Things had been going smooth for a while now but Regulus didn't trust that the time would last forever...and boy was he right. The day had started off normal for The Nemesis as he did his usual rounds around The League doing his typical duties. It wasn't long before the start of the troubles reared it's ugly head. As the large black and grey tom walked past the Hunters Lounge he spotted Saden and Orion laying about lazily. He narrowed his eyes tail swishing as he walked up to the pair. "And mind I ask why you are lying around when there is work to be done? I know you haven't started your duties as your free time is later in the day. Got any good excuse you wish to try with me?"
The blue tom's eyes were glazed over as if he was looking towards something that wasn't there before shifting his gaze over towards The Nemesis. "Oh yeah...right. I went to grab Orion who was supposed to work with me on a hunt but wasn't at our meeting point. I found her like this muttering nonsense. I can't seem to snap her out of it and it's got me concerned. She isn't the type to just not show up for her patrols and I am concerned about this."
Regulus looking sharply at the bengal she cat upon closer inspection he noticed she was lightly shivering and her gibberish mutters were indeed there just barely audible. "Right, Saden take Orion to the Shaman's Quarters and see what Charlotte and Reynardine can do to help her out." Saden nodded as he slowly got Orion to her paws having the mush bigger cat lean against him making their way towards the quarters. He wasn't sure what was going on with the she cat but he was confident his healers would help her out. In the back of his mind though worry started to sprout but he tried to shake it off. Illness was typical around this time of the season so he never truly worried about the sick. His healers were amazing at their jobs...However the nagging feeling was still there. He was struggling to shake it off.

Confidence in his healers: that was funny. If Regulus had half a brain, if any of these cats had half a brain, they wouldn't have confidence in the Shaman. She'd spent most of her last few days tucked in her quarters, experimenting on three kittens that she'd found. After another session of failed attempts to cure them, she had taken to pacing around the stores. Every few steps, she stumbled into something, but in her defense, she was playing it cool. She'd sent the kittens away and was the only one in the room at that moment, so it didn't matter if she stumbled, there was no one to see it. The Shaman let out a long sigh, before pausing her pacing, glancing towards one of the mansion's windows.. What she needed was a distraction, a different puzzle to work on.
And a distraction she was going to get, as the two cats padded in. "Who's there?"
