Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
"All right Cupid" Littlestar grinned with a wink "It's time for you to start your chase. Go forth and may the Sun God give you good fortune" the gray she-cats tail swept indicating that he was free to go forth and find his love

Moonlitnocturne is on mobile and tried to keep the grin from crawling onto his face as little star painted the swans on his shoulder. He never cared for the body paint, but tolerated it for having one thing over Bloody. The jerk. He thanked Littlestar with a hint of smugness as the she cats ran off. Technically he was supposed to go after them in a minute but he wasn’t really interested in anyone present. So, when given the signal, he walked at a far too leisurely pace
At Littlestar's shout Jetclaw took off at a run. After all the shenanigans that had ensued during the romance festival, including her sadly taking ill after some events and putting her out for a bit the tan and black she cat wanted to make a good show at this, the finale. So the she cat took off at a run when the she cats were released.
She took off stretching her legs in long strides as she galloped across the ground.
Bloodyrondo's pale green eyes smoldered while he watched his brother leisurely start the traditional race, "What a pathetic cupid, I bet I'll get back to camp with my mate before he does, and he even has a headstart!"
Jetclaw's ear swiveled back at the mention of a 'pathetic cupid' the she cat turning back, eyes narrowing when what did she see? But Moonlitnocturne, leisurely strolling along. After earning the mark of cupid no less! Snarling the she cat abandoned the run turning and streaking back. "You!" She hissed, leaping and pouncing onto Moonlitnocturne. "Trying to make light of this I see!" She hissed ears pinning back as she pinned him down.
Skipstep blinked when his sister came tearing back, eyes widening surprised when she tackled Moonlitnocturne right in front of the toms lined up ready to run. "Well... wasn't expecting that."

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
"Me either" she whispered, leaning in so that only her mate could hear her. She coughed loudly trying to draw the crowds attention away but failing "Well boys, on your mark" she watched as they all tensed and got ready to give chase forgetting the scene before them "set" she wrapped her tail around skipsteps "GO"
Bloodyrondo was shocked to see Jetclaw, who he viewed more of like a cool aunt, tackle his brother. It was not only a role reversal - the tom was supposed to tackle the she-cat - but he also didn't see the pairing coming at all. Jetclaw? With MOONLIT? He was about to call out about how that shouldn't be allowed when Littlestar released the toms. This was the mate choosing ceremony. His mate choosing ceremony. Why the heck was he so hung up on his disappointment of a brother? There were times for that sort of emotion but now was not one of them!
He let out an impressive yowl and took off after where he saw Satinpaw run. He was acting like a cat about to go into battle, not at all the playful frolic this was supposed to be. If he knew his future mate at all, he was expecting her to really put him up to the test. He loved that about her, "Satinpaw!" Bloodyrondo called out when he thought he caught a glimpse of her creamy white fur.

Silverpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Poised
Silverpaw ran with her sister for a few minutes before grinning "alright sis, this is where I leave you" she called out, skidding to a stop and turning around. She ran backwards, circling into the bushes and waited on Bloodyrondo. If he wanted her sister, he was going to have to earn it. As the ran blindly ahead with only one target in mind, she lept from the bushes aiming to knock the tom off of his feet "Miss me?" she purred seductively, placing herself firmly between him and the way her sister had ran Jadie

Jetpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Sweet
Jetpaw bounded over to her mother and father after the boys had been released "MOM DAD!!! ITS SO EXCITING!!!" Her tail held high and wiggling "Aren't Satinpaw and Bloodyrondo so cute together!!! I can't believe they are getting engaged. Theyll but just like you to soon!!!" Jetclaw
Bloodyrondo really was running blindly: He hadn't even seen Silverpaw until she was literally a tail-length in front of him. He did what he could to avoid her but there was no slowing down on such short notice. He plowed into Silverpaw's side, sending the two cats twisting together in a pile. Why did this keep happening to him with cats he wasn't interested in!? The tumble ended with Bloodyrondo pinning Silverpaw but the ginger tom's paw was right on top of the she-cat's face, "UGH, Silverpaw, what are you doing out here!? Apprentices aren't allowed to participate! Get lost!"

Moonlit really didn't care. This romance festival felt like a disaster, with each thing leading him back to Jetclaw. And his ear seemed to burn at the thought. It wouldn't be so bad if she didn't keep dragging him back to camp. Stuck. Like all the others. Like him. At his brother's comment, he let out a pfft, blowing a stray fur back into place. "It's called patience, Vamp. Look it up. No point in rushing into something like this..." White ears swiveling towards the grass, he heard the rapid steps of someone... something, approaching them. "after... all." Of course, it was Jetclaw. Even as he was sliding along the ground, dust and grass getting kicked up into the air, he recognized the pressure. The same claws hugging against his skin. Of course he was making light of this, it's what he did. Besides, he'd knew Jetclaw would run and he ... really wasn't sure he wanted to run into her. Still, frustration built in the back of his jaw. "Yes, and? What're you going to do about it?"

Silverpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Poised
"Your the one not watching where your going" she growled, the clumsy oaf really had no self control. Why would her sister ever be interested in such a brute? "I thought you wanted Satinpaw?" she gently removed his paw moving her face upwards "Yet here you are with me" she purred, leaning ever closer "How about you just stay here for a little while" her was silky smooth and inviting, even though she was ready to give him a harsh slap to the muzzle should he actually try and make a move. Her back paws loosened and wrapped around his sides to pull him in closer, tempting him to just stay there in that moment Jadie
Satinpaw came to a stop and glanced over her shoulder at the sound of her name. She saw that her sister had instead left her and ran back only to get in Bloodyrondo's way. Jealously surged through her only for a moment before she shrugged if off. "Catch me if you can!" She shouted back to the fluffy orange tom. She had already made the decision that no matter what happened today he had to be the one to chase her. She wasn't going to be the one chasing him this time. With that she broke out into a rin again leaving both her sister and their priest promised behind.

"Okay, then. Mapleheart, Electricfragment, Mythosseraphim. First one to catch Tinypaw gets a prize. Whatever you want, I'll make it happen." She didn't even hesitate, barely sparing Tinypaw a glance as she turned to a silver tabby nearby. Bluebell, who at least at a glance, looked enough like Tinypaw to pass, though her eyes were mismatched ice blue and an almost black midnight blue. "Now, Bluebell, do everything you can to make Roble pin you, and it'll be worth your while, I promise."
Only then did she turn to look at her daughter, as the she-cat she'd just spoken to sprinted away, and three toms were suddenly looking at her with varying levels of interest. "I'd get moving quickly, Tinypaw. Else your tom will be engaged to someone else, and so will you."
"EW SILVERPAW STOP." Bloodyrondo hissed and pulled himself away from his soon-to-be mate's annoying sister. She and Jetpaw were both always on his case and he couldn't figure out for the life of him why. Were they jealous? Well, probably, but they would just have to deal with it, life isn't always fair and neither of them were half as cute as his favorite sister. They were still pretty cute of course... but he was about to be engaged and couldn't let himself continue to fall to temptation, "Which way did Satinpaw go? You owe me that much for putting up with you up until now without caving in your skull!"
Nikkohydrangea walked forward, his typical dead as ice gaze unreadable and devoid of emotion. He had been more okay with this when he didn't know the title of this ceremony, but since arriving he had been looking for a place to leave. However it was only after catching sight of Bloodyrondo take off that it made him hesitate, maybe he had a chance with him. His paws moved him forward at a walking pace as Bloodyrondo shot out of view and he considered a reality where he broke into a chase. Maybe he could catch him, tackle him down and they would be mates, but he also recognized that it wasn't in Bloodyrondo's dreams for such a thing to happen. He wanted a she-cat who was important and gorgeous and he wanted kits of his own. He couldn't provide any of those things, he was a useless romantic interest to him and the realization of it made him slow down as he stood at the side of a tree watching on. Unlike SunClan cats he didn't have flaming bright colors, but snow whites and blue greys so he wasn't blended enough and began heading over at this own pace to the end, he wished it wasn't so far.

Tinypaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Underestimated
Tinypaw had turned to leave, but before she had even took three steps she suddenly found the three toms blocking her path their eyes filled with longing and something much darker. A growl rumbled in her throat, gold eyes locked on to them daring them to take a single step closer claws emerging from their sheathes tail lashing "Go ahead try me" she was in a mood, the chance to dig her claws into these toms would be just what she needed to get out some her frustration that had been building for moons now. There were cats who were not participating still watching, surely they would break up the fight. But just as she crouched down to fight, the silver streak of Bluebell went flying by her. She moved to follow, only to have one of he toms step in path. She glared at Foxstar, spinning and darting back through the crowd trying to loose the three mousebrains who now would stop at nothing to catch her Honeystorm

Silverpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Poised
Silverpaw giggled, her tail flicking over and tickling his soft underbelly lightly "alright, alright, you pass" she purred as he pulled away, slowly getting to her paws. "After that whole thing with Jetpaw, I had to make sure that you were actually into my sister. I swear if you break her heart I will break you" she was dead serious, her eyes narrowing to make sure that he got the point "Instead of trying to get answers out of me you best get a move on and find her. My sis isn't the type of cat to sit around waiting. Shes probably back at camp by now" she teased Jadie
Well, that wasn't a very direct answer, but he was pretty sure that by the end of Silverpaw's statement he heard Satinpaw's call from the south. It made sense. Camp was that way. "Very funny, Silverpaw, I'd like to see you try." Bloodyrondo said as he pulled away from her fully. He took off before she had a chance to reply. His pace was just a little bit slower, though, he wasn't fixing to wast etime in another tumble, "Satinpaw!" He called out again, hoping she would reply even though he wasn't sure she would even if she had heard him. Bloodyrondo wasn't that great at tracking but he thought he had picked out Satinpaw's sweet scent. He just prayed it wasn't another one of her sisters trying to mess with him...

Shadowbard
SunClan Warrior
The Soulful
Shadowbard had been watching, debating on if he should approach niko.. But seeing him with Bloodyrondo once again made his heart sink. He knew the tom like the Priest Promised, and who was he to stand in the way of that? They blue-grey tom slunk around in the crowd until suddenly Nikkohydrangea took off running. That was it, he had to go after him. He gave chase, never letting the tom out of his sight until Nikkohydrangea came to a stop beside the tree. He slowed walking up to him "Nikkohydrangea, I think you are forgetting something..." he whispered in his ear, a small smile on his face "You lost that boat race, you owe me a better fight than this"
