Even though the League territory had recently been turned on its head, the photo booth was a relic miraculously left unscathed. It was the reason Cassie came here, after all. The only place you could immortalize yourself as you are in that point in time. She wanted to keep a record of it.
"How does this thing work..." The tortoiseshell she-cat pressed a few buttons willy-nilly but nothing was lighting up. She didn't have a lot of experience with twoleg technology. After pressing a red button she heard a click ad nearly jumped out of her fur, which was follow by a blinding flash and, a few seconds later, the machine gave birth to a small piece of paper with her startled face on it.
"Oh my God..." Cassie held the picture close to her chest and felt tears welling at the corner of her eyes. She was sooooo cute! She'd dressed up with some black silk ribbons she'd found hanging out of window, which lead her to a treasure trove of costume jewelry. She was drawn strongest to the white lazy bows with black beads and glitter. That combine with her wide frightened eyes and puffed out fur made her look like an absolute innocent doll-baby and she loved it!

"Pretty as a picture of you, that one is." A warm voice spoke up behind her before she felt another cat gently kiss the top of her head. Lorelei Manina took a step back, a purr rumbling in her throat. Her once little kits were all grown up now. Though Lorelei herself had barely aged mentally in that time, she held herself back from batting at the ribbons Cas had painstakingly woven on.
She never really noticed a power or an ability, but Lorelei developed an almost uncanny sense of what her kits were up to. Good and bad. Lorelei could almost feel those scars Romulus got and the sense of dread Cas had had for a while. It was why the calico took her steps back, though she wanted to smother her child. "You're not gonna walk by without saying hello. What are you doing here?"
Acacia froze when her mother appeared. Of course she knew she'd probably run into her if she came to the League, but she wasn't prepared for it so soon, she was honestly caught off guard, "M-Mom!"
She felt a dampness on her face and realized that she was crying. Why? She wasn't sad, a little nervous, sure, but honestly she was in higher spirits than she had been ever since she joined SunClan with Vulcan and the rest. She wiped the tear away and tried to stifle it best she could, "I.. I'm so happy to see you. SunClan is terrible, I wish dad had never taken us there, but at least I learned something about myself."
Acacia righted a crooked bow from her leap and gave Lorelei a teary smile, "I'm a she-cat! Please call me Acacia Blair, or Cassie if that's easier, I don't mind."
Senescence had never spent too much time with Lorelei's kits. Mostly because they resided in SwiftClan and SunClan, where she didn't usually travel. Well, she didn't travel to SunClan anymore. But either way.
She arrived without any particular grandness, silent at Lorelei's side as Cassie cried and declared herself a she-cat. The Proxy's gaze glanced up and down her granddaughter once, expression entirely devoid of emotion, making it difficult to tell what she was thinking. "Well, Acacia Blair." She commented, "...Looks like I have yet another she-cat who needs a room full of accessories."
Sen sighed, though the smallest edge of her mouth quirked up ever so slightly. "I'll have to show you what Inno has so you can tell me what you like. I'm sure she wouldn't mind you trying a few out so you can find your style."

Lorelei's brow furrowed as tears began to form in her daughter's eyes. She was led on instinct, brushing them away with her tail. Though she may have been a little rough and jabbed a hair or two into Acacia's face, it was an accident. She remembered Romulus talking something about Sunclan. That he got captured and the rest of the family followed. Now Acacia was the first one to leave, it made her wonder about the others.
Her tail wagged as Senescence joined them. "I got a daughter!" She jumped to her paws. "Acacia Blair... I love it. We'll get you all dolled up." Lorelei exclaimed excitedly, reaching over to adjust one of the bows but ended up making it crooked. Tilting her head, she realized what she had done and righted it back to the way it was.
Acacia didn't know her great grandmother very well. They had met a handful of times but they hadn't spent a lot of time together, their relationship up until now was a causality to the tumultuous state of the Enchanted Forest. She looked up at the massive auburn she-cat and felt nervous: Sen was strong and intimidating, two things Acacia had never been. But she noticed a softness to the proxy's eyes and smiled as she offered to help her with her with her style. The tortoiseshell she-cat took a tentative step forward and brushed up against Sen, careful not to get tears on her fur, and flashed her the most adorable smile, "Mhm! Let's do that!"
She then pulled away, not sure if she'd overstepped her boundaries, and turned her attention back to her mother. She didn't pull back as Lorelei brushed her tears away although she did flinch slightly. Now, Acacia wasn't a true crybaby, but her brothers weren't exactly the most... affectionate cats. She wasn't used to being consoled, "Thanks you... You know, everyone always describes the League as an unruly, scary place, but I think they only do that out of jealously... Anyway... how about you show me around?"

It was easy to be happy when someone else was. Lorelei didn't understand Acacia's wariness of Senescence, but it wouldn't take long for her to warm up to Sen. She knew it.
"Wow, they're jealous of us. Probably 'cause we have the strongest and cutest members in the world." Lorelei's brushed her face against Sen's shoulder as she said strongest and then leaned over to lick Acacia's forehead before saying cutest.
"I mean." She pulled back, sitting straight up, "You've already found the... what's it called. Price of persistence? Yeah, that's what it's called. The photo booth." Lorelei was thinking of piece de resistance
Senescence stiffened a tad at Acacia's affection, though the Proxy didn't pull away, albeit she was still trying to pretend she was annoyed by her daughter and granddaughter's touchy personalities. "Oh, the League is scary enough." She answered herself, "You're just lucky enough to be surrounded by family who will tear apart anyone who tries something on you." That statement was probably as close to admitting she cared as Cassie would get.

"Oh yeah. You don't worry one hair off your pretty head. Sen will give them the glare. All she needs to do to chase everyone but me off." Lorelei leaned against her mother, completely unaware of the pretending. Even if Sen didn't like the touch, Lorelei would have kept doing it. She liked the feeling of her warmth.
