Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Jezebelle had never thought of herself as a leader, but now that she was... nope, she still didn't think of herself as one. That didn't mean she wasn't going to make some changes to the group. She waited for everyone to gather. She hadn't chosen a General yet, but that would come in time. She watched as her army subjects gathered. How should she phrase this?
"From this day forward, the Charged will no longer be allowed to give up on themselves. The Charged must work at least two to four hours a day at improving themselves, until they are able to pass the trial and rise to Combatants." So that was how she was going start her reign, by changing something fundamental to the group. "Those who wish to raise their young, may. Without needed to worry about taking the trial again, if it's already been taken." she paused for a moment to see everyone's response to those two announcements.
Juno, a Charged who believed her life would remain cursed and forever plagued by her pregnancy, perked up at the words that left the Heda's maw. While others may have looked upon the decision with anger, she felt hope rise within her. She had a chance at a normal life? Even though she would have children... Perhaps there was a future for her afterward. A smile threatened to cross her face, though she held it back.

Rancor, much like Juno, was thrilled at Jezi's words. The former kittypet despised his life as a Charged, but he'd taken the trial three times now, and failed each time, and had thus been sentenced to life as a permanent Charged. As such, the tom had been getting increasingly infuriated and disobedient, causing problems and shirking what duties he had, yet unable to fight back when cats pushed back against his resistance. His sister had made it to Combatant after retaking the trial for a third time, and now he had the opportunity to be there right alongside her. The tom's glare at the new Heda softened into a look of surprise, tentative hope flickering in his usually angry gaze.
Ceres dipped her head to Jezebelle's words, agreeing with what she was saying. Upon seeing Rancor, the antisocial she-cat took it upon herself to approach him, a small smile apparent on her maw. "Excited?" She asked in a whisper.
Siren frowned, so now she had to do even more work. Wasn't raising kits enough for this group? Just great. Truthfully she'd rather not. Her life had been simple, Raise kits that were strong and dismiss the weak. She'd straight up disown the ones that showed no progress. It was even looking like that would happen in this litter, but there was still time for them to prove themselves.
Pluto cocked his head, a little curious as to how this news would be taken. Wait would he be expected to do more training? He'd have to ask. Spotted two of his siblings from his spot in the shadows near where their new leader stood. How were they taking it? He knew Juno would probably like the idea, though he feared for any kits of hers. She'd always scared him, even now.
The new Heda glanced around at the group trying to gauge their reactions. Siren seemed to be the only one, so far, who had shown annoyance at the announcement. Pluto looked like he had a question, though she couldn't think of what it would be. They'd have to talk more after the meeting. "The new General is Roisoideae." Jezi said, temporarily shifting the attention to the she-cat in question. She hadn't warned Roisoideae about her decision. Oops. Not like she'd had the time, anyway, since she'd just made up her mind.
Roisoideae or like her mother liked to call her Rose. Had taken a place beside her mother Kissa to sit at the beginning of the meeting. The daughter and mother's pelts contrasting against one another. Rose's nodded her head in agreement and approval at the announcement Jezebelle had made about the Charged position. The young tortoiseshell had remembered the anxiety she had felt when taking her trial as a young Tyro. When Jezebelle announced her named and the position General. Rose found herself frozen to her spot.
Oh, another surprise. Pluto glanced around in search of their new general. Curious as to how this cat would react to such a position change. Leaning forward and raising slightly into a tiptoe position from his seat, he spotted the poor cat and found them frozen. Well, this would be interesting. At least they weren't boasting about their new role as he knew some would. The High Sage nearly feel over from the way he was sitting, quickly so as to not pull attention to himself, he scrambled back into his seat. Back straight, paws close to his body, and tail around him, the tom blended back into the shadows. He was sure someone saw him nearly fall over like a kit though.
Jezi had most certainly seen Pluto almost fall flat on his face. She had to force back an amused smile at the sight. She could also see the shock on Rose's face, obviously the younger she-cat hadn't expected to be named General. "After taking your trials, those who wish to help raise our young can choose to do so." she paused for a second. "If we don't have any kits, you'll be expected to do Combatant duties."
Elayne's ears perked at that. Did Jezebelle mean that there was going to be another option after taking the trials? The Combatant had never felt comfortable as a combatant, but she hadn't wanted to be a charged.
