Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Senescence led Elyon onto Regime territory. She was wearing a backpack, something she'd gotten from twolegplace. It had been some expensive item in a pet shop, and it was rather convenient for carrying things. In this case, it was items for their training session.
Internal and Foreign Affairs. Together, they dealt with the ins of the League, and the outs of all the other clans and groups. Which, considering Sen was part of three of them... was rather convenient. Okay, she didn't intent to return to SunClan for the moment, but that was besides the point.
"Today we're learning how to set fires." Senescence, back at the mansion, had kept a fire going in the hearth of her tower, and slightly more recently, Innocentia had gotten burned by Littlestar, and ended up in Funk's den. Not to mention the scarred feline also had burn scars rippling up her flanks from Vera's time. To say she attracted fire, one way or other, would probably be accurate. "The Regime's wet enough that it'll take skill, and probably won't destroy the territory. Probably." If it did, well, the Proxy didn't sound as concerned as her aunt Shule probably would be.
The golden tabby she cat's blue eyes were wide and fascinated. She knew the power of fire, and to be able to set fires sounded exciting. So following alongside Senescence Elyon resembled an excited trainee rather than the Proxy who had gone and struck SpringClan and caused several deaths in the league and in SpringClan.
"That's right!" Elyon said nodding enthusiastically. "Because when everything's dry it burns easily, that's when there's a high risk of forest fires." She meowed. "So to burn stuff when its wet is a lot harder." Her tail waved behind her. "That being said what's the best way to start a fire when it's wet? What will we use?" She asked eagerly.

Sen pulled off the backpack and set it on the ground, unraveling the top and pulling out an array of items. Matches, a lighter, flint and steel, a few small twigs, and a piece of cloth that was little more than a rag at this point. "Exactly. Starting a fire when things are wet is especially difficult. The wood first needs to dry before it'll catch, and the steam can help inhibit a fire from starting." She sat back. "What do you think should be done first?"
Elyon hummed thinking it over. "Well you just said the wood needs to dry, do we have something that can make it very dry?" She asked considering the things that Sen had pulled out. Trying to parse what they did just by looking at them.
