Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Charlotte stared blankly forward, clearly thinking through something quite deeply. If a stranger was to walk upon her, her mouth slightly ajar, laying down, they might presume the Shaman was dead. Quite the contrary, really. Her thinking face was just ... a little ... peculiar. Her time in Primal Instinct had been fruitful medically, albeit a stressful experience as she tried to do something with basically nothing. But, she'd strayed far from her original course. She had made no further advancements in mental healthcare, which was becoming more and more important. After all, she could start to feel the call of the void, the same void that had suffocated all who had come before her. She needed to kick her research into high gear before she was too far gone, but how was she to do that?

The eerie, vacant expression on Charlotte's face was wasted on the proxy as Athalia approached her groupmate. Though the blind cat couldn't see in the traditional sense, it was obvious even to her that something was seriously bothering the Shaman. Even though they weren't exactly close it was becoming more and more obvious to the proxy that a lot of her job actually involved, and relied on the other staff members in PI. Like a well oiled machine they needed to work in tandem with each other to ensure their groups survival, which for Athalia unfortunately meant reaching out and talking to others, especially when they seemed as put off as Charlotte was.
"Is everything okay?" she asked gingerly, as she neared the other she-cat.

Her own mostly blind gaze turned towards the Proxy, a soft huff escaping her mouth. "You startled me," she meowed, voice completely devoid of any emotion. Her ear flicked before she spoke again. Is everything okay ? It was a benign question, but there was a part of Charlotte that simply wanted to laugh sardonically in response. Was anything every okay in this city? She didn't say that, though, instead opting for a neutral, "I suppose so." It provided approximately no context, she realized, and then she shrugged. "I was just thinking about my research is all." She assumed that the she-cat understood the research she was referring to, if only vaguely. The sole reason the League-born former loner had retained her position was her research, after all. Surely Regulus had to have told them that she was a scientist? Her tail flicked. "The work I was doing before I returned. It's been a while since I've had a chance to continue it."
