Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Aspenflicker spent more time than not staring absently off into the distance. She had shown up in SwiftClan barely there, a refugee who was dying. Some met her with suspicion, perhaps rightfully so, but the clan was slowly learning that she was no threat. She made herself as small as possible, a phantom at the edge of the camp that no one had thus far dared to approach...
“You’ll never catch me now, Tiny Turtle!” Mothpaw yowled, twisting her head around to look for her pursuer over her shoulder. She raced full speed around the perimeter of the camp, her paws more confident than they ought to be given she wasn’t looking where she was going. As she squeezed past the water-carved denfront of the warrior’s den she hurtled around the next corner and slammed straight into Aspenflicker.
Her body shuffled to the side as she fought to keep her balance, an annoyed hiss exiting her chest. "Hey," she grunted, "watch yourself, kid." Her words were just as vacant as her eyes, said with no pomp nor circumstance. "Were you born in a barn? Knowing this place, you probably were," she grumbled, looking more disheveled than anything.
Mothpaw fell back on her rump. Her only response to Aspenflicker's hiss was a blink.
"I was not!" Her fur bristled and she jerked her chin up indignantly. "Momma gave birth in the clan!! I'm a REAL warrior, unlike YOU, I was here FIRST." She was pretty sure, anyway. Mothpaw didn't know the warriors very well, there were soooo many of them.

"Youre not a warrior yet, Mothpaw," chuffed Blacksky, watching the interaction from her nest. The warrior was having a lazy morning, her dark pelt obstructing any of her features other than her slitted eyes, looking over the other two cats, "And while you were here first, you should respect your elders, what if its just you and Aspenflicker out there and you get into trouble?" she chided, her tail tip flicking.
Mothpaw's ears flattened, angry and embarrassed that Blacksky was there to hear her bluff. "I'm basically a warrior," she sulked, switching her tail slowly over the ground. She had been training for several moons already! She could hold her own in any fight. "If it was just us out there, I'd protect her even if she is mean," she assured.
