Kaisra wasn't guarding her mother today. Generally, this meant she'd be in charge of keeping Chaman Ignatius safe... but she'd managed to circumvent that as well, under the claim of spending time with Gossamer and her kits. It wasn't exactly a lie.. she'd spent the morning with them, after all, but she did want a few minutes of freedom. Or a few hours. As it so happened, she made her way above ground, looking for someone to cause trouble with.
Despite the warming season, the Regime's territory was still blanketed in snow. It was cold, and the snow didn't show any signs of melting anytime soon. A few wayward flakes drifted down around the Sentinel as she trotted across the land. She was filling out again. Then again, with Shule ordering that all the Regime should know the basics of hunting and practice or hunt for at least an hour a day no matter the rank, prey had been coming it more frequently. It wasn't the Regime way, no, but if they were to survive, it was a necessity.
She happened upon Arcadia almost by accident, lost in thought for a moment, though the moment she spotted the young cadet, a mischievous smile wrote itself across the Eerie's face. "Hey, you!" She called, egyptian blue eyes sparkling as she bounded over.

The earth-colored she-cat waved her tail in silent greeting, not taking her gaze from the ground in front of her. Though it was blanketed in snow and still as death, the cadet's ears flicked forwards, following her prey underground. After a long moment, the ground began to move, and dirt grew in a pile in the vole's wake. Eyes glittering, she pounced, needle-sharp claws digging into the ground with trained efficiency as she pulled out a fat brown vole. With a swift bite to the neck, the scout cadet killed her prey and dropped it at her paws, forgotten.
"Hi Kaisra," she mewed with a curious look, wondering what brought the Sentinel down on her. She hadn't threatened the Commander or Chaman recently, at least that she could remember. Her posture was relaxed, but her eyes lost their triumphant glow and became more guarded. "To what do I owe this pleasure?"

"You owe it to whatever forces of chaos exist, because if you're done hunting, I need a partner in crime." The tick furred feline answered, her tone more light and carefree than truly dangerous, though with an Eerie, you could never really know, could you? Especially when Kaisra had been raised by Glowstar, and partially in the cult known as SunClan, she was a strange cat to grace the tunnels, even though she'd been born in them. "Come on, you can't say no to an opportunity like this."

"Crime? I never commit crimes," she purred with a silky smile. Swiping a few pawfuls of dirt over her prey, she gave Kaisra a strange look before breaking into a toothy grin. "I don't think I can say no, even if I wanted to. It's not every day a Sentinel requests a partner in crime. I'm afraid I might never be seen again if I dare reject your offer." Striding a few fox-lengths ahead, she turned her face up at the warm sun, ignoring the bite of the cold new-leaf air and relishing the way it felt like, just for a moment, she was soaring high above. "What did you have in mind?"
"You might never be seen again, even if you do join me." Kaisra answered easily, giving a rather cheeky smile that suggested she was mostly joking. Mostly. "As for what we're doing, guess you'll jsut have to wait and see. What's the point in spoiling the fun of the surprise?"
Who didn't like surprises? Her mother would probably be one of the cats to say such a thing, thinking about it. But did Kaisra care? Oh, not too much. The Regime needed to relax and unwind their tails a bit. Discipline this and obedience that, they needed a little levity to cut through it all sometimes.

"Then I have to say yes, huh?" Cadet Arcadia's expression seemed to grow brighter for a moment, the heavy cloud of fatigue clinging to her lifting briefly. Her training and extra hunting with the other cadets drained her like nothing else, but it was her burden to bear in silence, for if anyone else knew about it, she would be done for. There no punishment she could expect except corporal punishment if she was lucky, or banishment. "Then lead the way, Kaisra," she mewed, dipping her head respectfully. She knew she wouldn't get any more out of the sentinel anyway, so pushing was pointless.

"Gladly." Kaisra wasted no time at all in continuing on, though it was quickly clear she wasn't headed anywhere on the territory, and soon enough they were stepping over the border and traveling beyond, as snow turned to spring grasses and a damp breeze that smelled of coming rains. Not long after, a fine drizzle fell, making it hard to really scent what was coming next, until eventually the sounds of the city began to reach their ears, muffled at first, and then growing stronger, until they were in the thick of it. The stench of monsters, murmurs of twolegs as they went about their day, sounds and scents that were overwhelming if unused to it.

Cadet Arcadia found herself feeling a little out of her depth at the sudden change in scenery, having never left the natural haven of the forest. The city's noise was loud and grating on her sensitive ears, and she found that the ground beneath her paws seemed to grow hard as a rock and rough as gravel. "What exactly are we doing here?" she asked hesitantly, not wanting to give Kaisra any idea that she might be uncomfortable.
