Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lostpaw crept into the snowy dark lands of the Regime, he had been hoping to come at night, but the walk had been further than he thought. He was carried into the Regime's territory by a hawk last time. Now that he had to make the trip himself he was realizing just how long it was. Tired and his breaths ragged he lied comfortably in the snow, happy to get some relief from the sweat he had worked up. He had grown considerably large even for apprentice standards. His once fluffy kitten body now looked more muscular, like a snow leopard on the prowl. His silver white fur glimmered bright as starlight, he almost seemed to blend seamlessly into the environment around him. He let out a huff of cold air, but felt a bit happy to finally be getting his revenge. Arei had bullied and nearly killed him when he was a kit until he yielded his future services to her. But now that he was older and stronger he was ready to meet up at the assigned date and time and beat the living heck out of her. At least that seemed to be the only appropriate thing to do, after all he was pretty tired and he didn't walk all the way here to play nice.

Arei, of course, wasn't about to miss this. At the same time, she wasn't going without backup either. Somehow, she'd managed to drag Cadet Breasal along, and well, the young Jules-tyke was around here somewhere, with a mossball stuffed in his mouth to keep him from whining. For the moment, however, both were out of sight as she stepped out to grin at Lostpaw, her expression particularly fierce, as if she knew he couldn't do anything to her, no matter how much he wanted to. She was, in a way, a particularly temperamental princess, one who didn't settle for anything less than what she wanted, even if her grandmother wasn't quite so nonchalant about her attitude as her parents.
"Look at us, all grown up," Lostpaw said tauntingly as Arei stepped into view as he boldly approached her, "So is this as grand of a reunion as you were imagining it or did you expect me trembling at your paws? Anyways what were you hoping to get from this, the little IOU thing was a big vague," He shrugged, still not catching wind of the other scents that had yet to travel in the air towards him.

If Arei was intimidated, she certainly didn't look it one bit. The mostly white she-cat's amber gaze narrowed as she smirked. "That's for me to know, and you not to question, isn't it?" She replied, leaning forward as she offered a delicate and dangerous giggle to go with her words. "How does eternal servitude sound. You seem like you'd make a good lackey, don't you think?" The Regime she-cat exuded complete comfortability and assurance in herself. Then again, she'd nearly gotten Lostpaw killed last time they'd met, so why should she have any reason to fear. She had her backup. Here, she was as close to royalty as they came. Him? He was nothing, nothing at all.
"Aw that's real cute, I bet you could picture me growing up big and strong making you untouchable cause it would be my broken face taking all the hits, huh?" Lostpaw said as soothing as a lullaby, "But I'm gonna pass on that," He said, his massive paw grabbing her face in his claws, "You hurt me once, but I'll hurt you twice as bad," His claws bared down into her skin, tighter now and ripping further into her, "Plus how was your little plan ever going to work? I'm in DayClan, you're here, c'mon, I'd literally have to move in to protect you and even now you forgot the fact that you don't currently have a guard, you're helpless." He said, allowing the moment to sink in, the look on her face, the way the earth seemed to slowly move around them, the blood rolling down his claws. He smirked, it was his turn to hurt her now.

"It's a good thing I'm not alone then." Her tail twitched as a vicious grin overtook her features, heartbeats before Mercenary Cadet Breasal leaped out, needing no further prompting than seeing the kit in Lostpaw's grasp to act.
The Cadet's head hurt, and she was rather dizzy as she moved, causing her to move in a strange way that wasn't immediately able to be understood. All the same, the older she-cat careened right into the apprentice, and Arei-tyke took that moment to curl up and kick her legs into his chest, forcing herself out of his grasp. Sure, she could feel the claws sink into the sides of her cheeks, and he would pay dearly for that, but she could address that bit later.
Jules-tyke was the smallest one there, and really, he shouldn't be there at all, but he did crumble real easily under Arei-tyke's command. So, here he was, for what reason, he wasn't sure, but he took a few experimental steps out, then another few, and suddenly he was waltzing forth with a bravado he didn't exactly possess in reality. "Poor bloke never stood a chance, did he? Bet you're pretty chuffed, eh, Arei?" Hey, that rhymed, the British accented kit noted.
Lostpaw turned in time to see a cadet hurdling at him, expertly evading any ability of his to predict where she was going to launch at him. He tumbled through the snow twice before feeling Cadet Breasel on top of him. Immediately he used about the only advantage he had, which was his size and threw Cadet Breasel off of himself. He snarled at Arei-tyke knowing the best action was to run, but these were two kits and one... Okay one cadet mercenary in training while he was as newly made as they came. Lostpaw snarled at Arei-tyke, but turned tail and ran the other way. He was prepared to teach a kit a lesson, not an older more experienced apprentice than himself. Luckily his snow bengal building was helping him quite a bit in the snow, but while he was a DayClan cat he didn't have DayClan blood and he wasn't trained yet to have long speed endurance which would have helped him about now. In fact he hadn't really left the nursery at all much which meant this was really his first time running while also having hiked from DayClan to the Regime, he was already tired, but his claws were out.

Breasal wasn't about to waste time, and sprinted after Lostpaw. Kyros' daughter, though not nearly so large as either her father or grandfather, had long legs in her own right. Of course, this was mitigated by the fact that she was in a near constant state of pain due to migraines and dizziness that meant the advantages of her natural stature weren't things to boast about. So really, the only advantages they had were the fact that she likely had a bit more endurance than the younger apprentice in this current moment, not to mention three cats to one, though two kits versus and apprentice wasn't much to boast about..
Jules-tyke would have said something more, but all the young tom really had the chance to do was let out a loud "OW!" as Arei-tyke dug her claws into his scruff and threw him forward into the snow, urging him forward. "What was that for!?"
"Just move!" Arei-tyke didn't offer much more explanation than that, and the pair of them bolted after where the older cats had gone, though it was unlikely they'd simply be able to catch up... There had to be a better way? But that would mean gauging which way he'd take in the tunnels, or being lucky enough to have him fall in some. Assuming Breasal didn't catch up to him soon, of course.
Lostpaw did well because his large paws naturally aided him well through the thick snow and his snow bengal pelt made him blend into the scenery so well it was difficult for anyone to precisely tackle him. However the moment he slipped pas Renegade Regime and into the old survival clans land he immediately hit the muck and felt remarkably slower. However it was worse than that, it was quick sand. But since he was still so close to the cold biome of Renegade Regime that it only trapped his paws and wasn't sinking him down. Perfect. There were no clans around for him to get help from, he was stuck, and on top of that Arei-tyke had an actually pretty good gang supporting her, but currently it was at his expense. He let out a breath of air that blew the fur out of his eyes as he waited for the apprentice to catch up, "Whatever she's giving you I'll double it if you let me out. If it's a friendship, I promise I'll be a better friend than her."
"Unfortunately, it's a family matter." Breasal's expression was almost bitter. Did she care about this particular tom? No, not at all. But Arei-tyke had asked for her help, and she'd agreed. She didn't intend to go back on that. "So you're out of luck."
Arei-tyke and Jules-tyke weren't too far behind. They had to slow some, because they were still young, even seemingly endless energy had it's limits, and they were tunnel cats, not runners. Eventually, though, they did catch up. With Jules-tyke dramatically falling down and breathing hard when they arrived, waving her on the last few steps without him, though she hadn't actually stopped for him anyway.
"Seems like you're in a bit of a... sticky situation." Arei commented viciously, flashing a smile.
"Wow, so you have to deal with that yappy voice since she was born. Man, and this whole time I thought I was the victim, but it's actually you," Lostpaw said. His voice dripping with sarcasm with each word, but even if he was screaming for help it would still come off sarcastic, it was the nature tone of his voice. No one could tell if he was trying to be nice or cruel.
Lostpaw looked up at Arei-tyke as she approached, "I mean, we're close in age and all, but you're still a kitten, kitten face. So I guess whatever you have planned let's just get this over with," He said, rolling his ice blue eyes.

"How about I make this real simple? You do everything I say, or I kill you? And right now, you're gonna be joining the Regime. You're right, what am I gonna do with someone who isn't around? Guess you're stuck with me." Arei mused, giving a smile that was all cruelty, not a single shred of nicety to it.
Breasal, perhaps would have cared a bit more for her cousin's attitude, but to be honest, the headache she was suffering really just made her more inclined to do whatever it took to shut Lostpaw up and get this over with. Her eyes were squinted, only half paying attention as pain throbbed through her skull.
