Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
As Littlestar's fire burned brighter and brighter, Bloodyrondo shrunk lower and lower to the ground. His fluffy pale orange stomach fur brushed against the grass. He knew that the High Priestess had been through hell and back, of course, SunClan was a rumor mill, but he had never heard it from her mouth. Even now he still had a hard time sympathizing with her. It was probably because he did not have a single experience in his life of which he could compare to hers. So yeah, he was immature, so what? It was her fault. She was supposed to be the one training him. Though, for whatever reason, be it fear or just common sense, Bloodyrondo kept such thoughts to himself. He did not have the energy to fight anymore.
When Littlestar pressed her head against his, the Priest Promised's tensed up, his tail lashed, his ears pinned to the back of his head. A ghost of a growl that was sure to turn into a yowl rose in the back of his throat as the simple instinct of fight or flight started to take over all of his senses. When he replied, it was a whisper, but sharp as a knife, "I didn't realize you had such little faith in me." That was a true, raw statement, there was no denying how betrayed Bloodyrondo sounded when he uttered those words. He would have been much better off leaving it at that but instead he continued, "Do you always doubt the will of the Sun God?"
Honeystormracer Roble stepped out of the way as yet another one of Honeysplash's mistresses bound toward the flame-point tom and found this the perfect opportunity to slip away. Hey mouthed 'Sorry, buddy' and slipped back toward the path that he knew the she-cats would have taken when they were released. He knew that it was silly, that Tinypaw wouldn't and, in fact, couldn't be part of this, but something deep within him drove him forward. There were too many scents, too many perfumes, heck, even too many pawprints, he had no hope of tracking her down through normal means. So he was shocked when he saw what he believed to be a familiar silver tabby pelt flash through the undergrowth like a bolt of lightning. A smile spread across his face and the big brown tom wasted no time giving chase, "Tinypaw!" he called out to his target, "Wait up!"

strawberrycupidracerJadie The three toms didn't last long, though Foxbane had mostly included them in order to force Tinypaw to run. It was Bluebell they'd have to watch out for. The she-cat was already well ahead of the pair, and now, running from Roble. She'd disguised her scent earlier by rubbing herself in a bit of the moss from Tinypaw's nest. All she had to do was get Roble to claim hert? Easy enough. Hopefully. Famous last words, right?
"Okay, enough!" It wasn't the Sun God's voice that broke into Littlestar and Bloodyrondo's argument, though the fox-furred feline had seen him hiding nearby and dared to roll her eyes, so much so she was surprised her eyes weren't in the back of her head. Of course the deity was too wimpy to interfere in an actual argument. She pushed that thought toward the celestial being too, and despite the warming of her pelt, she didn't regret it. If he hadn't killed her yet, she probably had to do a lot, lot more before he actually would. Besides, it wasn't like she was wrong. Ideally, she wouldn't be here, she's be making sure that Roble and Tinypaw got together, but no, apparently an ex-Priestess work was never done. At least this fit her Senator job description. "Bloodyrondo, if you have even an ounce of intellect in that beyond arrogant brain of yours, you will shut your mouth, or you won't live for the next five minutes." Her tone was dark, and her expression even more so.
"Littlestar, you will stand down, don't think that warning does not apply to you either. You will both shut up and listen, and if you interrupt me, so help me Sun God, I will make both your lives complete and utter HELL, if I don't kill the both of you first." She didn't give them a chance to speak before she continued, glaring the pair of them down with ease. Foxbane didn't look like a Senator in this moment, she wielded the authority she'd given up as though she'd always possessed it, and simply allowed it to fade out of kindness to the Priestess she'd raised.
"Neither of you are thinking right now. All you're doing is digging your paws in the sand, going woe is me, and being the worst leadership I've ever seen, and I was Priestess not many moons ago. You're not only setting a bad example, you're both just ready to cut, and cut, and cut at each other. If you kill each other, I'm taking back leadership, because clearly the pair of you are two spoiled children who can't handle being challenged the slightest bit. If you're just going to sit here and whine, and smack each other around, then you can go sleep in the den with the kits, because that's where you belong." There was fire in her words, and Foxbane didn't care the slightest bit for their excuses. "You two are being pathetic. If you can't actually discuss this because emotions are too high, then you turn around, walk away, and talk about this later. If you want to actually discuss like adults, then you sit, you take a deep breath, and be mature. You're adults, so act like it."

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
Littlestar's paw froze midair, just as it had been about to come crashing down on the Promised' cheek. It was only out of instinct that she hesitated, fully intending to show him exactly what it meant to insult the High Priestess. But the voice that reached her ears was enough that shatter the rage that had accumulated and built to intolerable levels. It was the voice of Foxstar, her mentor, friend, and adopted mother. Her gaze never left Bloodyrondo as the retired High Priestess spoke. Foxbanes words dripped with venom, intended not only for Bloodyrondo but her as well. Her paw trembled with rage, slowly lowering to the ground. Foxbane was all that stood between her and lashing out at the cat that cowered before her like a frightened kit, this wouldn't end here. No her anger wouldn't be soothed so easily, not this time.
"You'll regret your words"she promised, turning leaving him cowering in the grass as she disappeared into the undergrowth anger rolling off her in intense waves that could be felt long after she had gone.
With Littlestar's retreat he felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders, both literally and physically and, for once, he actually listened. Not to Littlestar, but to Foxstar. He kept his mouth shut for her entire lecture and didn't even say something smart to his mentor when she left him with a threat. That was a big step for him: He always liked to have the last word. He stayed huddled on the ground for a few more seconds before slowly rising back to nearly his full height. His celadon eyes met Foxbane's for just a moment. They looked exactly like his father, Funk's, except it was unlikely that his father's were ever quite as red and teary as his were right now. Bloodyrondo was a full grown cat, sure, but he was young and inexperienced. This was single handedly the worst moment of his entire life.
He shook his pelt a little bit, then slowly headed back toward the Ceremony Springs. Nikkohydrangea. That was who he needed right now. And he found him, fairly quickly at that, but... he was pinned to the ground... Shadowbard and him were touching noses. Nikko was smiling. Bloodyrondo felt like a shard of ice was just shoved into his heart but thankfully he was numb and hard no outward reaction. He just blinked and stood there for awhile wondering just what he had done to be cursed like this. Then he was on the move again, this time taking a roundabout way back to camp, he had one friend left that he could truly rely on and he knew exactly where to find him... TO BE CONTINUED.
"Well this could have gotten real romantic, but since we're switching to serious I will too. I love Bloodyrondo, but he'll likely never love me back and if I had a shot with him, I'd take it. Don't misunderstand our relation though, I don't have feeling towards anyone. It's not a strong distaste for cat kind, just as simple as feeling nothing. So when I tell you right now that you're my favorite person in the world, I don't say it lightly. It's why Bloody's special to me, he's one of the few too. But Bloody actually annoys me, where as you have never annoyed me once. I told you I was going to annihilate you in that boat race and you didn't miss a beat accepting my offer at a second date and daring to win. I don't think you should be mates with someone like me, because I hold you in second place and in the short time I've known you, I'd tear someone from their heart to their soul if I found that they valued you anything less than the best. You're witty, you're not afraid of new terrain, and your eyes are so adorable they make me blush and feel tingly inside. I don't have feelings towards anyone, but I do have feelings towards you, because you're not just anyone. If I were your mate I'd never let you forget how special you are despite my attraction towards Bloodyrondo. However I will repeat my honesty, if I felt i had a shot with him, I would take it. My actions may not reflect my words and that could be our down fall. Am I worth the heart ache for you? I'm not. But this is our second date so the choice is yours Shadowbard."
Everything he said rang with such an honesty it was as clear as bells. His gaze was serious, but tender and where his icy gaze was typically piercing it burned now with a passionate aura that wholeheartedly believed in Shadowbard and his worth. Every small fiber of his emotions, while small to detect were captured on Shadowbard's face. The struggle in his heart as he wanted to accept Shadowbard's offer and knew better. The way his brows furrowed in thought and the betrayal of a purr as he reached the end, wanting to say yes, but ultimately leaving the decision up to Shadowbard. There was such care and thought into every word he spoke, something he would never waste time with anyone else.
"Whatever you decide, I'll still always be around if you want me." Nikkohydrangea reminded him, his tail comfortingly resting on Shadowbard's paw, "But, please choose what will make you happy because my answer is yes only if this fulfills your desires too. I care about you too much to drag you through such emotional thorns without warning you first. So think it over first."
Shadowbard listened as Nikko spoke, waiting until he was finished to approach. He put a paw onto of his head and ruffled the fur there before pressing his nose firmly against Nikkohydrangea's with a grin on his face. Not giving the cat a second chance to tell him no "Your a silly fur-ball, know that?" he slowly back his muzzle apart but only for a moment before burying it back into the fur along his neck and breathing in his scent
"I have know about your relationship with Bloodyrondo before you did" he raised one eye playfully giving him a lick on the cheek "I went into this knowing my place, and even if you end up with him the end the moments I get to steal with you now will always be held near and dear into my heart. I want nothing but happiness for you and if the moment presents itself and you don't go for it, I'll be the first to chastise you"
"But while you wait, lets just enjoy each others company"
Nikkohydrangea looked awestruck, his gaze starry as Shadowbard pulled away from touching his nose.
"I did... Not expect that," Nikkohydrangea said with a blank stare up at him. He touched noses with Shadowbard and licked him across the cheek, "I'll enjoy your company then, like this dominant poise over me. Very attractive," He teased, "Too bad our future children don't have an epic story of you slapping me across the head with a rock. That would have been cool." He smiled, but decided to stop teasing and embrace the moment once more as he turned his head to lick at Shadowbard's paw affectionately since he was pinned and could do little else.
racerJadie Skipstep was ashamed to admit, that when Littlestar had leapt after their daughter he had been distracted by Jetclaw and Moonlitnocturne still. But when words rippled through the SunClan cats about Littlestar and Bloodyrondo confronting each other, he'd sprang to his paws. Rushing to get over to where they were.
He came to a stop eyes widening as he saw his mate, and the Priest Promised snarling at each other. Littlestar raising a paw to strike, then Foxbane's voice cut through the din, and brought the conflict to a shaky conclusion for now.
With the threat of violence over, Skipstep glanced around to try to locate Satinpaw, then he saw her being escorted off by some cats. Breathing a sigh of relief that his daughter at least was out of the conflict. He cast a stern look towards Bloodyrondo. "I recommend going and thinking hard about the path ahead." He said simply before he took off after his mate.
"Littlestar!" He called as he rushed to catch up with her.
Jetclaw gritted her teeth, "And what if I was?!" She shot back. "I liked the challenge but you know what, deep down I was looking for something more!" She spat digging her claws into the ground. "My brother's found the love of his life and they've been together for four seasons and endured much together. After watching that for so long, of course I wanted some of that for myself! And instead I got stuck with you at every instance. And all you want to do is run away! Or so you claim," She added narrowing her eyes. "Maybe I'm not the only one who's been denying something deep down!" She ground out gritting her teeth tail lashing. "Maybe what you're trying to run away from so badly is that you don't want to leave as much as you think you do, but you're just doing it to act out!"

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
Anger and rage rolled off her in waves, lava slowly flowing from a volcano consuming everything within it's path. Even Skipstep's presence wasn't enough to stop the flow of anger from surging forth. It was as useless as throwing and icecube into the flow in hopes to cool it off. The hair along her spine was raised, her tail flickering back and forth "That ungrateful, sneaky brat" she hissed under her breathe, trying not to direct her fury at her mate but each moment that passed her control seemed to be slipping from her grasp as she tried to stop herself from turning back around and putting an end to it now
"How DARE he take advantage of our absence to make a move on OUR daughter?"

Shadowbard
SunClan Warrior
The Soulful
Shadowbard laughed, the force of it knocking him off of his new mate as he had to grasp his sides they hurt so bad "It's not to late for that, but perhaps we should set a better example for them that that" he waited until Nikko had gotten to his paws, as he moved forward pressing his nose against his once again "After all if someone tries to hit one of our grandkits with a rock, they may not have a paw left"

Tinypaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Underestimated
Tinypaw emerged at the top of the hill, as Roble came into sight. Just as her mother had predicted, Roble had fallen for the trap set for him. Her heart beat fast in her chest "That dumb fur-ball" she growled, paws slowing to a stop. Was he really dumb enough to mistake this random she-cat for her? He claimed to care for her, so why couldn't he tell that this was an impostor. Part of her to just stand there and let him do it. If was dumb enough to fall for such an insane plot, then why shouldn't she just let him suffer with having this conniving she-cat as a mate. She stood by, but as they got closer her paws itched worse and worse "I don't care" she whispered as Roble called out her name. I don't care" she repeated a little louder as they got closer, but as she dropped into a crouch to pounce she couldn't hold herself back any longer
Her powerful back legs pushed her forward, leaping down upon Bluebell from above finding herself entangled with the other she-cat in a tangle of teeth and claws
Moonlitnocturne didn't keep track of how long he was dragged, grass and trees coming and going without a care. It was more seconds that felt like minutes until he was let go and he twisted himself to his feet. A pang of guilt hit him as Jetclaw spoke, not able to meet her gaze. Even for as heartless he acted, he did feel somewhat bad for her. Maybe that she kept getting stuck with someone like him, or that she really thought this would lead to anything. Opening his mouth to say something, the words left him when she started talking again.
Maybe what you're trying to run away from so badly is that you don't want to leave as much as you think you do, but you're just doing it to act out
The guilt gave way to boiling hot anger, the kind that rushed out like an erupting volcano. He couldn't control it, it hit him way too fast. "Well, I'm SORRY you won't get your FAIRYTALE ending like your BROTHER after meeting with someone for a MOON, princess. I'm afraid anything satisfactory takes longer than you can handle." His breath was hot and ragged, teeth clicked together as he came down briefly. Then... he felt it again. Puffs of air that made him laugh. And laugh and laugh and laugh. He was really here. Tears pricked the corner of his eyes, he couldn't stop till he was gasping for air. And even then, it only ignited it further. A flame needs oxygen to grow, after all. "Are you really out here claiming I'm staying here cause I want to. Like you're... yOu'rE NoT ThE OnE ThAt kEePs cHaSiNg mE DoWn aNd dRaGgInG Me bAcK. aNd iF It's nOt yOu, It'S yOuR BaSkEt cAsE Of a bRoThEr. I KnOw yOu dOn't wAnT To fLy eVeN ThOuGh yOuR WiNgS ArE ClIpPeD!!" And in a breath, "Well, fine then. Go on. Open the cage. I'll prove this is real."
Skipstep frowned, opening his mouth to say something then thought better of it. His mate didn't need rationalize what had happened, she needed a chance to burn some anger. "Why don't we go for a run?" He suggested coming up beside her. "Burn off some of the feelings and then sit and talk. We do need to figure out what we're going to do about this," Skipstep said. "But best we take the edge off the emotions first, I know it's helped me," He offered to his mate.
He didn't like Bloodyrondo chasing after Satinpaw either. But he couldn't entirely begrudge the promised. After all. Once upon a time Skipstep had been the one falling head over tail with a newly named Littlebird when she was still a few moons shy of being warrior aged herself. Granted Skipstep had taken time to court Littlebird, hanging around close to her to protect the young cat he'd found himself in love with. But he'd also been guarding her and his heart as he went. The loss of Hazelcascade still fairly fresh at the time, and the fear of losing Littlebird kept him distant.
But had he not had that limitation, would he have been just like Bloodyrondo? Chasing after a cat not quite old enough to make that decision?
SKipstep shook his head. First things first, Littlestar needed him. She'd already been cut down by Foxbane, now she needed to get that anger out.
"Or we could go hunt, or patrol, maybe if we find some interlopers we can give them a good run off of the territory," Skipstep said with a light purr.
Jetclaw's ears had flattened, the she cat releasing him and letting him drop before she rounded on him, tail lashing. "You think I don't know that things take time?!" She snapped. "You think I expected to be mates already with you?! Of course I knew it would take time you mousebrain! This was supposed to be the start of something!"
She sighed heavily sitting down glowering at him. "Everyone here doesn't hate you. I hate that you keep running away, you were chosen by the Sun God, you have a lot you can give SunClan and you keep running away. Do you want to know the really stupid thing? I chased after you because after you got in, and I saw you around, I was curious. Call it attraction, call it just taking notice of a face I didn't know at the time. And then you turn on us during the whole flood situation. I keep bringing you back because the Sun God picked you for a reason. You caught my eye for a reason. And all you've shown is that you don't want to be here. So you know what?! Fine! Leave! Leave then if this place is so horrible. If all you want to give this clan is just your back then fine!" She turned away and planted herself on the ground. "We're not far from the border now, so go off, be free, be rid of the burden of being one of us!"
Honeystormracer Roble was shocked to see a doppelgänger appear out of thin and descend upon who he thought was Tinypaw like a little tornado. Claws gleaming in the setting sun, tufts of fur freed from their origin, feral hisses and tumbling torsos. To the brown-and-white tom it looked like his love had grown a second head but occasionally he could see the glint of blue eyes which was proof enough that they were not one of the same. But... how could he put a stop to this? He wasn't even sure which cat was attacking and which one was defending. Either way he was pretty sure Tinypaw would take any opportunity she got to shred him so he just hovered awkwardly over the two she-cats with concern in his eyes, "Ladies, please... knock it off! I mean, there's clearly some confusion here, but it's not going to get anywhere if you don't start talking! Why are you even fighting anyway?!"

(uh mild suicide warning)
The start. Even though it felt like the end? Like it was all meaningless. Why would she even say that? She kept getting paired up with him, the villain of Sunclan who would never pledge themselves to the cult's way, and it was supposed to be the start. Moonlitnocturne couldn't believe it, not his ears that ran so hot.
And the more she talked, the more his head swam. Swimming in magma, in confusion. Even the anger in him flickered. Mentally, the words twisted. There was nothing to see, except getting tired of him. There was nothing to chase but a shadow. There was no attraction, it was a delusion. There was no reason. There couldn't be. He was so... unloved. He was a cute face and a sharp set of claws and nothing more. There's no way. No way. No way. No way. He refused. Everyone in his stupid meaningless life, anyone he cared about, kept getting sucked into this stupid cult. And he couldn't break them out, no matter how much he wanted to. It never worked. It never would. He gave up.
So, the only thing he could think to do was turn around. "Then forget me and move on. That's how it should be." Moonlit took off, not even letting himself hear a response. Not letting that empty cavity in his chest ache. Tears pricked his eyes, but he ran. He wanted this to be the last time, last time he saw this place. How little he knew.
"Roble, help!" The voice of one of the two called, it's tone a mimicry of Tinypaw's own. Close enough, but not quite there, then again, right now, it was all but impossible to tell one from the other save for the occasional glint of an eye. Bluebell refused to lose! Did she care about this tom at all? No. But Foxstar would make good on her promise, she was sure, and so she had no problems with fighting this mere apprentice when things came down to it. Though, clearly, Tinypaw didn't seem the slightest bit inclined to let up anytime soon.

Tinypaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Underestimated
Tinypaw growled "IF YOUR MOUSEBRAINED ENOUGH TO FALL FOR THIS ROBLE THEN I'LL CLAW OFF YOUR EARS MYSELF" she yelled over the begging an d pleading of Bluebell. Luckily it seemed like the she-cat may look like her, but had no clue on who she was. She would never have begged Roble for help... Tinypaw, suddenly pushed her away racing over to where Roble stood "Come on Mousebrain, get your feet moving and get out of here while I hold her off"
racerHoneystorm Roble could tell that the voice was not quite right but it wasn't like he could ignore any she-cat who asked him for help, "Uhh..." He began to ease his way toward the fighting but thankfully one of them broke away and started chastising him. Oh yeah, that was was Tinypaw, as if her golden eyes was not proof enough. He pinned his ears to the back of his head when she suggested he flee while she stayed behind to defend, "Yeah, I'm not going to just run away and leave you here on your own. But I know you won't listen to me so I guess this means drastic measures... please forgive me for this later." With that, the large brown tom grabbed Tinypaw by the scruff and then threw her up onto his back. This mode of transportation was reserved strictly for kits but Tinypaw was unusually small while Roble was unusually large. It was still awkward but it would work... probably...? He grinned like a fool, not that she could see it, and said, "It's a good thing you're so small." He then belted toward SunClan camp as fast as he could muster, although it was anyone's guess whether or not that other she-cat would be able to catch up...
(feel free to trip him, attack him, etc whatever you guys want to do xD he doesn't have to get far)

To be quite honest, Bluebell found the situation hysterical. She wouldn't lose, she wanted her well earned prize. Even so, she did find it kinda funny, everything that was going on. Tinypaw didn't even seem to like this tom that much, but she liked him too much to give him away to someone else. The irony. As he ran, she pelted after him, pushing herself into a leaping tackle that sent the three of them rolling in a tangle of limbs and tails.
