Brilliance-kun's short pelt puffed up in the chilly morning air. Her mind traced over the Nemesis' words, how they would soon leave this place for the city. She found it hard to believe. She had lived here her whole life after all, well, all that she could remember. And she was strangely nostalgic for the dilapidated place they called home for a short amount of time. Slipping through the halls of Foreign Affairs, it was surprisingly quiet for cats known to make a ruckus at any opportunity. Maybe they finally got tired. Rounding one of the corners, she was a little too close to the wall and bumped into a pedestal. The white marble rocked back and forth, astonishingly light despite it's heavy appearance. Standing up on her hind legs, she tried to steady it by pushing it on the other side.
"Come on. Come on. Please." but the vase on top ignored her pleas, rolling off the pedestal and shattering into a hundred pieces on the ground. Flinging herself back at the loud sound, Brilliance-kun's heart pounded, blood rushing to her ears in embarrassment. Still, no one really saw her. Maybe she could just walk away from this.
