Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Leland Starkfield had not missed the tunnels during his time away from the Regime. The crumbles of dirt that dropped on his face and back as his expert dark vision helped him navigate the tunnels. Were just part of a long list of reasons he didn’t feel comfortable down there. He felt like a mouse hiding away from all of the problems of the world. Any excuse to get him out of the tunnels was a good enough excuse for the Mercenary Superior. In his time lurking amongst the Sunclan members that were taking refuge in the Regime’s tunnels. He noticed how many of them looked miserable. He found the closest Sunclan cat and approached them. Hoping they would give him a reason to escape the tunnels.

The feline lifted her head upon the approaching footsteps. Her ears angled towards the tom,"Hey." She greeted, though seemed to feel obviously rather uncomfortable there. However, thankful. She was not going to complain to cats whom had given them shelter in their darkest and most lonesome time in the forest out there. At least they were fed and had shelter, and they could recover. Her eyes scanned the tom in the darkness. Though the regime cats were used to the tunnels and what came with them, Oceaneyes struggled to see and not bump into walls quite often. It was much different for the feline.

“Hello. Your from Sunclan correct? How is your clan doing?” The Mercenary Superior asked, feeling slightly awkward that he was speaking to the Sunclan Warrior who in Renegade Regime terms would be a whole rank below him. He could sense the she-cat felt uncomfortable. He wondered if it was due to the difference in places they originated from, difference in rank or if it was simply due to the fact that the tunnel could be a dark dreary place that didn’t raise anyone’s spirits.

"Yes." She answered lightly, her eyes staring towards him in the darkness. "I hope it's not a bother but... I was wondering if you might take me to the surface. I.. I really need some fresh air." She mewed, doing her best not to sound ungrateful. Oceaneyes was thankful for all that had been done for SunClan, but the feline truly needed to see the sky again, to feel the wind in her fur. Things she couldn't do while they were residing in the tunnels underground.

“We can head up there now. I suggest we don’t come back empty pawed and find some food for both the Regime and Sunclan.” Leland suggested and struggled to not sigh a breath of relief. The idea of seeing the sky again, feeling the wind even if it was in the Regime’s frozen tundra of a wasteland. It completely beat having dirt rain down on his head every morning when he woke up. “Follow me.” He commanded as he brushed past the Sunclan Warrior and headed down the tunnel towards one of the few exits that led above ground.

Her shoulders relaxed slightly as well. Oceaneyes felt her own relief wash over her, and the thought of going back and seeing the skies above made her heart even flutter some. It had been nice to have a full stomach and able to rest, but now she needed to stretch her legs. As Leland brushed past her and she felt his fur brush against his, she blinked for a moment and remained still. Her brows furrowed, and then the feline turned and made her way behind the tom. "Very well, lead the way."
