Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Seakit's adopted mother [Rushingriver] is also my cat Swiftriver's mother, so I thought they could have a cute bonding/welcome thread! c:) @strawberryleaf
'Your brother found you a new sister' was the last thing Swiftriver expected to hear when she returned to camp that night. After she placed her squirrel on the measly fresh-kill pile, she headed toward the nursery, her steps slow and cautious. She was acutely aware that this was the first time she was going to meet Seakit and she wasn't going to make a very good impression: the day's events had left her fur dusty and ruffled, and mud smeared her white legs.
She had no time to clean herself up, though, so Swiftriver ducked into the makeshift den and looked around for the small grey-and-white kitten. "Seakit?" she mewed. "Uh-- hi. I'm Swiftriver, your sister."

OOC: Ok. Thank you!!
IC: Seakit was in the nursery laying in her nest. She was full of milk and was relaxing and letting it settle before going out of the den to watch the older kits play. "Yes?" Seakit said with a tilt of her head as she looked at the older and bigger cat come into the den. "Hello, it's nice to meet, Swiftriver!" She purred happily as she rose to her paws and stretched them one at a time, as she reached her new older sister.
She looked over at the young kitten and smiled nervously. Swiftriver didn't have a lot of experience with kittens; she thought they were fine from a distance, but she didn't know how to actually interact with them. "It's nice to meet you too. Have you been settling in well? This must all be very strange for you."
SwiftClan's nursery wasn't even a real den, after all: they were still moving, so it was really just a few piles of moss hastily shoved beneath a dying blueberry bush.

Seakit sat down next to her sister and let out a small yan before answering her. "I have been slowly getting used to things. It is a bit strange, but I'll adjust soon, I hope." She answered her as she shook her head and sat up straighter. "I just ate, so I'm trying to let my stomach settle before doing anything that would upset it." She commented to her.
Swiftriver nodded sympathetically, hoping she was right. She had spent some time in FallClan when she was an apprentice, and it had taken her a long time to adjust to the new environment. She wasn't sure she ever would have if it wasn't for her friends. "You don't want to make yourself sick," she agreed. "Do you have friends here, Seakit? Have you met the other kits yet?"

"Nope!" She replied with a smile. "Not yet. I was thinking of going into the clearing once my tummy settled and introduce myself to them. " She said as she curled her tail in excitement. Her stomach was already settling down, but the young kit didn't want to take any chances.
