Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

FaithHoneystorm so i finally made that Sean and Shule comfort thread for Huntleigh or you can corrupt him more xD probably happens after Dusky and crew leave. When you're young, these kind of tunnels would go on forever. Twisting and turning into each other in ways that made no sense. One day, Huntleigh would have these tunnels memorized, as familiar as the back of his paw. That day wasn't today, as he charged through the tunnels, weaving in ways that made no sense. His mind scrambled for some answer, some reason, but none came. Was he too young, too naive, too... much of a coward to understand? One of his fangs sunk into his tongue at the thought, the brief flashes of pain the only thing keeping him in reality.
His chest heaved when he came to a stop, in the crossroads of some tunnels he didn't recognize. It wouldn't be much work for any older Regime cat to find him, but Huntleigh-tyke felt he had run far enough away. He gasped for breath, the musty air in the tunnels somehow comforting to him. For all his life, he craved that sweet clean air, cause it was the rebellious thing to do. And now he was back in these tunnels, as it was the rebellious thing to do. Because he was mad at them. Mad that they were leaving, mad that they couldn't make up their minds. It was all a confusing and angry swirl of smoke in his mind, and Huntleigh didn't know how to process it.
(I wasn't planning on Sean actually corrupting him! lol)
"Huntleigh," Sean called out for him as he approached.
He could see a mirror image of himself as he walked over to the tiny tom. Where as normally he felt pity, this time, for the first time he felt something new, "You still have Shule and me and your aunt and cousins." He said as he placed his head on top of Huntleigh's, "Today just means that from here on out I'll be spending all my time with you."

Shule wasn't far behind Sean. "We're here for you, Huntleigh." She assured as she arrived, placing a white paw over one of his small ones gently. "Sean and I aren't going anywhere, I promise." The Commander said reasurringly.

(it's always an option xD)
Of course, they weren't going anywhere. They were Commander and Sentinel. They couldn't. But maybe the world really was one where you could throw any sort of responsibility to the side on a whim. Huntleigh-tyke didn't know. "Thanks. I don't get it though. Is this Bloody guy more important to dad than me?" His voice cracked with that question, emotions threatening to boil over again.
(Realistic response from Sean, "I mean, yeah seems like it." Me, "Sean... Please don't say that." LOL)
Sean smiled softly at Huntleigh-tyke and sat down next to him, "Maybe, it's hard to read Glow, I mean- your father. He's different than the rest of us, he was raised by Lex, who knows how he was brought up to look at a situation like this. I think that it's not that he doesn't think of you first, but that he doesn't put himself first. Glow's side of the family is always trying to save the world instead of minding their own business. Now Dusky probably thinks he has to too," He scoffed.

(LOL. now i must refrain from huntleigh being like "time to destroy the world")
It didn't soothe the storm in his heart. Huntleigh-tyke sucked in his cheek, attempting to chew on it only to hit air. "So he's doing all this cause he's convinced himself he needs to save Bloodystar? Even if it means abandoning me?" His tone was tense. He wanted a yes, wanted an affirmation. Something to feel like he wasn't misguided in his growing anger.
"He did leave you for Bloodystar and it hurts because you thought he loved you enough to choose you first every time. And you can be mad today and you can be mad tomorrow, but please, don't stay mad forever because it'll tear you up. Your heart will walk out on yourself. You have one control in life and that's how you control yourself, so whatever you do, don't walk out on who you are because it's a long road back," Sean said to his grandson as he touched noses with him before moving his muzzle past his and nuzzling the side of Huntleigh-tyke's head.

(oof this hurts)
Huntleigh zoned out after Sean's first 5 words. He did. He did. Anger was so easy. It was a one way road. It was one that Huntleigh was ready to throw himself down. Cause... who was he without his family? His whole life had centered around these few cats and now most of them were gone. Without them, he was just a punk. Someone that wanted to say no just to get a reaction, just cause he could. His heart wasn't sure if there was anything it was walking away from.
But he would stick to his grandparents like glue. Nuzzling himself further into Sean, he nodded. Any attempt to speak just ended up in hiccups.
