Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
- these days it gets so loud, best to put it to rest. -
Curled into the corner, and resting her head on an otherwise empty nest, Adoxography's eyes wandered back and forth with the movements of the other cats. It had been another quiet morning for her, but the den seemed to be buzzing this morning. She didn't know why, and it made her chest tight. It seemed as though life had been moving on around her for quite some time now, and she had all she could stand of it. She stood on shaky legs, swaying back and forth a little bit as she scrambled out of her nest and onto the dirt floor. What she had gathered from her time there thus far, was that this place was called Post Kilo - and that it wasn't easy to get to and from Post Kilo for their protection. However, she had to start sometime.

Adox had already been living in the tunnels for a little over a week, having spent her time crumpled into a ball in the corner , trying to regain her strength from the prior weeks of wandering in the woods. She couldn't remember much from that time. Just that she was hungry, and that water was very hard to find. She hadn't seen a soul for as long as she could remember, until she watched a mass of dusty fur disappear into a small hole in the ground out of her peripheral vision. They hadn't noticed her, but she had noticed them, and that was enough. Although she wasn't sure whether she had imagined it or not, her feet were moving beneath her before she had even noticed.
The small bundle of black fur and bones had stumbled upon an entire clan of cats who lived underground. Luckily for her, and begrudgingly for some of them, they let her stay. Life had never made sense to her before, but it was simple - eat anything you could, hide from anything bigger than you, and try to stay alive. The tunnels were anything but simple.

Watching her paws beneath her, she urged them forward - feeling as though they had grown by leaps and bounds in the last week. Her still muscles ached, but the buzz of new sights and scents in the tunnels kept her distracted. She wandered the dirt corridors, trying desperately to remember each turn she made until she finally found herself in a large cavern. The sunlight spilling in through their skylight made her entire body respond, shying away as her eyes adjusted to staring directly into it as though she didn't know better. This place was somehow louder than the mewling of the other kits. Before long, she found herself surveying the area from behind the closest rock, watching as other cats -- larger cats -- came and went about their day, sunning on the adjacent rocks, socializing, of enjoying an afternoon snack.
