Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Greycloud perched above the ground in a cherry blossom tree. The pinkness of the blossoms contrasted starkly against her dark grey pelt, making her stand out but she didn't seem to care. She playfully swatted at a bee that buzzed by her nose, careful not to get stung again. Her carefree attitude irritated some but most were used to it by now. She was outwardly friendly to everyone, including other Clan's, but that was SpringClan's nature. Friendly to everyone. Another cat appeared amongst the cherry blossoms and she watched them curiously, still too far away to make out who it was.
"You better not be playing with another bee up there, Greycloud." Came a familiar voice of the clan's medicine cat as he sat down below her. "I don't feel like treating another one of your stings"
"I wasn't intentionally playing with the bee, it just appeared in front of my nose! But I didn't get stung." She replied cheerfully. "It's such a wonderful day! Are you out collecting herbs? I can help if you want, I'm not assigned to any patrols today." she offered, sliding down from the cherry tree.
"I'm over stocked, actually, for once" he answered, watching the she-cat slide down from the tree. "And your lucky you didnt get stung. Since your so fascnicated by bees, why dont you fetch me some honey?" He joked with a raised brow.
"I thought you said you didn't want to treat any more stings?" Greycloud shot back sarcastically. "If I do that I'm going to have the whole bee hive chasing after me!"
"There's a lot of thing I would do for you, Smokecloud. But getting stung by multiple angry bee's at once isn't one of them." Greycloud responded teasingly. Even though if the medicine cat absolutely needed it she would absolutely find a way to get it.
"Am not!" Greycloud responded with a smile. Glancing up above them, sitting amongst the cherry trees was a bee hive. "I'll prove it, I'll knock the bee hive off the tree!" she stated gamely, although not looking forward to getting stung.
"Just accept that your a chicken. I don't feel like treating your stings and I don't think you want to be stung" he smirked playfully. He was in a rather good mood, usually he was grumpy. Though he liked Greycloud. She could take a joke.
Greycloud pondered for a moment, staring up at the hive. Smokecloud was right she didn't want to be stung. "Fine. A chicken I will be!" She responded with a shrug. "But what has you in such a good mood today? You're usually a grump!" She said jokingly.
He stretched, "Eh, I'm not sure. I just feel good today." He rolled onto his back and scratched it on the ground. "Am I not allowed to be in a good mood?"
"I never said that!" Greycloud responded, twitching her whiskers in amusement. "You're just always so serious all the time. It's nice to see you actually relax sometimes." she laughed. Although, Smokecloud took over when Eternalstar pushed Fawnheart out, Smokecloud's time as SpringClan's medicine cat had been fraught with nothing but hardships within the Clan and he'd even remained in the camp with Cicero's rogues. She couldn't imagine how hard that life must have been, even if for a short while.
"Well, it is nice to be free again" he admitted, sitting back up. "I haven't felt this good in a long time, let me have this" he chuckled, waving his paw in the air.
Greycloud started laughing and then paused for a second. "Free.. again? Did they actually hold you hostage?" she blurted out without thinking and instantly felt guilty. Smokecloud was in a good mood and probably didn't want to talk about or think about his time with Cicero and his rogues.
"I always look forward, never behind me" he replied, unnerved by the subject. It was in the past now. After losing his family, knowing bad memories only lived in the past is what made him get through life without them.
"If we forget the past then the past is doomed to repeat itself. I mean for StarClan's sake it may just repeat itself for the fun of it anyway!" Greycloud responded, whisker's twitching in slight amusement.
