Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

Slaughterfish sat on a rock in the meager sunlight of leaffall. She would one day be added back to Swift's joining thread when Honey got around to it, but for today everyone would just have to pretend she was there. Most of her family was gone. Rustyheart, Cerberusspirit... Thunderstorm. Not that she was the closest with any of them in particular lately. But it was still a strange feeling for them to all suddenly have gone, just like that. It seemed empty with the majority of the Swiftriver originals gone.
Straybullet hesitated as he passed by the she-cat whose name he didn't know because he was a newcomer and also because she wasn't on the joining thread yet. "You SwiftClanners like staring into the distance sadly for long periods of time, don't you?" he muttered, almost to himself. "What's up with you? Something happen?"

"Mmm." Slaughterfish hummed, blinking as she turned her head to the tom. "Nothing more than happens to every family at some point or other, I suppose. No one is immortal."
"I am," Straybullet replied. "No, I'm not. I don't even know why I said that. Let me make it up to you by being a good Clanmate and being a shoulder to lean on. Metaphorically, I mean. I have bony shoulders that no one should lean on."

Felt like she was getting whiplash with all of Straybullet's back and forth, and for a moment, she simply blinked at him in silence. "I guess we're all technically immortal until proven otherwise." Slaughterfish mused, pawing at her ear. "Most of my aunts and uncles died recently. Guess they weren't immortal."
