Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The feline looked down at the animal at her paws. Its abdominal cavity had been neatly carved open, let the creature itself still twitched with life. This was one of the more gruesome experiments of the feline, and it was one of the few that she had decided not to do in her own lab. This was in part due to the fact that she had set a trap for the animal at her feet in an area of the territory where few cats went, deep into the darkness. It made no sense to lug the rabbit all the way back to her hollow. It would have died and she would have been disappointed. Instead, she was able to simply stun it from its position in her trap, which led to this exact moment.
"Which body part shall we take out today, hmm?" she murmured to herself, unaware someone was near her.

"Well at least the poor creature isn't me."
Meowed a dark bangle behind her. He was surprised she had not heard as his lame leg caused limping on good days and merely dragged on the worst days. He looked tired with his ears drooping and little to no pep in his step.

Her ears pricked immediately at the voice, and her head snapped in the direction from which it came. "Ah, Daedric," she meowed, her voice as expressionless as it normally was. "I am surprised you were able to make it this far from camp." There was no harshness behind her words. They simply formed an observation that was intriguing to her.
"Hilo would have said the same thing," she hummed after a moment. It had only been recently that the clan learned that she had selected Hilo as her mate. "He would have been just as correct in the assertion as you are. Come. Since you are here already, you may as well join me and make yourself useful."

He ignored her statement of the obvious. Choosing himself not to take it as a jab at his usefulness in general. It had been a long time since she was so young and found him caught in a bear trap. Though the events surrounding that day were fuzzy. At her invitation he pulled himself to her side and looked at her handy work. As a primal instinct cat who had witnessed not only his own kills but his mothers as well he was not shaken by the scene.
"I hunted yesturday. With Elleth."

"And how did that go?" she asked, only half of her attention given to the tom. "Were you able to move enough to catch anything?" Part of her doubted that the question was even worth asking, but she supposed she could give the feline the benefit of the doubt, perhaps.
She glanced back to the creature as it twitched. Another inscision of the rabbit's stomach would kill it, but she wasn't interested in such mercies. How long would it cling to life before it gave up?

"Well I was able to stalk it without giving myself away for a time." He watched her taunting of the creature and wondered if it would have begged for death if it could talk. Had it given up om cries of pain or had she ripped its vocal cords out or drugged it? He glanced at his relative. No not drugging. She would never give the creature a dulled end.
"I wasnt able to pounce though," he continued. Though he wondered why he had told her. He could have saved the words knowing she knew he hadnt actually caught anything. "Elleth was waiting to catch it when it darted."
