Eero-kun lifted his muzzle to the sky, letting the raindrops drip down his body as if they could wash away the soreness in his limbs. He had taken extra time to train on his own earlier in the day but didn't end up stopping when his body requested it. He always managed to push himself too hard. And for what? A bit of recognition or pride? The reason couldn't be pinpointed so he had just given up and decided the reason was that it was just in his character type. After a few more moments of peace and pleasure from the cool rain, he padded underneath a broken bit of rubble and shook out his thick black coat, not realizing another cat was nearby.
