Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Veneta-Chan was bored. Torturously so. She was lying on her side in the grass, tail swinging back and forth with pent up energy as her dilated eyes searched hungrily for something to do. Some bug crawled by, seemingly oblivious to her lying there. She eyed it curiously, never having seen a bug quite like it. The summer months had indeed brought strange creatures that her young eyes had not yet been exposed to. Its hind legs were large and bent in quite an odd way. As it drew closer, she lifted a cautious paw, quickly batting at it a few times before it suddenly jumped. Startled, Veneta jumped up as well, back arching, fur sticking out like a porcupine.
She suddenly caught herself, embarrassed to be seen so out of sorts because of a hopping bug. Veneta hoped no one had seen her, but just in case she was wrong, she hurried after it, pouncing on it. She missed once as it hopped away again, but the second time she tried, she caught it, puncturing it with her claw for good measure. Stupid bug, scaring her like that.

The dark she-cat watched as Veneta-chan pierce the bug on her claw and a smile spread across Maleah-chan’s face. It was a cold and emotionless smile, but a smile none the less. Gracefully the young she-cat got to her feet and left the patch of ground she had been relaxing on, heading toward the other young cat. “Great job. You caught the terrifying beetle of Primal Instinct.” Her voice was soft and charming as she approached her sister, teasing her in a playfully way. There wasn’t much to do around here for cats their age, so taking down flying bugs was the highlight of the day.
Veneta's face lit up as she recognized her sister's voice, despite being teased. "It's not a beetle Maleah, look at it!" she held up her paw with the excitement of finding something never before seen. "It's a hopping bug. Have you ever seen one like it? Look at those legs! Also, much bigger than a beetle. Hey, do you think its edible?"

Maleah leaned in to examine the bug hanging from Veneta’s paw more closely. It did have unusually long legs for a bug and not the right type of shell for a beetle. The dark she-cat shrugged her shoulders and lifted her pale eyes to her sister. “I’m not sure what it is Veneta. I have never seen it before. Though if you really want to know if it is edible, you can always try eating.” She replied, a slight smirk coming across her face. She was actually curious to see if her sister would eat the bug or not.
