Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Brilliance, otherwise known as Brilliantbeacon, was finally well enough to actually do anything besides lay in her nest and be treated by the Guiders. A number had really been done on the she-cat in SunClan, though despite that, she seemed in as good spirits as could be. Then again, she seemed extraordinarily glad to be far, far away from that tom they tried to marry her to. Honestly, she seemed really happy to have dropped that tom. Of course, it was pretty obvious by her explicit mention of it when recounting the story of her 'engagement', that the she-cat was a lesbian.
Though large, she'd lost quite a bit of weight during her healing. It took a while to heal broken bones after all, especially when injuries were semi-neglected thanks to lack of herbs and cats to care for her. Luckily, Mountainsound had done a well enough job with thinks like setting the breaks, that she had no long term issues. At least, she shouldn't. Now she just had to spend a bit getting her strength back in perfect order, and then maybe she could go about in a second attempt at killing that stupid wannabe Priest. Oh, and find her mom. That was important too.

Psyche stepped back into Garden, having gone out for some odds and ends they did not have growing there. She was pleasantly surprised to find the former SunClan warrior up and about. The albino she-cat was pretty sure Briliance joined the regime, though currently was rankless due to her injuries. Setting down her herbs, while watching the siamese cat out of the corner of her eye. Fetching a squirrel from the small prey pile kept in the garden she brought it to the thin she-cat.
"You need to eat before you can take whatever revenge you have planned." Psyche had seen that look in cat's eyes before. Once she would have warned against it, but she had long since learned you cannot discourage some cats. It was never worth the effort, plus revenge was never a clean job and it did give her more work in the long run. So perhaps it was a twisted form of job-security to not discoruage revenge.

The large, fluffy siamese couldn't help but flash a smile at Psyche, then dip her head in thanks for the squirrel. "I think I will probably need to stick around a bit longer before I can actually be of use to anyone." She took a few steps around experimentally before sitting down with the prey. "So, since I'm going to be living the tunnel life, maybe you could do me the honors of showing me 'round the place now that I'm not confined to my nest all day."
She debated offering to share the squirrel, though honestly, hunger won out, and she sat down without such a suggestion. The other she-cat could easily grab something for herself. Between imprisonment and her injuries, she really was on the verge of starvation, and it was hard to resist scarfing down the prey. Still, Brilliance forced herself to take a normal bite, watching the healer curiously.

“Of course, though I’ll let you eat first.” The albino guider turned around to put away the herbs for drying. Most of her free time had been spent preparing for winter. The garden did keep some plants alive year round, but anything more serious that basic wounds and coughs required dried herbs from the summer. So she had been working hard as the frost came though and killed most of the remaining plants. Psyche had not traveled to the other posts in a few days, finding enough work here.
“Do you know how the regime works?” She asked as she joined the she-cat with her own meal, a small mouse. Psyche imagined the former warrior would either be a scout or a mercenary simply because she already had those skills. Most dormi clan cats went to those ranks it seemed, though a raiser or guider occasionally showed up as well.

Brilliance swallowed her prey and tilted her head. "Vaguely. I know they have a few different ranks, and things like hunters and fighters are split. You're also really strict, and your leaders are called Commander. I know some basics, but not a lot of detail." Half of what she knew came from watching the cats, the other half from the fact her mother had had an okay relationship with the Regime so she'd met Regime cats once or twice. But she'd never really asked too much before this.

Psyche never thought of the regime as strict, perhaps more structured and organized. Granted the rules about the various posts and places in the tunnels could be confusing to outsiders. Plus everyone did all the jobs instead of separating tasks based on skill. The Regime was simply a more logical place, full of cats not prone to outbursts. It did fit the dignified and controlled she-cat. She thrived with rules as it allowed her to ignore her emotions when they got to be too much. “I suppose that is a decent grasp of this place.” Psyche shrugged as she finished her meal.

Brilliance was a bit slower to finish her meal, for the sole reason she didn't want to end up with a stomach ache, but she was done soon enough, and it felt good to have a properly full stomach. The Regime cats hadn't starved her until now or anything, rather, she simply hadn't been all that hungry between the pain of her injuries, the herbs, and the like. This was probably the first proper meal she'd eaten since she arrived. "For an outsider, yes, for someone who's probably going to be here for another moon or so, I don't think my explanations will fly for long."

“Of course, you’ll probably being given a mentor of sorts and maybe spend a short time as a cadet. It shouldn’t be too bad, but I can always answer any questions you might have.” Psyche tried to recall the last time she had met an adult cat who was joining the regime. She couldn’t recall any though she probably just hadn’t met them. The albino didn’t spend a lot of time outside of her post other than gathering herbs above ground. Now thinking about it she should probably get out more and spend time in headquarters.
“Are you ready to go?” She asked after washing her face. There were several Posts and other important caverns, not to mention the major tunnels that led between them. Plus just the general navigation of the place often proved tricky for new cadets and the occasional mischievous tyke.
