Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"How are you Fadingsight," Her voice felt warm in his ears as his mother moved behind him. Satin soft fur moved past him leaving a chill in its wake as she sat beside him. Her warmth forcing the cold aside. She could move winter to another season with that kind heat. Glowstar's paw rubbed against his, "Don't be afraid to tell me, has anyone been bothering you? Don't worry, I promise I won't gauge their eyes and make them eat it," Her sweet as candy voice and the words that came out from her lips were like sea and fresh water they never seemed to belong together. Not to mention her promise sounded awfully specific. Ever since they moved to SunClan Glowstar hadn't spent nearly as much time with her kits as she had wanted to so now she was checking in on Fadingsight. After all SunClan was all about the Sun God and Fadingsight's job was to speak to StarClan. She wasn't entirely sure if they had been bullying him or not.

"I'm okay." He assured her, taking comforting in the warm heat coming from his mother and relaxing a bit at her familiar presence. There was no denying he'd been feeling particularly tense ever since being thrusted into an unfamiliar camp. He couldn't really go anywhere even if he wanted to without bumping into this and that, this camp was horribly unfamiliar and for the most part Sunclan had left him alone. They'd pushed him around a few times as enemy cats do but nothing serious or problematic. "How are you feeling? Are they treating you alright?" As Dayclan's leader he was concerned for her the most, no one could inspire a dayclan cat the way Glowstar could and anyone new she was a dangerous and powerful cat if you were on the wrong side.
"Just a few knicks and scratches here and there," Glowstar licked the side of Fadingsight's cheek, "If I just behaved they wouldn't mind me. Don't be mad if they did something ruthless to me. Most are just helpless to Foxstar or blinded by her. There's no such thing as bad people, just broken or lost. I think Foxstar is a lost soul, the kind that lost herself long ago and is unlikely to ever find it again. But because of that other people suffer. Soulless people aren't just dangerous, they're contagious. I guess that's why I wanted to make sure you were okay."

"Of course I'll be angry if there are cats hurting you, I don't think any cat would truly wish harm upon their mother. I will keep that in mind though." She did make a good point, many of these cats did not seem evil or bad they were just following orders and did as they were told. What he couldn't understand, though, was their inability to think for themselves. Couldn't they decide anything themselves? "You say those without a soul aren't dangerous but I don't know if I believe that. Do you truly believe all of us will leave here alive or without deep wounds?" He could already sense how this might already be hurting their clan, maybe even more so as time passed.
"There are many types of monsters in the world, Foxstar is one of them, but there are worse to be had. Some of us may die, some of us are already hurt, we can't rewind the clock. But when the time comes we'll repair what we have with love and understanding. I'll always believe in the power of friendship, it won't let us down, not even in this dark hour. I know someone will help us out or SpringClan will band together and we'll get through this," Glowstar said.
But she wasn't certain. She thought SunClan would ruin itself by taking in this many cats, but they sustained themselves. Managed to draft some cats, but not many. Time was the final factor, what would SunClan do when the rest refused to join? Kill them? SunClan was still one clan verse two, they wouldn't be able to. Enslave maybe, but execute, too high and physically exhausting of a task. DayClan and SpringClan were known as overly obedient and seeking peace, but there was no way either would sit by if SunClan made a move to kill one of them. If anything they were the type of clan to fight like the heavens if a cat of their own were killed. Still, DayClan needed SpringClan's support to actually rebel and so far they hadn't received it.

"Well I wish we would be able to do something sooner rather than later. I'm worried. I wish I could fight like the others but I can't, I know some but if it comes down to fighting myself and the other emissaries will fight, of course, but we'll be useless." He admitted. He was worried and he could not sense Starclan's presence here the way he could in Dayclan territory and it made him nervous.
"Have you talked to Peachstar? Has he said anything about helping or will we be on our own trying to escape Sunclan's grip?" The longer they were there the more nervous he got. Fadingsight quite frankly just wanted to be at home curled up in his nest, not listening to ramblings about the sun god, cooped up in a camp, or relying on another clan for food, warmth, and safety. He hated i with every fiber of his being.
"SpringClan cats are docile, mad, but not mad enough, turns out it takes a lot to really upset them. Either way, we'll be okay, love," She licked him behind the ear and nuzzled his cheek the same way she did to him when he was a kit, "Even if SunClan did take over us, I'd leave. I'd take you and everyone else who wants to escape and we'd create a rogue gang in the city. We'd keep the warrior code in order to keep us from being savage. A clan isn't a place after all. but, we'll wait for the remainder of this moon, see if anything changes and if not that's just what we'll do. And once DayClan thaws we'd return back to it cause we'd have grown stronger and be able to repopulate. It's just a weakened time for us when so many of our she-cat warriors are currently either pregnant or nursing and our lack of prey on our territory and cold weather makes it nearly impossible to have anywhere else to run to. SunClan can consider themselves lucky."

"I suppose. They're stealing a lot of kits, though. That worries me. They are stealing our warriors." He admitted. Not only from Dayclan but Sprignclan as well, why was Sunclan so desperate for all of these cats? Was integration and followers really their goal or was there some bigger force and meaning behind all of their actions? He honestly couldn't say what it was for sure. The orange tom did take comfort in her affectionate gestures, however, and reminded him of the days since he was young and curled next to Glowstar as a kit. He had little memories of when she found them but he remembered the coolness of the water before the first warmth he experienced from Glowstar.
"In a sad way, Foxstar will always be my sister, but never my friend. You can't have a friend like Foxstar and forgive her so much, but when it comes to family, you forgive as many times as it takes. To me Foxstar is family, she wants what I have because when I was taken to SunClan they made me a warrior there. Not as an honorary warrior, but an official one. It was a way to ensure I wouldn't be considered a leader in SunClan because I owned by it. By extension they feel they own DayClan because of this arrangement so to them it must feel as if it comes naturally. Just be good and behave," She smiled at Fadingsight, "We'll get out of this mess soon."
She didn't say how, but she felt it would be comfort enough for Fadingsight.

He nodded as he listened to her words. What she said made sense, in a weird and twisted way. Sunclan seemed to have an ownership and a righteousness complex if nothing else. "I know you're right." He replied, her words soothing him in a way only she could. "May Starclan light your path. I don't know if they can hear or see us in the middle of the Sunclan camp surrounded by Sun God worshippers, but I have faith." He licked her shoulder affectionately and also as a sign of respect.
[ Are Foxstar and Glowstar blood sisters? If so then I totally didn't realize that xD ]
(No, but Glow insists their family to the point that everyone probably thinks it xD Glow hates her real blood related brother so much that she finds Fox a better siblings than him)
"Listen, StarClan can't do everything Sun God can. But Sun God can kill a cat, he can change that clans entire world. If a celestial being has the power to save everyone he has the power to kill everyone. I'd rather have our ancestors who can't usually do anything, but send vague messages of hope and communicate us in nonsensical ways than have a guy that can smite us and tell us what to do. I don't know, if I was a Goddess I'd try to be honest and selfless. When you're in power you have to be a better person than who you are and while I'm in the presence of DayClan I always try to be better than who I am and believe more than I know possible. He's kind of egomaniac, but, I appreciate a guy upfront about his flaws. Plus if he killed me that would be an awesome death. But he said it's not my time soooo, gotta wait."
Looking at Fadingsight she wasn't sure what to do in the after life. Half of her family was in the Dark Forest, but then the side she's known since DayClan, they would likely all die and go to StarClan.

( I find that really funny actually xD )
Speaking of death, Fadingsight wondered where a cat went if they were smote down by the mysterious Sun God. "Do you know where cats go when they are killed in the name of the Sun God? Does anyone?" He asked her aloud. It wasn't like they had zero communication with the dead so someone might have an answer. Knowledge was power but he wasn't really sure what power knowing that would give him. He had yet to see Sunclan kill a cat in the name of their God but he had heard stories and rumors of public executions and killings in the name of their God.
"I don't know where they go, Fadingsight. I always hoped I would never have to tell you this, but don't think about it. You can't let your mind wander because it will wander off. You'll lose your mind thinking about stuff like that. I get it, that you may not have felt their presence until it was empty. That suddenly everything you hear sounds like their paw steps and the beginning of someone's voice sounds like them. People don't call death magical, but it is, it changes every bit of your senses and gives you a sixth one where you feel literally everything about them around you. I know it because I've lost. And you just can't think about it, Fade. not even if they kill someone you really love."
She looked into Fadingsight's eyes with endearment, she always did, even though he couldn't see it she believed he could feel her gaze.

He nodded, feeling her intense gaze on him as she spoke. "I understand. it's a strange thing to think about after all." He imagined that is Glowstar had not given her lives to her deputies he would ask her how many lives she had remaining, even if it was a rude question to ask. The fact she only had one life made him wonder if she would be able to persist through all of Dayclan's challenges and what might one day pull her away from the clan she loved so dearly.
"Thank you, for everything." He added. She had always done so much for him and created so much wiggle room for him to grow and learn. He owed his life to the other feline and was well aware of that. One top of it, he knew her words would be what helped him remain strong through this.
"No one's ever said that before..." Glowstar smiled, she wanted to pretend that the chances of them being enslaved or forced to join SunCult weren't high, but they were.
Chances were that her clan would be forced into hard labor for any who didn't attempt initiation or merely executed. That one day her life would be waking up to a mate she didn't choose to have and to go hunting for six kits she didn't expect to have and she'd grow up forced to be Foxstar's little attack dog and she'd raise her kits to do the same, but more obediently than herself. And where would that leave her adopted kits like Fadingsight and Azura? They were loyal and she wasn't sure if they'd leave her side even if she wanted them to. And at the same time she could easily run away from a life SunClan tried to force onto her, but she'd be abandoning her trapped clan mates. Despite every inability she had to changing this fate she'd have to do the impossible like she always did and figure out how to save everyone.
Fadingsight could hear the pawsteps approach before Glowstar paid any attention to them. It was Heatherpaw, or more accurately the traitor who abandoned DayClan to support their captors, Autumngossamer, "The clan needs you to hunt."
It wasn't an odd request for Glowstar to be approached distinctly to hunt considering she was among the few cats who could fish. With so many mouths to feed any prey brought to the table would be appreciated. Glowstar didn't seem to mind being ordered by an apprentice and got up. She looked tired and although she could hide that she couldn't hide the way she walked. The waters were cold and the amount of times she'd been fishing had frost bitten her paws. She had been limping around all day and really needed the break, but seemed committed. After all the more she fished the more SunClan could feed DayClan and SpringClan, "I'll be back later Fadingsight."

He nodded as she stood up. "Please, don't push yourself." He had heard her uneven steps upon her walking over to him and knew she was limping and in pain. "I don't know where Flyingcolors is but maybe ask her to take a look at your paws or see if Foxstar or Littlebird might give you something. They can't expect you to hunt if you can't walk." The latter end of his sentence was partially aimed at Heatherpaw who approached them as he recognized her scent.
Quickly, before Glowstar left he stood and pressed his nose to her shoulder affectionately before whispering quietly, "May Starclan light your path."
Glowstar nuzzled into Fadingsight's neck, "I love you," She purred before walking away.
"Cute."
Autumngossamer stood nearby as she slid down a slope walking over to Fadingsight, "So is she like your mom by blood? I could never figure that out? It's Heatherpaw by the way, but I go by Autumngossamer now."
Her voice came off in typical mean girl fashion, but she seemed to be trying to get at something.

Fadingsight purred even as she walked away and he listened to her unsteady paws fade. A flash of irritation swept over him at her approach.
"I know who you are, I know your scent even if Sunclan stench tries to mask it." His words were cold and firm with none of the warmth or love he showed for his adopted mother. "My relationship with my mother is none of your business, especially now that you no longer call yourself friend to Dayclan." He was well aware the situation that their clan was in and some cats joined for survival, looking for hope. He did not agree with their decisions but ultimately it was theirs to make. Cats such as Autumngossamer, however, had made it clear who they were allied to and it left a bitter taste in his mouth.
Autumngossamer looked over him with consideration, but she didn't think she was low enough to beat up a blind cat. Seemed a bit beneath her and her glory. Though it would have sparked quite a reaction out of Glowstar. She needed something else, perhaps roughen him up, but not a full out beating...
"Listen you're under SunClan control and therefore mine. I own you. And as such I've decided you're joining SunClan whether you like it or not. I'll teach you what to do and how to act and if you don't give in I'll break it in for you. So let's start with obedience. I want you to start digging a hole. Now," Autumngossamer said.
She didn't want to be the only one to join SunClan from DayClan. She would be the center of attention in a way she never wanted. But if she got someone else to join with her it would take the attention off her back. Especially if that someone was Fadingsight.

Fadingsight fixed her with his unsealing yellow gaze for a long period of time and did not speak. Did this small traitor apprentice really think he would let her order him around? He let out a bought of laughter and instead of digging her hole as she wanted, he tucked his legs under himself and lay down.
"I'm sure, of all the Sunclan cats, a blind cat is not what you are looking for." There was clear amusement in his voice and he continued. "Please, be my guest. Push me around, beat me up, I'm sure Foxstar will be so proud that her warriors know how to intimate a poor old blind cat like myself." His last word ended in a mocking smile and he knew he had proven his point. The brown tabby had no intention of following her orders because she did not scare him enough.
