Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Jetclawindy "Of-course you can join us." Chickpea purred to the Nigthclan apprentice, noting the hazy eyes and noting it in the back of his mind. How interesting that Nightclan would allow a blind apprentice to attend the gathering. Perhaps she was their medicine cat apprentice; he was sure one of the other young cats would ask her. "You can call me Pea, that's cute!" He laughed at Pumpkinpaw's suggestion. Amused by the tom's suggestion of a nickname. "I'm from Asbum Lux, we live in the city." He tagged on, hoping his rusty knowledge of the group would be passable. But knew the apprentices would know very little about the group anyway, nothing to worry about.
FALLCLAN Thrushstar flicked his tail in greeting to Burningstar, her cool gaze glancing to Valleystar. The tom didn't even notice that she would have been a new leader. Perhaps I should be more aware of things like that, he thought to himself with an amused purr. His gaze rested on the DayClan leader, falling into the clearing with the rest of her clan. At least he recognized their leader.
WATERCLAN Finally, her first gathering as a warior! Umbramoon padded across the clearing, her chin held high in excitement.
Jetclaw @blankslate @specklepelt Echopaw joined Skypaw with the other apprentice's. Ever since their near-death experience, Skypaw and Echopaw had been getting closer. She looked out for Skypaw, almost like a sister now. Always making sure Skypaw was safe and out of harms way. "Mind if I join as well?" The sweet apprentice asked, sitting next to Skypaw. This was her first gathering and it overwhelmed her. She was glad to have Skypaw with her.
Jetclawindy @blankslate Glacierpaw sighed. They were quite the chipper group, and she felt like she couldn't fit in with them. "I'm Glacierpaw," She spoke up, her gaze sweeping between Chickpea, Skypaw, and Pumpkinpaw, "I'm from WinterClan."
indy FALLCLAN Paintedpaw slunk in just behind her sister, having gotten caught up in the vast crowd of cats beginning to swarm the place. She listened dutifully with her ears pricked, settling in next to Pumpkinpaw and sitting close enough so that their fur just barley touched. She hated large crowds, so this was especially hard for her right now. Her voice was whimsically and quiet as she greeted herself with a , "Hello."
Koispirit padded among the throng of cats, watching as the Leaders conversed before turning to look for any other familiar faces. It was hard to really say she knew any, either, since she'd come so recently to call FallClan her actual home. The white and orange molly turned only slightly, before seating herself out of the chaos that was the entire clearing. If she saw anybody to talk to, she would surely go over and introduce herself. But for now, she was content with just sitting.
WINTERCLAN Hiddencrest chuckled, his tail waving in the air above him as he said. "Well, we might soon find out. I'm fairly certain that Cicero is probably here," the gray tomcat confirmed, before he sat down fully. He didn't want to exhaust himself by standing needlessly. They still had to journey back up to the mountain, too. "I'm just curious what will be said. Especially when-" he broke off, not wanting to dive further into his statement as anyone could be listening. He exchanged a knowing glance with Diamondheart, sure she would probably understand he was talking about the refuges who had escaped.
Spot SUMMERCLAN He relaxed a bit, relieved that he wasn't doing too bad. "That's a nice weight off of my shoulders, then," he said with a warmhearted chuckle.

Waterclan @alltheapprentices Rainpaw was older now and more experienced than before, so he felt a lot more comfortable at this moon's gatherinng. His stormy blue eyes drifted across the camp where the other apprentices were chatting among themselves. He gave a bit of a shrug and padded towards them with a friendly smile on his maw. "Hello, I'm Rainpaw from Waterclan." He greeted, whiskers twitching shyly.
Summerclan Birchpaw was probably one of the least shy apprentices in Summerclan, so seeing the large group of them gather made him excited. He bounded up to the others right after Rainpaw and plopped down next to Pumpkinpaw. "And I'm Birchpaw from Summerclan!" He purred his hello to the others.
@asterdeity After keeping watch on the warriors and apprentices for a few moments, Tuskblood made her way towards the other deputies. Her paws pricked with worry as she turned her attention away from the Summerclan cats, but she attempted to ignore it. She had to trust that Starclan would keep them safe on a night of gathering and fellowship with the other clans. Surely they approved of these things? Her eyes lifted to the sky where her ancestors and the clan ancestors rested. She must have faith. Her attention then turned to Diamondheart and she gave the shortest of nods. "You must be the deputy of Winterclan, hm? I can smell cold on your pelt and you look authoritative enough." She started bluntly then continued with one short word, "Tuskblood." The flat-muzzled beast of a cat figured that the molly would recognize that she was making some sort of introduction of her name.
Nightclan Ironpaw sat closer to the back of the Nightclan cats, gazing up at her mother proudly. Some day she wished to be as strong and collected as Burningstar. Until then, she vowed to study the senior warriors and leaders of the groups and learn what it took to be an honorable warrior. Her eyes flicked to Tuskblood. Something about the large black she-cat was hauntingly familiar...
Summerclan Tuskblood's olive gaze watched the leader for a minute before fixing the apprentices with a stern glare. "Now look, chattering chicks, if I hear one word about the sickness come out of your peepers you will be clearing Endlessthunder's den for three moons. Got it?" She questioned gruffly. With those words, she turned around to make her way across the clearing where the deputies sat and flicked each apprentice close to her on the ear with her tail humorously before lumbering off. Although she came off as rough, most of the cats in Summerclan knew she would protect those little brats with her life.
waterclan.
He hated gatherings. After he was made a warrior, he had never wanted to go again, not until he had become deputy had no choice. Chimerahunt could keep his expression stone-cold, could loathe every cat that looked at him, but even after all these moons it still hurt to see new apprentices flinch then they caught sight of the nasty scar that cut out his right eye. Some knew better, some had seen scars like his before, but others openly stared until he was tempted to swat them over the ears for their insolence.
The ginger deputy shifted impatiently as he waited for the gathering to begin. His narrow half glare fell upon another cat as she made her way to join the cluster of deputies -- he had seen her here before, he thought, but he hadn't bothered to learn her name. Chim nodded shortly to her as she joined them.
"Took you long enough," he muttered under his breath, just to break the silence, and was glad to see her turn to talk to someone else so he wouldn't have to continue.

Tuskblood wasn't one to judge scars. I mean, how could she? The deputy resembled something out of a nightmare with the two teeth protruding out from her underbite. Her attention swiveled to the gloom that was Chimerahunt. She met his snarky greeting with a low snort. Oh, she would enjoy talking with this ginger rain cloud. She sat down and curled her feathery tail over her grand paws. "I have no need to rush, brooding one." She responded, narrowing her gaze. "What bee made nest in your nose today?"
ABSUM LUX Hollypaw Pluto had followed in closely to Jezi's side, a loyal shadow. Even now, he stayed beside her, not keen on interacting and curious as to why they were even here. The Heda hadn't told him, but he also hadn't asked. The deathly looking black tom stayed close by, almost like a kit with their mother, or a guard with their charged. He was neither, merely a cat who'd never come to one of these before and no true idea what was expected of him. So, he'd chosen to look fierce. He'd even donned mud as part of a ritual face painting as apart of his appearance. Really, the tom was just lost and trying not to allow it to show. And he succeeded as he merely looked bored and as though he was staring through cats to their very souls, something he'd heard even within his own home.
MOONCLAN Jetclaw Devilhorns had avoided the gatherings for a few moons now, since his switch of clans and raising his newest litter. Now, he was unsure if that had been the right choice. Spotting his once love, Burningstar, the tom hesitated at the edge of the clearing. It took a nudge from his adoptive son and nephew, Grandsky before he'd started moving again. The Lunar Guard Captain, stayed right by his side, understanding what Devilhorns was thinking. How his once clan, the clan he'd been born to looked like it was in shambles. He felt guilty for leaving now, but knew he had too.
EARTHCLAN Cleaver Seablossom walked into the clearing, anxiety incasing her at the sight of all the other cats. She could hear the whispers, the chattering. And he mind thought it was about her. The poor deputy's anxiety had only gotten worse the further from camp she'd gotten, her youngest siblings left behind in the nursery for the other queens to care for. Did they need her? What if something happened while she was one? She was their caregiver, the one left in charge of them now that their father had passed and their other had left them at her paws.
Glancing to her right she spotted Ivorycrown, content and frustrated. The two had argued her just staying behind, but her younger sister would have none of it and had pulled the guilt card. reminding her that she had a clan to help lead, and that included attending the gatherings. Even now the she-cat hesitated to leave her sister's side, eyes darting back to the entrance as well as in search of Crownedglass who'd she'd lost track of in the mess of cats.
Oh good, she had heard. He hadn't expected her to miss what he said -- he wasn't quiet -- but it would've been easier if she ignored him. He really needed to learn to just shut up once and a while. He leveled his half gaze at her and shrugged his shoulders. "Just thought you'd have a little more respect for everyone else's time, s'all. Some of us have better things to do with our time than sit around here waiting for the other clans to waste it."
Tuskblood felt a bit of annoyance bubble in her belly. What a whiny tom. She snorted once more at the thought and shook her head. The large cat's eyes flicked to the moon and she pointed with her tail in it's direction. "Looks like we still have plenty of time." Her eyes flashed with amusement. "I can't imagine a ball of despair like you has much else better to do than glare at strangers anyways. Tell me, what's got you all up in fits?" Her rumbling voice held a hint of mild curiosity as she questioned him once more.
"Nice to meet you Rainpaw." Chickpea purred, dipping his head to the Waterclan apprentice; suddenly much more interested in the mixed group of young cats than he had been a moment ago. Shrewd eyes glanced over towards the leaders, then brushed along the deputies, not lingering long enough for others to feel the caress of his gaze. When he turned back to the apprentices he was all smiles again. "So we have Glacierpaw from winterclan. Rainpaw from waterclan. Pumpkinpaw from fallclan. Duskpaw of sunclan. And our mysterious new friends.." He glanced towards Echopaw, Skypaw, and Paintedpaw, who had offered no introductions upon joining them. But he could piece together Paintedpaw was likely a clanmate of Pumpkinpaw, perhaps even a sibling. And he thought Echopaw and Skypaw were apprentices of Nightclan. A rather elective crew.
"Whatever shall we talk about?" He giggled, as if wondering what they could possibly talk about.
Nightclan @blankslate simplylightMoonboundindy Echopaw felt rather embarrassed for not following through with a proper introduction. Where were her manners? "Oops, sorry. My name is Echopaw and this is my friend, Skypaw. We are Nightclan apprentice's."
SUMMERCLAN Redfur paced behind the deputy, careful not to pass the great warrior. The leaf-bare was hard on his old bones, however it would be his first Gathering as a senior warrior. He padded around the clearing to find a spot far from the other cats, his gleaming yellow eyes sweeping the area. What would be shared at this Gathering? he thought to himself. There were many tensions between all clans, he knew. What would SunClan have to say? With quiet curiosity, he realized they had not arrived. He thought to speak to a few warriors when they had.
earthclan @fear pao The ebony tom had never been so eager to visit a gathering. This was the first he'd been to since he left SummerClan to join EarthClan, and though he was happy in his new home, he did wonder what his clan had been up to while he was gone. He nosed Seablossom, then bounded off the moment he spotted another cat he knew, hoping she'd follow him. "Redfur!" Crownglass called, his golden eyes warm. "How fares the clan?"
waterclan simplylight Chim scowled at Tuskblood, his paw twitching with the urge to cuff her over the ear. He ignored it. "Think what you like," he replied testily, "though you must be one hell of a deputy if you can't think of a single better thing to be doing." The stubborn tom wasn't about to go through listing his duties; even if they weren't a secret and common to most deputies, he wasn't feeling particularly helpful, so let her figure it out on her own if she cared so much. He didn't bother to answer her second question, his disinterested gaze drifting back to observing the gathering.
"You're reckless for questioning my abilities as a deputy." Tuskblood responded with a contemptuous huff. "Look, you thick-skulled tick, there are several other clans that still haven't shown their faces. If your tail is already so tangled about my clan's arrival then you're never going to get it untwisted when the others show up." She prodded him on the side with one big black paw. "You seem pretty whiny." The deputy's tone wasn't entirely unfriendly, but it was clear she was testing the tom. He had to break at some point, right?
For most of his life he had dealt with his incessant clanmates trying to get under his skin, to motivate him, and he had moons upon moons to learn patience. Moons upon moons, and yet he'd barely learned a thing, and the tension in his clenched jaw betrayed the great self-control she was already demanding of him. He wanted to laugh at her pathetic attempts to provoke him, and he would have, if they weren't working. He was always so weak.
"What a sage observation," he ground out. "You do have some skills after all, what a miracle." His cold eye dropped to her paw as she touched him and slowly, deliberately, rose to meet her gaze, giving her a hard look. Daring her to try that again and see if he didn't just tear her paw off right then.
"Testy, testy." She gave a hearty laugh and pointed with her plumy tail to the Winterclan deputy. "You're gloom is probably making our sister here uncomfortable. Lighten up a bit, dark one." Her raspy voice was full of amusement at his obvious discomfort. He would have to man up soon or she would have to give him a good talkin'.
WINTERCLAN Cleaversimplylight Diamondheart laughed as she watched the others deputies bicker. Was this what Hiddencrest meant when he talked about cats in foul moods? "It certainly is a pleasure to meet the other deputies, finally." She chuckled. "Do all other deputies bicker like mated couples?" This certainly was an interesting first gathering! The FallClan leader and SummerClan deputy sure were interesting felines, that's for sure. Not every cat could give Valleystar a run for her money, but these two definitely could.
FALLCLAN Pumpkinpaw nudged her littermate. "Ooooh! This is so exciting! I've never met so many apprentices before~ My clan doesn't really have many."
He snorted dismissively as he cast a sideways glance at Diamondheart, not caring one bit if he was making her uncomfortable. He was used to that. At her comment he stiffened and bared his teeth. "Don't." His voice was quiet and cold, but it shook with anger. His harsh half-gaze burned into her before he let out a hiss and glanced away, settling back into his familiar scowl. Of course his newfound popularity within his clan wasn't enough; of course he had to find the most talkative deputies in all the clans too. Just his luck.
