nottingham thinks, he could respect her skills and definently relate to Nottingham's closeness to her family. In general, while they might not be the best of friends, I could see Atlan working well with her, even though I think their work styles and personality might be doomed to clash ( though hopefully the most interesting, role-play oppertunity-ish of ways).
Questions, Comments, Concerns? : I'll just leave this note here that the bio above is a blurb and will probably be expanded on before the end of the try-outs.
Also want to say that I am hyped to see the eventual plot and that I can't wait to actually see what causes all the new changed to RR to be implemented and how they will be!
XYLINA ‘XIA’ SYLVAINE {{ SHADOW A she-cat with patches and stripes of silver and grey on a white canvas and cerulean eyes, she is the daughter of Roux Sylvaine, a mercenary who’s heart was stolen by an EarthClan faerie. With a name meaning ‘woodland pixie’ and a nickname meaning ‘glow of the sunrise’, she’s a gentle hearted she-cat who, while noble and exuding grace, can also be a fierce match in both claw and wit.
CROSSZERIA ‘CROSS’ DIAVOL {{ SHADOW A black tom with haunting red eyes, he is the son of Zodiac, a merciless mafia leader of the group Genesis in the city and a feline with quite a bit of history to back his name. Though he may appear to be an intimidating force who radiates darkness like the most resentful of demons, there’s a kaleidoscope of a personality hidden within, cracks only shown to those willing to play the long game.

HOURGLASS DEALSPAWN
BRAELYNN KINSLEY{{ ASHESTOASHES Of slightly bigger built this stocky she cat is made of tougher stuff. A throw away she was left to die out in the harsh world all by herself. Although she has guesses Braelynn couldn't tell you what happened to her parents. She may not remember much but one thing she can recall is someone told her she would be useless and left her to die alone. Lucky for her she was thrown into Renegade Regime territory and tykes that are willing to work hard survive. As if to prove to herself she isn't useless she threw herself at Renegade's mercy and proved herself to be immensely useful. She dedicates her life to those that saw use in hers and follows orders without complaint. After all why should she complain? They could have allowed her to die out there all alone in the world. Instead they gave her a chance to live and she took it by the claws and held on. She lives her life solely for that of the group and nothing more.

How will your char interact with Shule, Sean, and Nottingham?: *I usually let character development and relationships flow however they go in a thread buuuut*
Shule: Since Braelynn is extremely loyal and dedicated to the group, willing to sacrifice love and having a family for the group, Shule would probably relate a lot to Braelynn's position.
Sean: Hmmm I would like to think that she would be friendly towards him and maybe he would convince her to do some shenanigans
Nottingham: Would have fun conversations about pirating but would have to actually hang out a few times before they would be friends.
Questions, Comments, Concerns?: I was so tempted to put in Hourglass (and still tempted) but Braelynn would probably be a better choice lol

TUNDRA SILVIUS {{ STRAWBERRYCUPID If nothing ever goes right, there's no reason to believe things would change. He was ready to be a throwaway character in a movie, one that is filmed to be sympathetic. Kind, strong in their convictions, maybe a little dumb but charming enough. And then the plot completely destroys them and everything they love. The worst part is there is no redemption, no promise for a happy future. Because it's already too late, because that character is dead, and now the protagonist takes on their burden. But there's no sympathy for that character, cause he was just a device, a ploy to pull at your heartstrings till they break. Tundra is still alive though and doesn't know what to do with his remaining time. His body is covered in pure white fur like a corpse covered in fallen snow. As he gets older, he will slowly start to grey; decay except for his chest, belly, and paws. Which was strange, especially since rigor mortis starts in the head. His hazy green reptilian eye is sunk into his skull, the other completely gone and leaving an empty hole in its wake. Like his namesake, he is horribly small. Already the runt of his litter, a lack of milk kept him from growing any more. Any chance to grow or change was shut down, even if Winterclan would say otherwise. His only supposed help was Howlingnight dragging him away from Bluejay to force him to walk to her again. When he left the prison, he didn't initially fit in with his siblings. He was looking to be brave like his mother wanted, and that seemed to mean being rebellious. Rather than go with his demon name, Maggotkit, he took the name his mother Bluejay called him, Tundrakit. Until one day, when his foster mother, Dottymask, got mad enough to cuff him over the eye for it. His eye swelled up and became infected, and with them refusing to let the witch's help, it ended up with Maggotkit pinned to the ground as Silverfury pulled it out of its socket. With his eye came his defiance, and Maggotkit slowly fell into his role as a servant and a demon. He's generally polite but will point out flaws in his littermate's logic. While he has gotten along with them better, there's still a wall between him and a few. Once he became quiet, he stopped being the center of attention. Which meant less torment. But his mind still revolved around the things they said, slowly letting himself believe he is what they say he is. You can still catch the glimmer of rebellion in his eye if you look close enough. Though most of that is tunneled into stealing food and talking back to Winterclan in a hushed tone. He still has a fierce devotion to Bluejay and gets extremely defensive of her. He still wants to be seen as the brave boy she asked him to be, but he isn't sure he'll live long enough to become it. And even as he's living it in the Regime, he expects death around every corner.
Which position are you trying out for? : Guider Superior
How will your char interact with Shule, Sean, and Nottingham? :
--Shule: Tundra would respect Shule, but still be extremely wary of her. He doesn't have a good track record with authority figures and doesn't expect that to change anytime soon. Of course, the more comfortably he gets in the Regime, the more likely he'll loosen up around Shule. He wouldn't really understand some of her troubles, but I can see him lending an ear.
--Sean: Sean would probably freak Tundra the heck out. Not because of anything he did, but just how he is and still exists. It'd feel like someone out of a fairytale to Tundra. And he isn't sure whether to follow Sean around like a lost puppy or to just watch him in amazement. He'd be a stuttering mess at first, but would slowly get his cool back somehow.
--Nottingham: Poor boy is horrified at first. He's so sensitive to any sort of criticism that even Nottingham's more rough and impersonal talking would scare him off. She's probably the one it'd take Tundra the longest time to come around to. Wouldn't help that neither of them are very social. He's the kind to nod along with her plans. Would also end up worrying about her because she reminds him of his siblings.
