Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Valentine Mauve's temper was flaring now, he had already told this kid to beat it, but now the scrawny thing was already sneaking back onto Regime territory. He could already tell by the toms skinny state that he was going to try to steal prey. Prey that they hardly had enough of, plus he was already pretty generous telling the kit to scram. In his mind it was time to use force and if it happened to go too far then whatever.
Stalking low to the ground he followed after the apprentice aged tom right until he was close enough to touch him. He kind of had to, Valentine was a short guy. Pouncing forward Valentine dragged the apprentice to the ground. He wasn't a part of the moment, he was detached from it, hardly taking in the toms cries or the fear etched into his face. In Valentine's eyes there was little else to do, but kill the unruly outsider so with a simple stroke of his claws he cut deep into the toms throat. He was a guider though, so as he got off the tom he could tell his cut wasn't deep enough. Great, I'm going to have to stand over him and wait to make sure he dies or get my claws all messed up again.
The Scout was hunting, stalking through their territory when she heard an awful scuffle. Immediately, her ears flew back. What was going on? Amaranth dropped the scent trail she'd been following and took off toward the sound, stumbling when she smelled that metallic tinge in the air that meant blood.
The scene before her was horrible. She called out to Valentine, "What have you done?!" The black she-cat surges forward, moving to knock the tom off of the bloody kit beneath him.
Valentine easily fell over to the side as the she-cat bulldozed past him over to the wimp on the ground, "Amaranth, what the heck!?"
The beaten apprentice was quivering on the ground, his white paws finding his throat before tensing at the blood coming out. Luckily the wound wasn't lethal so long as he got treatment fast. Unfortunately the healer was right in front of him, Valentine. He whimpered as he shakily got to his paws to run, but blacked out immediately at the sudden exertion collapsing to the ground before finding consciousness again.
"If you want you can put him out of his misery for me. You're way better at kill shots than I am," Valentine said numbly as he looked at his once clear claws now smudged up with blood.
She grimaced. "I kill prey, not children. Fix this, now." When Amaranth looked back down at the apprentice, she realized he wasn't moving. Her voice rose up in a panicked yell. "I said now, Valentine!"
"What'll give you give me if I do it?" Valentine asked, cleaning the gunk from his claws, hardly seeming concerned with the time ticking on the situation.
cookie (Just pinging you because I've been absent for a while and I know how old this rp is)
"Psh, deal," Valentine said, leaning up immediately as he left to grab some herbs.
The tom on the ground remained perfectly still finding that no movement was much more easier to handle in terms of pain level. When Valentine came back around and noticed that the tom had stopped moving he tapped at the toms back paws, "Calm down, I'm not going to let you down." He said, with sudden concern, probably recognizing that his meal ticket couldn't die or else Amaranth wasn't going to catch him anything.
Pulling a few herbs together he managed to chew up some poultices and bandage up the toms injuries, "Why would you invade a place like this anyways?" Valentine scoffed.
"C-Commander Shule and Huntleigh said I was welcome back anytime..." The tom said quietly.
"Oh... Well you should come back when your injuries are healed and totally not mention any of this to the commander, okay? Alright, bye bye yah little rapscallion," Valentine said, already trying to usher the tom to his paws, hoping Amaranth wouldn't encourage the guy to stay.
Amaranth watched with concern as Valentine worked on the little tom. "Are you sure we shouldn't bring him back with us? I don't know that he can make the journey back to wherever he needs to go alone. Maybe I should take him home."
