Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Once there was a tale of a young girl following a white rabbit with a waistcoat through a maze until she found herself falling down a rabbit hole into another, wackier world. While this may not be a tale the cats of Classic would know of by any means, the white she-cat who had wandered through SpringClan's territory in search of herbs would soon find herself the protagonist of such a tale. One moment, she had her head bent and nose pressed against a flower to relish in the beauty of her homeland, the next, her gaze was caught by a bizarre sight. Later on she would understand it was merely a mirage due to the light through through the trees and the heat of the summer, but in the moment, her curiosity was piqued, and for a moment, she felt like a kitten again.
And in the next moment? She was falling.
The she-cat huffed and sat up with a grunt, shaking her head to loosen the dirt clumps stuck in her pretty pelt. Standing, she looked around in confusion, fear trying to take hold of her heart but her rational mind fighting it off. If it had been a normal hole, she would have worried on how to get out; as it was, she saw it didn't just end, but traveled on under the ground. The next thing she knew, she was following the path, eyes adjusting to the dark and taking in her surroundings.
Huffing when she suddenly bumped into something that refused to budge, she blinked and wiggled her nose – it smarted pretty good – and looked at the obstacle. Problem was, it wasn't a rock in the way of her path or a wall, but a cat.
"Um. Excuse me?" She smiled a bit, a feeling growing in her she didn't yet have a name for: the thrill for adventure. If she had asked her mother beforehand, she would realize it was more than likely in her genes. Her mother was a fierce adventurer before she settled down with Zengarden in SpringClan. Of course, she and her mother never got along that well, which left her gazing up at the obstacle with a curious expression.

The long-furred black tom froze at the small voice behind him and he froze. What brazen cat had just run straight into him like they couldn't see him there? It was weird for a regime cat so he turned his whole body slowly to look upon the speaker. It was a small she-cat who had clearly been roughed up a bit while getting here. She was also clearly not from the Regime and he eyes had not adjusted well to the tunnels. How was that possible this far into the tunnel, practically right outside his nest?
"You look like you've had quite the journey, follow me." He figured this was best done as a stealth mission so as to not get her ripped to shreds. Valerian Kimura was a rather gentle cat with a passion for healing, growing, and handling but no drive for fighting or allowing violence to happen. He led her into his den. The back wall was made of stone and had rough natural shelves where he had carefully stored his dried herbs. In front there was a small garden with his most used herbs separated with rocks and allowing a passage to get to the shelves. The walls were mostly packed dirt but the floor was covered with moss, feathers, and various other trinkets.
Sakurapaw wasn't sure what to make of this tom, let alone the fact that without explaining who he was or where she was, she had been led further into... whatever this place was without receiving any answers. Anxiety nibbled at her stomach lining and she bit her lip, hoping she hadn't just fallen into some sort of trap and was going to be tortured for information or whatever else the warriors back home used to whisper about. As it was, she was still confused why there was a tom in these tunnels; let alone, as she soon discovered walking through the place, an entire group of cats living underground.
She stopped once he'd led her inside the den and turned to look at him, evidently wary and pressing herself against whatever inanimate surface she could, refusing to let her back to him. "Who are you? Where am I? Why is there a hole in my home leading to this place? Are you all planning to attack us?"
Despite the brave face she tried to put on, she swallowed in nervousness.

It wasn't terribly uncommon for unaware travelers to accidentally end up in the tunnels, but he couldn't help but wonder if she was a clan cat based on her scent and reaction. She seemed pretty settled for a loner and just suspicious enough to be a clan cat. "You are currently standing in the tunnels of Renegade Regime. My name is Valerian. I'm not going to hurt you, I left fighting up to others long ago. You seem pretty weak. I'll make you a traveling mix of herbs before you leave. Sit and rest. I would not recommend being in these tunnels by yourself unless you want to be taken prisoner." He set to work separating leaves and checking for any herbs that were no longer helpful. "Would you like something for your nerves?" Her anxiety was almost tangible.
