Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Ever since the whole Shadow Era debacle, this tortoiseshell she-cat had laid low. Odds were she was marked as a traitor or something, not that the League could really even have those. It wasn't like she couldn't defend herself, no, it was more that she didn't want to defend herself. The Shadow Era had been a good idea but it was flawed from the beginning. It wouldn't and couldn't succeed. Disasters only bring families closer, strengthening the very traditions she wanted to change. As soon as she saw the makeshift SwiftClan camp come into sight, her heart fluttered, a tear even teased at the corner of her eye. This. This was something new. It could be a utopia.
The tortoiseshell she-cat's ear twitched when she sensed a cat behind her and she turned to face her company, her sunny hazel eyes warm and friendly, although her smile was just slightly Pan Am, "Yeah... I'd like to join. You call yourselves SwiftClan, right?"
This was his first time facing down an intruder. He licked his lips with a dry tongue as he crept up behind her. Was she going to attack him on sight? He heard some cats did that, especially the clan ones when you were in their territory. But they weren't in her territory, they were in the unclaimed lands, most far from the SwiftClan camp. He shifted from paw to paw. Did that mean he was supposed to attack? No - no, he'd been told anyone could join if they wanted, so he had to ask that first. And if she wasn't here to join, was he supposed to drive her off or let her continue on? Heathersong must have told him a hundred times, and yet, he wasn't sure.
Then she turned around. Luckypaw stood up straight immediately, his soft tan fur flaring. Look fierce, not scared, he reminded himself, wishing he was just a little bit scarier looking. "That's right! This is SwiftClan." He spread his stance, legs stiff and squinting warily. "You really just want to join? 'Cuz you're allowed to do that. Unless you're lying."
"Oh, and you are just so cute! Such a beautiful sandy coat. It reminds me of my favorite beaches back when WaterClan still had water," The tortoiseshell she-cat purred as she padded right up to Luckypaw. She was the picture of confidence. Head held high, tail in the air, her shoulders were relaxed and an easy smile rested on her face. If one did not know better they would assume this was her territory and Luckypaw was the intruder, "My name is Yuccablossom, what is yours?"
(So Yucca is going to be in Swift for a little while, find out Zephyr is not here, then leave for DayClan. But I still want to roleplay her meeting from Swift cats :3)
WaterClan? Luckypaw knew that name. He had never lived in the clan, but he was born in their territory after the clan was left, and he had heard a few stories about their heritage. After a moment of hesitation, he continued to force his mouth into a scowl, but he was a little less on guard than before.
"Luckypaw, but you didn't answer my question, so you have to do that before I answer yours."
