Regulus looked at the patrol infront of him with Charlotte in the lead. He was confident they'll bring back some sort of information...best hope for a new place to live in. He was slightly worried though as they were letting their shaman go leaving them with just their mage. Not that the mage couldn't handle it but if something big happened they would have to deal. They were Primal Instinct, they would make it work. Charlotte would be taking Acacia Blair, Freya, Pandora, and Darion-kun with her on this expectation. The Nemesis knew they would do well in helping to protect the Shaman but truthfully Charlotte could handle their own.
"Remember I want you guys to find what Charlotte is looking for. I ask you help her out and follow whatever she tell you to do...within reason. We will be here waiting for your return. Bring me back good news. With that good luck everyone." He nodded to Charlotte allowing her to speak up if she wanted.
(Here we go guys! We are heading out to the mansion ^-^ @ian will lead with Jadie, @dot lavellan and myself on the patrol. I don't know about you guys but I am totally excited about this. Lets have a blast!)

Charlotte squinted at the group in front of her. It was quite the combination of cats, and she wasn't exactly sure how this was going to turn out. She had wanted Bermondsey to create the patrol, knowing her uncle wouldn't give her any cats she couldn't handle. But, the mostly blind Shaman had learned that it, in fact, was one of the proxies that organized it. She let out a sigh after peering at them for a long moment, her golden tail flicking.
"As Regulus stated, this is my patrol. I have the final say on any decision to be made. If you cannot follow orders, stay home." She seemed to be in a cheery mood that afternoon. "The mission we embark upon will last approximately two days. If things go haywire at any point during our trip, your primary objective is to protect me at all costs." If any of these cats let Charlotte die, the Shaman was quite convinced that they would be next upon their arrival back at the League. "That being said, this should be a relatively easy mission. We will be returning to the Mansion and the Garden of Tatlia in order to secure herbs. While there, I have been instructed to gather information about the viability of the territory." She said nothing else on the matter. If the cats paid any attention to the current situation, they would know why they needed to gather the information.
She then nodded to the bundles of herbs that were placed in front of each of the cats. "If there are no questions, eat the traveling herbs and then we will begin."
Acacia had done a lot of traveling in her life but never had she been prepared traveling herbs. She looked at them with a mixture of curiosity and revulsion - she'd never liked to eat plants and couldn't' think of a single cat who did - but Charlotte had already made it pretty clear that there was no room for negotiation in this patrol and Acacia would honor it. Gulping, she took hold of the entire poultice in one bite, chewed it just a couple times then swallowed, a queasy expression on her face.
"OK, I'm ready... but, do you think we need to bring some more... protection? I've heard the mansion is extremely haunted, so..." She said, not looking Charlotte in the eyes as she rambled on, "... Holy water or something, maybe..."
Having only rather recently been brought into the League, Darion-kun had no knowledge of the old Mansion or whatever the Garden of Tatlia was. Still, the mission seemed straightforward enough, so the pure white tom had no words of complaint as he followed Acacia's lead. The herbs went down easy enough, the emotionless expression on Darion-kun's face revealing nothing about his personal opinion of the flavor. His expression almost immediately changed, however, when Acacia spoke, and he turned a curious face to her.
Haunted? A raised brow and a tilt of his head clearly told anyone who saw him that he had never heard of such rumors. Though, he had only just learned of the Mansion's existence a few moments ago, so it was no surprise.

Pandora ate the herbs without hesitation taking in the flavors without haste. Even thought they were slightly bitter to her she didn't mind, and knew how important they were for the travel. While on the one hand she was confident that they would come back with more than just herbs there was that fear that something would befall the group. The she cat was worried that an attack would occur while she was away and couldn't do anything to stop it. However she would have to trust the others could handle any problems on their own without their help. After all what they were doing was so crucial for the League's survival. Pandora was ready to do everything and anything to keep her group safe.

"I don't believe in such foolishness, and I recommend that you follow my lead," she meowed bluntly. "We don't have time to waste with superstition. Until you can find scientific evidence that holy water works, or that ghosts exist , it doesn't and they don't." She was pleasant, wasn't she? If ghosts existed, that meant there was paranormal, which meant that maybe, just maybe, her family was cursed, and there was no way to fix them. That simply wouldn't do.
She then ate her own small pile, before glancing over her shoulder. Reynardine was grossly unprepared for a solo mission, but Charlotte could only hope that the League would wait a few days before trying to shred each other. If they didn't, well, she supposed it wasn't her problem.
With a nod, the Shaman stood and started walking towards the southern part of the city. "Let's go."
"Um, okay," Acacia Blair knew better than to argue with Charlotte, especially not over a topic that was so polarizing. The League did not have a formal religion and in fact most cats she knew considered themselves atheist. But... Acacia knew that the Shaman was wrong and her very existence itself was proof of them, seeing as her father, Vulcan, was literally a ghost.
She hesitated for just a second them followed after Charlotte, her tail wavering slightly.
It was almost disappointing, hearing Charlotte write off the rumors of ghosts so easily and quickly. That certainly would have made this trip interesting. Darion-kun couldn't quite hide the disappointment in his expression, however, as he trudged along behind Charlotte and Acacia. There would be plenty of time for fun things to happen during this trip, he wouldn't let Charlotte's sour personality put a damper on his own mood.
Looking at the backs of the she-cats in front of him, and glancing back at Pandora, Darion-kun couldn't help but feel a little out of place on this mission. He was still rather new to the League, and his interactions with others were rather limited. Plus, he was only a trainee, but he could assume that he was here for the experience, or maybe this was another test to prove his worth. Probably both.

The she cat noticed the trainee's hesitation walking closer to him. "I think you'll do fine kid so don't be so worried. You got us cats to fight with you and the shaman to heal you. I think you can handle yourself just fine, plus if you need my help I am here for you." The light calico cat gave Darion-kun a small wink hoping this would help cheer him up. "We all got to start somewhere...even if Adrian tells you otherwise. I've actually seen you train. You aren't bad kid. I think you have a great talent there." Pandora was ready to move on and followed the shaman on their next destination.
