Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
For all plot info please look here. this is the beginning of phase two. Solaris first addresses the possibility of rebellion, promising harsh punishment for those who stand against him. Cats begin firmly taking sides. Tensions are highest here- the calm before the storm begins, and all cats wonder when the first signs of rebellion will come. This takes place two weeks after part one.
phase one DO: Have your cats firmly take a side (secretly)- Solaris, Arden or Corvus DO: Create other threads, have secret meetings among rebels or bloodliners that plan for their rebellion DO: Accuse other cats of having differing loyalties
DON'T: Incite outright rebellion (yet) DON'T: Have public physical conflict over this issue
DO: Have fun!

It hadn't been long, merely two weeks since Solaris had first claimed the position of Nemesis, and he was beginning to understand how naive he had been. Try as he might, promises and peaceful ascension seemed out of the question. The tensions of his reign had not yet dissolved, and he had been given reports of plotting against him. The reports were murky- some claimed there were no cats against him, some claimed between one and three rebel groups. The trouble seemed inevitable, but Solaris E'tan was willing to give peace one last try, before the storm broke.
He mounted the same boulder he had in his last speech, calling together the cats of the League once more. The electricity in the air seemed more palpable this time, more covert glances between cats as they gathered and more outright glares in his direction. He kept a stony expression, swallowing the frustration that swelled in his stomach.
"I won't beat around the bush." The Nemesis announced in his rumbling timbre, exhaling deeply. "I've heard the rumors too. Maybe some of you are planning on rebelling, maybe some of you aren't. Maybe this is all gossip. But I do want to promise that whoever stands against me will fall, and fall hard. I give you this warning in advance so you can dissolve the groups that you've created. If you take action against me you will be punished, even killed." His long ginger tail lashed, the only external sign of his turmoil within. He didn't want to do this, to issue this ultimatum, but there seemed to be no other options.
"I have nothing more to say on this topic. The position of Nemesis is mine, earned through my merit. If you want to take it from me, you'll have to kill me eight times, and I suggest that you don't try that- it won't end well for you." With a final sweeping glance at the crowd, Solaris E'tan jumped off the boulder, padding over to Savagnin as the crowd buzzed in indistinguishable murmurs.

Throughout Solaris' speech Aconite had remained at its base. White and black striped pelt clean and gleaming in the bright Island light. Upon her promotion she had sworn her loyalties to Solaris without question. She had a firm stance against the line if Vera. The wicked queen had tried to smother Indy's bloodline in her hunger for absolute power. Aconite was determined to prevail. Her icy eyes followed the expressions of the crowd. Seeking out traitors as Solaris descended the boulder. She would protect him. Her had put his faith in her and she was in his debt. She wasn't sure if her bloodline had anything to do with his choosing her but he was glad it wasn't a reason to not choose her.
Daedric rolled his shoulders. While he was crippled to the point that he couldn't take on a whole clan himself he was more worried about his children. As young as they were he was watching them turn the matters of politics around in their little heads. They were picking sides based on their blood and self gain. He sighed heavily as the tension built.
Flame flexed her claws, a wicked grin on her pretty face. "We will see about that" she mumbled under her breath so that no one else could hear her as she watched him depart.
