Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
His first gathering as a warrior and Luckywillow was glowing. He trotted in among his clan and wove through their ranks to look for his old friends, wondering what they had been up to. He hadn't been a very popular cat in SummerClan, too shy to make friends, and he felt he had missed out on a lot... he had met a few of the other apprentices and they had been nice enough, but he didn't know where they were now. After his clan was attacked, he departed abruptly, and he hadn't seen any of them since.
The cream tabby tom wove through the ranks with his head held high. There were so many cats here, it was craz-- "Dappledpaw?" he mewed in surprise as he ducked around a cat and nearly ran into her.
She’d come in hopes of seeing all the cats she’d meet during the apprentice exchange, the cats she’d become friends with and trained along side in her late month as an apprentice twice. Dappledmint, smiles at all the cats gathered around here pleased to see them again and at her first gathering at that. But then, someone called her name. Someone she had hoped beyond StarClan to see again. Luckypaw, a fellow exchange apprentice. Both of them had ended up in SummerClan and had latched on to the other. Her outgoing friendly nature drawing him in, and his shyness drawing her in. She was always a sucker for making friends with the quiet ones. But her heart had broken when she’d awoken one day to find him gone. No explanation, until a few days later when word of the attack had landed in SummerClan. “Luckypaw? It is you!” She rushed to his side, tears in her eyes at knowing he was okay, that he was standing here before her alive when she’d feared the worst.
Luckywillow had never purred so loudly in his life. He ducked his head to rub his cheek against hers, joy flooding every fiber of his being. She was here, and she was happy to see him! "Hi," he breathed. "It's so good to see you again. I'm so, so sorry I left you, I-" His voice faltered and the cream tabby pulled away, looking at her seriously.
"My clan was under attack. I had to go to help them. I was so scared."
He had changed since he met her last, and it was readily apparent now. He was taller, lanky, but more than that, he was more confident and mature. His experience had changed him. He was serious, and he held himself more carefully and poised, no longer cowering beneath her.
