Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Pluto wasn't the most optimistic cat. More often than not, he was down right depressing. He talked of death and the afterlife as casual as some did the sky. Which wouldn't be so concerning if he wasn't the High Sage in charge of keeping everyone alive. Many saw him as a freak or outcaste, and most of the time he was. He's a stange cat that Pluto.
Scratching his neck with a forepaw, Balagan-kedi found whatever had tangled in his fur was stubbornly clinging to him and refused to be shaken off. Growling, he pulled on it harder; finally the burr came free with a clump of his golden fur wrapped around it and a few specks of blood.
With a yip of alarm, he scurried over to find the High Sage, looking around wildly. "Help! Help!"
Hearing the call for help, Pluto glanced around for its source. Ah, a young one. What had they done now? It seemed like the older the cat the less likely he was to see them as they passed their injuries off as "not serious enough to see the High Sage about" when in truth they could be losing a limb or have a break. It was if they saw it a sign of weakness to need medical help. Sometimes he wondered about those in the clan.
Cocking his head to the side, sitting and waiting patiently for the distressed kedi to come to him, Pluto tried to figure out whatever could be wrong with the loud creature to send them into such a speal. Nothing looked broken from here, or sticking out the wrong way, so what was it?
There he was! The High Sage! Balagan raced his way, then slowed to a pitiful limp as he got close, looking up at him with pitiful hurt eyes. His paws weren't injured at all, but he didn't seem aware that you didn't need to limp in the presence of this all-powerful healer. He'd seen cats holding up paws around Pluto before, so he assumed that was just the custom, and he didn't want to upset him!
"High Sage! High Sage, I need help. Look at this wound on my neck!" He tilted his head to the side so he could see the spot on his neck. It had already stopped weeping blood, and in truth only a drop or two had been shed at all, his claws having barely scraped the skin while he disentangled the burr. What had really hurt was pulling out his fur, but even that had only been a couple of hairs.
