It had been a couple of moons now that Reprise had been reunited with some of her siblings. She was starting to get used to Primal Instinct's ways of life, well, best she could anyway. There were many rough cats that lived here, and many things Reprise was still getting used to but she felt at home. It was strange, home seemed like some place warm and fuzzy, not cold and cruel. Yet, somehow, Reprise thrived off the cold hearted group she had stumbled upon.
Reprise had been working hard, practicing her fighting skills non-stop and hunting for the group in her free time. The other amount of time she spared talking to her siblings, in an attempt to get to know them more.
As the slithers of light faded from the dark shadows of the trees, Reprise began a slow walk back home. She'd been out all day hunting, a mouse and frog hung between her jaws. She could already hear the meows of her fellow cats as she drew nearer to the main living quarters. A smile crossed her lips, for an ex kittypet she felt pretty confident with her catch today.
She wondered what her siblings were up to, it was funny having her family live so close. It made Reprise happy but also sad, she wished she could communicate better with her siblings, it was difficult because they each had been through so much apart from each other, that the family bond was not strong. However, the grey striped Bengal was determined to keep what bond they had left.
Jazz had found a little cavern under some ruins with a pool in it. He had spent the day swimming and chasing frogs. He even came back with two frogs and a weird looking fish. It should be enough to share with Nora and maybe even his sister who seemed to be doing good hunting, but sometimes he worried she wasn’t eating enough. Regardless he could just give the rest to his brother’s kids. He wasn’t sure they were getting fed regularly. His brother’s parenting skill was questionable at best, though Jazz himself had no experience.
He entered into a crack in the church wall that was just large enough for a handful of cats. He did not like sharing a space with the whole of the league. He needed some sort of privacy. Dropping the frogs he went for the weird fish. Flopping down outside his den, he poked at the fish. It was questionable if he should eat it.
His yellow eyes peeled up as he saw Reprise walking past. “Good evening sister.” He called out before trying a bite of the fish. It wasn’t bad but he had better. Namely the large koi that just happened to be everywhere in the suburbs. Though mysterious cavern fish was not bad, definitely better than frogs. Jazz was pleased to see that his sister had caught something. Reprise seemed to be really adapting to her new life, perhaps this was a good choice for her. Not that he had any sort of power over her choices.

Reprise almost dropped the frog she had been tightly gripping between her jaws when she heard the voice of her brother from behind. She turned, a slight smile crossing her lips. "Oh geez Jazz, you almost gave me a heart attack!" she laughed, placing her catch down on the ground, and slipping down to site next to him.
Her eyes turning to the large smelly fish her brother seemed to be enjoying. Reprise wrinkled her nose. "You sure that's okay to eat?" A flash of concern crossed over the she-cat's pale green eyes. The ex kittypet was still used to the typical kittypet cuisine and frogs, fish and all such creatures the lived in Primal Instinct territory were new to her.

Jazz looked down at his fish once more. "I mean I grew up with Funk feeding me weird things, so a fish shouldn't kill me." He had eaten things for Funk in exchange for tasks. They had a mutually beneficial relationship, it worked well for them. He had never had anything like that with Reprise. He had always felt like she would judge him, she just seemed so good, so pure in heart. It just surprised him at times that she was related to him. Though it was nice to spend time with her again, it left him feeling light and dare he say joyful. Regardless of their different personalities, he would kill for her even if she might be disturbed by such an act.
