Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Valleystar pushed through the undergrowth of the forest as her and her soldiers and trainees continued down the treacherous path of the alpine. Their destination was none other than the gathering place, one where Valleystar would make her debut as leader. She had brought a surplus of soldiers with her for her first gathering, not only to show off their immense strength, but to also let the others know 'mess with us, we dare you'.
Blue eyes alit with fire burning deep within them scanned over the area of the gathering place as members of WinterClan began to slip into the area. She took her place near the large tree that sat in the middle, and for a minute, she was delightfully surprised to find that WinterClan was the first one to arrive.
Bearshadow, Aconiteshine, Midnightdance, and Glacierpaw all took their places inside the gathering place, hushed whispers filling the area.
It was her first gathering as the Heda of Absum Lux. She hadn't made it a point to attend as General. She wasn't sure if she even wanted to attend now. It was a long trek for the pregnant leader. But if she didn't attend, her group couldn't either. Some of them, supposedly, liked the social aspect of the gatherings.
WINTERCLAN Diamondheart stood as tall as her breed allowed her next to Valleystar. This wasn't just her first gathering as Crowned, but her first gathering entirely. While she didn't know what to do really, she figured her job was just to mostly hang around with her leader. Maybe when the other clans began to emerge she would introduce herself to the other deputies- they would eventually be the next leaders, anyway. Might as well learn who she will be sharing the stage with next.
Frostpaw stuck as close to her siblings as she could. Her and brother Quartzpaw both entered the clearing not too far behind their mother. While she wasn't anxious persay, she didn't feel quite comfortable leaving the warmth her brothers side gave her.
Roaringsun was almost stalking the entire trip to the gathering place. His ears pinned to his head and tail straight down the ground he begrungingly joined the rest of his ranks in the gathering. He greatly doubted that any of the SpringClan rogues would show themselves among the clans, but one could never be too sure. He let his image drown among the quickly growing number of cats slowly showing themselves throught the large mix of oak and spruce.
FALLCLAN Thrushstar hesitated at the edge of the clearing. His nerves raised once more as he was about to step into the moonlight. With a flick of his tail to the rest of the clan, they all calmly flooded in. Not much about his clan was to be said at this Gathering, other than they were slowly recovering from the Greencough outbreak. Prey had finally returned to the lush new-leaf lands, so he did not expect much tensions between the leaders.

Summerclan Summerclan was worn. They were exhausted. Yet, they continued to trek on to the Gathering with tails held as high as they could manage. Tuskblood padded alongside the group, eyeing them just in case one fell into another hallucination. Her large paws were weary as they continued along the path that lead to the groups' gathering place. It seemed like Summerclan had just managed to recover when this sickness of the mind hit them. What would the other clans think if they noticed their tired, anxious pawsteps? Her eyes swept over her clanmates and landed on Ravenstar. She had full faith in the leader to make sure the others knew that they were still strong.
Winterclan Sprucepaw padded alongside Quartzpaw and Frostpaw, brushing up against Frostpaw as they entered the clearing. His warm gaze fell on his mother proudly before turning towards the other cats in the clearing. "Fallclan has arrived." He murmured in his sister's ear, pointing with his tail to the group that was milling in. He silently wondered how the other clans were doing after leafbare. In Winterclan, leafbare was just another moon of cold. He couldn't imagine how strange it would be to see all the snow melt away.
Frostwhisper and Meadowbreeze emerged after the apprentices, talking quietly to each other.
Absum Lux Voracity strode into the clearing after the new Heda, followed by her two children, Vok and Ver. Her icy blue eyes landed on Winterclan and she gave a contemptuous snort. She managed to spend a few moons among the clan ranks before growing mad from the order of it all. Not to mention, they were as grumpy as badgers half the time.
SUMMERCLAN Redfur paced behind the deputy, careful not to pass the great warrior. The leaf-bare was hard on his old bones, however it would be his first Gathering as a senior warrior. He padded around the clearing to find a spot far from the other cats, his gleaming yellow eyes sweeping the area. What would be shared at this Gathering? he thought to himself. There were many tensions between all clans, he knew. What would SunClan have to say? With quiet curiosity, he realized they had not arrived. He thought to speak to a few warriors when they had.
The dilute calico grey she-cat sat silently as Absum Lux arrived, and then FallClan. SummerClan was nearby, she could scent them. She kept to herself, remaining silent among the group of leaders. If nobody approached her, then she would approach nobody. Valleystar was a very strange cat who required a very peculiar taste. She was either saying something completely out of the blue, or not speaking at all.
Quartzpaw was pressed up against Frostpaw's side, keeping in rhythm with his sister as they walked. As they sat down, his eyes found that of Sprucepaw, his brother, and gave him a short nod.
This was Fawnheart's first gathering as a Fallclan warrior and she was nervous. Would she see Springclan? She knew something was going on with them. She could smell rogue drifting over the border and she wondered if they were going to be here. She padded in elegantly, her cream fur illuminating in the moonlight and her amber eyes sparkled.
Summerclan
Pebblefur followed the deputy to the gathering place. Her calico fur dancing as she walked, her green eyes scanning the cats.
FALLCLAN Thrushstar thought to himself without a word before seeing other leaders arrive. He still had to remind himself that he was a leader, and to socialize. Seeing as Valleystar was the only leader he recognized, he padded closer and sat a few mouse-lengths away, wrapping his tail around his white paws. He analyzed the clearing with piercing yellow eyes before speaking to the she-cat. "I don't think we've met before," he said. "I'm Thrushstar."
Wildhare had followed Fawnheart into the clearing, and padded to sit beside her. "Do you think Thrushstar will announce you've joined our clan?" he asked. He didn't know if the she-cat wanted that or not.
Valleystar let out a soft, quiet sigh as Thrushstar had taken his place among the leaders, sitting close enough to her that he was within speaking distance. Blue eyes glared ahead, finding all of her soldiers and trainees in a single sweep of her gaze. She burned where all of them sat into her mind; hopefully they wouldn't move. She was a control freak, through and through, and she constantly needed to know what everyone was doing at that exact moment. Her poor children, right? "Valleystar." She replied, keeping it short and simple.
FALLCLAN Thrushstar could sense her cold, calculating gaze across the horizon. Although she stood proudly, her stance was stiff and on edge. Fluffing out his coat in the cool night breeze, he wondered what to say next. What do leaders usually talk about? Prey? "How's.. the prey? In your area?" he asked, his spine bristling with nervousness.

SUMMERCLAN
There was no denying the exhaustion in the leaders paws. She did not look small or weak but there was a hint of the tiredness in her grey eyes that were usually filled with a calm determination. She stopped with her clan just outside of the gathering place and looked around. She had done her best to only bring cats who were not showing signs of the mind sickness, but Ravenstar herself had been lying to her warriors about being affected. The nightmares were growing worse and each morning she was waking up more and more tired, but she was afraid it might show to the other clans. The last thing Summerclan needed was the others thinking they were weak and vulnerable to attack so she drew herself up to address her warriors and the few apprentices.
"We will not talk about the mind sickness. Enjoy your time but we will leave quickly when the gathering ends." She would only report the bountiful harvest of new leaf, despite barely having enough warriors fit enough to hunt anymore.
Lupinepatch was among a lucky few who were not affected by the sickness and he glanced nervously around at his clanmates as his mother spoke. She looked tired and he could tell. They were all tired, himself included. He was working his paws off and was hoping to use this gathering as an excuse to mingle and enjoy an evening.
"Bountiful," She replied, placing her cold gaze onto Thrushstar. "This past leafbare was harsh, but with newleaf comes new beginnings, and our prey is beginning to return." Her attention left him once more, going back to the crowd of felines that had gathered.

Summerclan Tuskblood's olive gaze watched the leader for a minute before fixing the apprentices with a stern glare. "Now look, chattering chicks, if I hear one word about the sickness come out of your peepers you will be clearing Endlessthunder's den for three moons. Got it?" She questioned gruffly. With those words, she turned around to make her way across the clearing where the deputies sat and flicked each apprentice close to her on the ear with her tail humorously before lumbering off. Although she came off as rough, most of the cats in Summerclan knew she would protect those little brats with her life.
Birchpaw gave a little laugh and shook his head, but he knew the deputy was quite serious. He definitely did not want to be stuck clearing out the elder's den during his first few moons of training! The young tom's eyes lit up at the sight of so many cats. It was his first gathering as an apprentice, so it was a bit overwhelming.
Winterclan Sprucepaw pointed with his tail to the Summerclan apprentice and smiled. "It looks like we aren't the only ones a bit overwhelmed." He commented with a laugh to his siblings.

Pebblefur listened to her leader and nodded. She, too, was effected by the illness. Having nightmares and struggling to sleep though she tired her hardest to hide her exhaustion just as the rest of her clanmates were.
WINTERCLAN Frostpaws ears twitched after her brother spoke to her. She nodded at Sprucepaw and Quartzpaw both and signalled for at least one of them to stay close with the swishing of her tail. Okay, maybe she was a little anxious. It was hard enough to barely hear the chatter amongst her clan let alone even handle the overwhelming new scents that flooded her sensitive nostrils.
Diamondheart couldn't help but chuckle as she watched her leader interact with Thrushstar. So this is what the gatherings were going to be like? Definitely not what she was expecting, that was for sure. She knew Valleystar was awkward, but never imagined to find someone that could match her in awkwardness! These other clans sure will be interesting to meet. The forest cat molly made herself visible next to the larger molly she stood with, bowing her unfathombly fluffy tuxedo body in greeting to the FallClan leader. He hand't said what clan he lead, though the scent really spoke for him and his group. It was one WinterClan soldeirs were familiar with now, as their little refugee camp was close to this bording clan; just out of sight, and out of mind.
Roaringsun sighed as he watched the rest of the clans flood into the clearing. He dissapeared from his own clan, brushing against anyone he could find to rub his scent away.
FALLCLAN Spot Foxfoot smiled as he slid into the gathering behind Fawnheart. He knew she was anxious about seeing her former clan and stayed close to her for comfort. "Hey! Don't worry- remember, we're you're family now. We won't let anything happen you- I won't let anything happen to you." His amber eyes gleamed warmly at her own.
ABSUM LUX Amethyst took her place among her group. Did they even have to attend this thing? Wasn't it just for the clans? The spotted molly sighed as her golden eyes scanned for anything, anyone interesting to talk to.
Zuko-kepa and Clover-kepa filled into the clearing with the rest of the tyros, taking their places among their ranks. Clover-kepa scanned the clearing at all the clans. They looked so different from Absum Lux cats! Maybe she would be able to find a nice toy to play with among the new warriors. They won't be hard to scope out- usually they reek of anticipation and scream 'pay attention to me! I'm special because I got a new name!' Curiosity swiriling in her head, the ashy calico decided to break herself away from the group and dive deeper into the sea of strangers.
Hiddencrest trotted leisurely among the group of WinterClan cats, his pale yellow eyes surveying the gathered felines with interest. Being careful to watch his Leader, the Knight strode among the gathered felines and listened with interest to the different conversations around him. Noting that Thruststar and Valleystar conversation was nothing of threat, he gave a little flick of his ears and signaled instead on others. Moving instead towards Diamondheart, he offered her a quizzical glance and smiled nonchalantly. With a chuckle, he said, "Its pretty cool, isn't it?"
SUMMERCLAN
Wolfconstellation peeled from the undergrowth, his slate gray fur quivering with nerves as he examined the mass gathering of cats all huddled in the large clearing. He'd never experienced a Gathering before; and it was extremely vast. The different mixture of scents was enough to drive him into a confused frenzy, whiskers trembling with the effort to discern them all. What was worst was that he knew very few cats already; so the very tall and lanky tom was feeling especially alienated. He spotted the familiar pelt of Pebblefur; though he was unsure in bothering her. Hanging back, he twisted among the other cats and made to sit within a comfortable distance from it all.
Summerclan @rika Pebblefur spotted Wolfconstellation sitting alone and remembered that he hadn't been to one of these before. She confidently squeezed through all of the cats and made her way beside him. "Hey!" she purred sweetly. "How are you holding up?"
