Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
There were intruders in the tunnels, intruders that were under instruction to destroy. They were not given the same instructions as their last battle. With EarthClan, the full might of BrookClan was used. This meant that there had been room for diplomacy, for cats not using their full force power. This wasn't true about this attack. The BrookClan army was divided. Almost one-half of the group had to stay back with EarthClan, to guard what had already been claimed as a war crime. This meant that those were there, led by their fearless Tsar, needed to have the brutality of two cats each. There was a difference, though, in intention. Kerrigan had a reason to want to attack this group, more than jus the fact she didn't like the group. The tunnels had strategy, which meant once the Alliance had the tunnels, they would have easy access everywhere.
"Do not hold back, Comrades, for this is our destiny," she meowed, "our part in something greater." Her words were hushed in tone as to not alert the ambush, before she flicked her tail and the creatures dove into the darkest of depths.
These tunnels stretched and made like veins throughout the entire forest. Time and time again, an attempt would be made by foolish cats of the forest to claim it, but it never belonged to them. It seemed that was something sunlight-loving cats never understood. They never belonged to anyone. No one could tame the darkness, not even The Regiment itself could keep claws on its entirety. Thinking one could overcome the shadows was a mistake.
Black and white. That was all there was down underneath the soil. The deeper one went, the more stagnant the air, and the more eerie everything became. It would take a while before stalagmites appeared, rising from the ground like fingers, but the pebbles of Black Onyx were unmistakable. They lined Renegade Regime's underground border, as some of them believed they brought protection against forces of evil, and it doubled as marker in case someone went the wrong way. Getting lost wasn't uncommon even for the cat who was born and raised in the caverns.
The black gems were raw and undefined, but they lined the tunnel from one end to the other very obviously. To a forest cat, they might seem suspicious. Would they dare to cross into the unknown? Would they dare venture into uncharted territory?
All was peaceful in the tunnels or so Mars thought. He was currently in headquarters at the moment waiting for his superiors to join him for yet another discussion about the bats. So far the commander suspected nothing of what was about to happen.
"Heh, so then I was like, cinnamon? Are you crazy?" Sean laughed.
The tiny white hamster his nephew and nieces had stolen for him from a two-leg house only continued to nibble his claw as he spoke, "Oh Wiggles the third, you're the proudest moment of my life," Sean purred nuzzling up to the hamster. A hamster that the Regime would much rather eat, but he pointed out that he was an ex commander and he only asked to have a hamster in his life so for the most part people just respected that. He licked the top of the hamsters head.
"Sean, stop talking to inanimate objects," Xuxa hissed, the overly scarred she-cat was grooming her slick black fur when her nose scrunched up, "Something smells rancid."
Sean's eyes widened, "Oh my God. Oh my God, Commander Mars! Come over here! Xuxa just said something smells bad, we should all drop what we're doing and like, investigate it," He said with mock concern.
"Shut up," Xuxa mumbled, "I'm just saying that something smells off, as a spy I'm supposed to concern myself with iffy situations." She stood up fully and wandered into ones of the tunnels, looking up and down for a stray piece of prey that might be crawling about... Or dead. Those type of things happened.
Mars's ears perked when he heard Sean. He glanced over, his whiskers twitching in amusement. She did have a point though. Something smelled off...It was faint but...He frowned. "Sean, go with Xuxa to investigate." Something did smell off in the tunnels and he didn't like it. He just hoped he was being paranoid.
