Trish waddled around in an unhappy mood. Part of it was just feeling so big due to being so heavily pregnant with younglings which made her uncomfortable and slightly annoyed in general. Of course the other part was from having dealt with one of the most stupid tom's she had ever met. Adrian the dumb hunter thought it would be funny to poke at the spy. "Look I mean it's no lie Trish, you look like you are about to pop at any minute. Glad to see you are eating well enough. Are you sure you're really pregnant or did you just find a good way to get some extra prey in? Being fat would help out." If she weren't so heavily pregnant she would have tore the stupid brat to shreds. Instead all she had been able to do was saw at him and hit him right upside the head. He then back away and left rather quickly. The only smart thing he had done all day.
Now however she was in a terrible mood. The spy sat down feeling the irritation swarm her like angry bees with nothing to do in order to get rid of the feeling. Or the ability to satisfy herself by chasing down that mouse brained fool. What a terrible position to be in.
"What a beautiful position to be in!" A honeyed voice sounded out across the way, soon followed by the charcoal form of Carlissa. Her yellow eyes were wide with awe as she approached the expecting spy and she halted a few steps away and flicked an ear as though requesting permission to come closer. While she could feel the disgruntled emotions flooding from Trish, the she-cat felt that perhaps another perspective could help even it out. "I hear that having younglings of your own is a blessing, quite a blessing in fact. Congratulations must be in order?"
Get close, but not too close to get swiped at if you say the wrong thing, she'd told herself. But who really cared if she came out with a few scratches? The point was to make the other she-cat feel less uncomfortable, it wasn't about Carlissa. Throwing caution to the wind, she closed the remaining distance between them in a few short seconds and sat down directly next to Trish. She didn't look at her, only out at what was before them.
"I hear there's a good stretch that'd help relieve any pressure you're feeling," she meowed. "Want a massage or something? You must be awfully sore having to carry around nearly two or three times the body weight. Don't get me wrong, you look amazing. The truth is though that you must be feeling some sort of strain! And if you need support, or to get rid of the invisible thorns in your pelt, I'm happy to help."

Trish was not expecting this right after dealing with Adrian, but indeed it was a pleasant surprise. "Oh uh thank you for the congratulations. And having younglings is a blessing, even the ones that aren't your own biologically. Why I reside in the nursery as a permanent spy for the orphaned..." The spy was even more surprised when the other she cat offered to help with the aches and pains she was feeling. She went to say no but hesitated for a moment before speaking again. "Actually I may take you up on your offer...normally I would just deal with it but I seem to just get heavier and heavier each day haha." The spy looked to the other hunter curiously. "I don't think I have formally introduced myself to you have I? I'm Trish and I think I heard someone call you Carlissa before?"
"Hi, Trish." Carlissa turned to the side and exchanged a warm blink with the pregnant spy. "Yes, I'm Carlissa. Instead of following the life of a rogue, the League seemed to be the place to be and now I'm here. That's about all you need to know about me. I'll warn you ahead of time I tend to speak my mind, which ruffles pelts here and there, but you'll always know where you stand with me." Happy that Trish had accepted her offer, she patted the earth with a paw. "Lay on your side, and I'll push my paws in around your shoulder blades and down your back. It helps to relieve some of the pressure and soften you up a bit," she explained. "Do you sleep enough? I can't tell if your under-eyes are dark because of lack of sleep or grumpiness after that last exchange." She was, of course, referring to Adrian.

The spy was surprised with all the questions thrown her way but didn't seemed bothered by them. More than likely due to the fact the other she cat had offered her a message and seemed to have be super friendly which wasn't the most common thing within the League. It was refreshing and Trish would claw out the eyes of any cat that dared mess with Carlissa at this point. "That sounds good to me and again thank you for doing this. I sleep enough for a spy that cares for all the younglings, my own one day and the orphaned ones. No...that other cat is just notorious for being a...how do I want to put it? Pain in my a- butt. Pain in my rump. He does it to everyone and unfortunately I just didn't have the patience for him. Probably due to the fact I am getting closer to having younglings soon it's put me on edge. The shaman says it's normal so I try not to over think things. Hah. But you know," she turned to look at Carlissa, "It's nice having someone like you around. If only there were more cats like you around The League."
"If there were more cats like me around the League, it probably wouldn't be as feared. Having an odd cat out every few years is probably a good thing, keeps it balanced," Carlissa purred, moving forward and digging her toes into the spy's shoulder. She nudged the muscles with an expert ease and began to work her paws over the tensed sinews and fur, moving down the pregnant she-cat's spine. "It is normal, the shaman's not wrong. Your body is working hard to grow new lives and it takes a lot of work and energy."
She readjusted her haunches slightly so she wouldn't grow sore and continued to apply steady pressure to Trish's muscles. "How's that?" She asked, wanting to make sure everything was comfortable. "Who's the father of your younglings, if I may ask? He should be here waiting on you paw to tail too!"

Trish felt the tension and some of the soreness leave in various spots in her shoulder as well as her back. The spy was lightly smiling from the release of tension when she brought her focus back to Carlissa. Made sense, if everyone was nice then it wouldn't be as special...also like the other she cat said they would probably be walked all over on with others thinking they were soft. Too nice. Yeah right, not ever with Primal Instinct.
Trish gave a thoughtful look as Carlissa asked her question, "That is a good question. See before I came here I lived amongst the various rouges and loners that venture and survive the city. There were a few toms I flirted with but only one that I was close to in particular. He is definitely the father however was not ready for fatherhood. Naturally when he learned he left, but it truly doesn't bother me. As cruel as it sounds Regulus was interested in me because I was so tough despite being pregnant. He figured I would make a great parament spy in that manner...took him up on his deal. My younglings will be safe, I care for most of the new generations that come in from being an orphan, and I have a relatively safe place to live in myself. Couldn't ask for more and it is as safe as anything is out here." The spy felt more and more at ease as she talked, enjoying her time with this rare one of a kind she cat that was helping her out.
