( To introduce the plot, Foxstar has invaded MoonClan's camp with a group of SunClan warriors, and will demand the clan surrender themselves to her, killing those who choose to speak out and resist. Ultimately, MoonClan will have no choice but to submit to the power of the Red Lionesses Pride, which is made up of SunClan, DayClan, NightClan, and BrookClan, who will then use the territory for themselves. )
Cats flanked her to the left and to the right, moving as a silent mass in the predawn light. The scent of MoonClan swirled around them, stale in places and weaker than usual, twoleg stink coating each and every inch of the land. The creatures' presence could be seen in the footprints in the snow, in the trampled undergrowth and broken branches if the stench wasn't enough. MoonClan had suffered in the past moon, hardly having time to recover from the loss of their leadership and many in their clan before a new threat emerged, this one bearing a fox's heart and a painted face.
She took precautions as far as nearing the camp, not wanting to alert the MoonClan cats too soon to her presence. Once the camp's entrance was in sight, however, the Priestess threw caution into the wind, rising up to her full height and increasing the pace to a lazy trot, her expression sharp and wicked as she stepped inside. The fox furred feline's ivy eyes took in the cats present as they all turned to face her, watching the bristling of pelts, the looks of anger or horror as they realized what was going on.
"I heard MoonClan was in need of a new leader." Foxstar's voice was a venomous purr as she strode forth, almost arrogantly confident, into the center of the clearing, cats pouring into camp behind her. The clan, in it's weakened state, couldn't fight her, and she knew that full well. "So, how about everyone just relaxes and we'll take over, then you'll have nothing to worry about."
The High Priestess was a cat who never seemed to stop moving. In the span of a few moons she'd taken over, and subsequently lost control of, DayClan and SpringClan, cursed a cat to live his life in misery, taken a life each from two different clan leaders, and remade an alliance with NightClan and BrookClan, this time with DayClan added to the mix. Now, she'd set her sights on MoonClan, the only one of the Forest Clans to not have dealt with the Priestess in some way, shape, or form. Today, that all changed, as the Sun God's Chosen stood in the center of the Moon's domain, waiting for someone, anyone, to shake off their shock and formulate a response.

There was tension in the air.
Swiftstorm heard the entrance of SunClan cats coming into the clearing. He quickly exited the warrior's den where he was sleeping. The sun was bright and burning, causing him to blink a few times before seeing Foxstar at the center of the clearing. He looked at the group of cats in horror, fear prickling his fur. The few MoonClan cats that were in the camp began to emerge. Quietstep stood in front of the nursery, shielding her kits and Goldenage.
"I heard MoonClan was in need of a new leader." Foxstar's voice was a venomous purr as she strode forth, almost arrogantly confident, into the center of the clearing, cats pouring into camp behind her.
"So, how about everyone just relaxes and we'll take over, then you'll have nothing to worry about."
Swiftstorm scoffed. "We're a perfectly capable clan. The Twolegs may have... disrupted our way of life, but I'm sure there is no need for you to help us." His voice barbed with strained anger.
He was lying through his teeth for the sake of the clan. If he tried to fight them, it would mean massacre. He waved Grandsky and Elmwhisker to his side.
Grandsky stepped away from the nursery, leaving Quietstep and Devilhorns to guard it in his absence. Taking a stand beside Swiftstorm, the tom rose to his full, massive height. There was a reason he'd been elected the captain of the guard and he'd prove now if needed. The guard was made up of fighters, and he'd fight beside those he called clanmates as long as he could.
Jynxlaughter pushed Spookpaw behind him, trying to keep his child out of the fight as long as possible and if he could the rest of the apprentices as well. A quick glance showed that she'd curled against another apprentice just inside the den. They may be warriors in training but a war was no place for the young to become warriors only to lose their lives early, that was for the old.
SunClan Skipstep stood among the ranks of SunClan, eyes narrowed head high as he surveyed the cats before him looking unimpressed. The Janus turned his head slightly to Foxstar while keeping an eye out for any MoonClan cats who might try anything. He waited to see what would happen. But though he was alert he looked relatively calm. SunClan was more than capable of taking these cats.
Goldenage peered around Quietstep, the heavily pregnant she-cat blinking wide-eyes at the invaders. She slunk further back into the nursery, further into the shadows but still keeping an eye of sight on the happenings. The queen was worried, there would be bloodshed but with the amount of cats Foxstar had brought with her it seemed obvious how the tides would turn. Golden eyes turned to watch Quietstep, the other queen boldly standing in front of the nursery; admiring the unwavering courage. Before she turned her eyes back towards Swiftstorm wondering what he would do when push came to shove.
Elmwhisker padded calmly to Swiftstorm's side, his pale blue gaze meeting Foxstar's steadily. "I assure you Foxstar, we have everything under control. We don't need your help, if that's what you want to call it anyway." he stated.
----- Leopardblaze took a few paces closer to Swiftstorm as well but remained behind, ready to defend his Clan again, his cousin Emberburn at his side and his daughter Pinepaw on his other side.
More cats made their way forward to join the contingent around Swiftstorm. Three were clearly warriors while the fourth was a rather small and puny looking apprentice who despite looking terrified at the presence of so many intruders into their camp stood with the rest of his family.
Timberpaw quickly sidled up to Pinepaw, his sister, the small tom glad to be near his sister who he knew was better at fighting than he'd ever be and father.
"MoonClan is perfectly capable of taking care of ourselves without unwelcome and unnecessary outside Clan interference." A small dark ginger she-cat with striking turquoise colored eyes said boldly. Phoenixblaze and her siblings and cousins who made up most of the small knot of cats standing facing the SunClan cats. While many had fled the clan after the last leader and deputy had disappeared the group had stayed behind due to having too much pride in the clan and no wish to leave it.
---
Three more cats hung back from the larger contingent of MoonClan cats though they were ready to leap into action should anyone make a threatening move not caring in the slightest that they were heavily outnumbered.
/ LURELUSTER female Lureluster was just as loyal to her clan as anyone else was and was prepared to fight for it. Her claws were as piercing as thorns. However, with the masses of SunClan cats surrounded their under-fed group, she kept quiet.
Silvershine stood beside her mate, Leopardblaze and held her tail protectively in front of her daughters Pinepaw and Flamingpaw.
Flamingpaw leaned over to Pinepaw, "This is my chance to shine. This is whay Ive been preparing for." Her turquoise eyes narrowed to slits and her fur along her spine bristled and suddenly, she looked nothing like the sister Pinepaw grew to know.

Moonclan
Part of the newly assembled Lunar Guard, Reedtwist narrowed his eyes as he heard some loud words going on in the midst of the camp. He slunk up to where the others had gathered, around his leader. His nest and meal would have to wait. A hiss came under his breath as his eyes looked upon foxstar, his pelt starting to bristle.
Emptywords slid forward, quiet in his approach; gaze flat to match his expression as he sized up the Sunclan cats. He had experience in loosing battles and he knew this would most likely would be one of those. The key would be to take any little bit of victory that they could, to take this fight and make it worth something more than something driven by the whims of a cat who should have been driven out of power long ago.
( Also, feel free to create a character to be killes by SunClan for trying to resist the takeover. Just make sure to mention if we can kill a character right away. )
The Priestess let out a soft chuckle at the bristling cats and cries of opposition, her gaze meeting each MoonClan cat's in turn, calm certainty meeting barely concealed fury. Shoulders rising in a shrug, Foxstar stepped forward, her tail twitching for SunClan to make their move. "Too bad." She purred, glancing back at her clanmates. "Kill anyone who doesn't surrender."
MoonClan was already weak, snd truly, she wouldn't mind destroying them altogether. The Sun God might not appreciate tipping the balance of things so far, however.
At Foxstar's order, Skipstep launched forwards, immediately going and aiming to sweep the paws out from Grandsky. The cat had carried himself with authority, well aside from Swiftstorm, who Skipstep would leave to Foxstar. He aimed to unbalance the cat before he could react, moving in a sweep, digging his claw into the dirt picking up a pawful of dirt that he flung towards some of the other cats.
MoonClan was already weak, they had no chance. But Skipstep wanted to avoid having to kill, so he aimed to force them on the back foot as much as possible.
You may kill Lureluster. I am going to be making new MoonClan cats! ] Lureluster unsheathed her claws and went for the nearest SunClan cat, which happened to the leader of this whole quarrel. She felt her claws pierce into fur and she opened her eyes in surprise.. because she had them closed when she launched. She stepped back, her entire body shaking as she had realize she had scraped Foxstar.

Swiftstorm had never felt this much fear for the well being of his clan.
He hesitated as cats began to launch themselves in different directions. In a heartbeat he thought of a plan. "MoonClan, defend, but do not initiate any more attacks!" he called out as he saw Lureluster go for Foxstar.
He shouted to Flamingpaw as he raced by, "Help your siblings!" He tried to get to Lureluster in time.
Quietstep's eyes widened in horror as the fight began. She shoved Goldenage and her peeping kits inside, grabbing Snowkit by the scruff and tossing her into her nest. "Asphodel, Foxstar is here and a fight has begun..." She paused in fear. "Get ready to defend your kits." She glanced at the multitudes of kits she had produced, worrying about each precious life.
Sightline growled in response, testing any SunClan cat's bravery. She was willing to die for her clan.
SunClan Skipstep was unfazed by Pinepaw’s leap, the Janus stepping back and then slamming a paw down on Pinepaw when the apprentice landed at his paws. “I recommend you reconsider young one,” He meowed sternly holding him down. He didn’t dig in his claws but he looked at Pinepaw. “You are outmatched, you will only get hurt. Please refrain from making me have to,” He said, stepping off Pinepaw to go after another MoonClan cat, his point made.
MOONCLAN Goldenage stumbled back into the nursery and let out a sharp gasp as she felt a pain in her side. She wondered if she had simply stepped funny but the tightness in her belly and funny feeling told her otherwise. Panicked golden eyes glanced around the nursery as she realized her kits had chosen the worst time to be born. Knowing she couldn't bother the others, not in such a dire situation, she slipped to the furthest corner of the nursery and laid down. Hoping to bear the contractions in silence, hoping to escape any notice.
Emptywords scarred face snarled as his lips peeled back, the large thick furred tom coming from Skipstep's side. Having used the toms distraction with the apprentice as an opportunity to circle around to a blind spot. A large paw swiped out to rake his claws along the others flank, keeping his distance and trying to stay aware of the other numbers around him. Not wanting to be trapped in knowing that it would be easy for the Sunclan cats to pair two of their own to every one of Moonclans.
Flamingpaw nodded to Swiftstorm as he sped by then turned to see Pinepaw try to attack Skipstep and was shocked that the Sunclan warrior didnt attempt to harm her sister. Flamingpaw jumped to Pinepaw's side "Are you okay?" Her turquoise eyes were widened in concern.
