Kaisra spent a lot of time around her mother now that she was Commander. And she needed a break. She loved dirt mom Shule, she really did. But even if the ebony feline had loosened up some, she was still far too uptight for the chaotic Sentinel. Luckily, she'd gotten permission for a day off.
She still couldn't believe Gossamer Alessandra had gambled away her leadership, but she'd already scolded the former Commander for it, she shook her head now with a soft laugh. It seemed Goss had lost her leadership in the same way she'd earned it. Oh well. Though she did lament not quite being able to cause as much trouble with Goss at her side. Maybe she'd have to go find her. Or visit their kits. Things were a whirlwind, she hadn't gone to see them today. Hopefully they weren't causing too much trouble, especially seeing as how Shule wouldn't not be so lax if they did.
"And what is the pretty flower Kaisra up to?" He purred as he fell into step with her, tossing her a crooked charming smile that was boyish in nature and far from truly representative of the tom. Having never actually spoken to the sentinel before he opened up the conversation with flattery, he found that it was always a rather safe first step. Besides, their reaction always told him a lot about how he should step further into their acquaintance. "I heard rumor you have the day off, and of-course after hearing this I just had to find out your plans for the day." Rolling his shoulders he added a little extra perk into his step. "You see, I find myself painfully curious about what a sentinel does on their day off. Of-course I suppose it depends on whose taking the day off but well, regardless here I am."

"Well, that's a pleasant change. Dirt mom usually finds me annoying more than anything else." Kaisra mused, flashing a sort of smile back at Volontaire. She didn't know him well either, and she couldn't say she wasn't the slightest bit curious about whoever her mother would pick for Superior. "And I was planning on visiting Goss and I's kits, and then, probably causing a bit of trouble afterward. Can't have our Commander getting too comfortable, now can we?" There was a chaotic energy around the Sentinel, one that didn't usually mesh with the strict militaristic style of the Regime, but if she cared, it didn't show.
"You have kits!" He crowed in delight, "I'm sure they must be little terrors!" His excitement was just continuing to climb as he thought of her and Gossamer's kits. He could honestly only picture spoiled princesses and princes with haughty glares and bold strides. It was an odd picture, and most likely incorrect as kits tended to be their own people no matter how much adults tried to influence them. They were pains like that. "Oh can I come along and meet them?" Young cats were always a hit or miss for him; Volontaire either finding them boring or intriguing and rarely anything in-between.

"Of course, I wouldn't want them to be anything less." Kaisra answered, laughing at his comment about them being terrors. They absolutely were, but she loved them all the same. Arei-tyke in particular was pretty much an exact image of what the tom seemed to think of. She was definitely the sort to believe she owned the world and no one could stop her. "Sure, come on. We'll see who's out and about to cause trouble today." The Sentinel flashed a smile that was as mischievous as any playful kit. Maybe it didn't help her litter that their mothers clearly encouraged the chaos.
