Everything felt a little bland to Valerian these days. He had even recently been promoted to Guider Superior and was surprised of how much extra work he had to do. Social work especially. The tom cat had not expected to have to do so many social things. He had never received much respect as a guider and that was fine with him as long as they did not mess with his work or his garden, now he received far more respect. He shook his head just thinking about it. Unbelievable, truly. Valerian had honestly been surprised with the promotion, thinking that Commander Shule would not have allowed it all things considered. He was supposed to have become a scout instead of remaining a guider but the tom cat had been resistant to the end. He was here to garden and heal. Now he was to teach as well.
"Ugh it's making me feel old." He whined aloud, pushing a little too hard on the stem in front of him but realized what he was doing before accidentally crushing it. "Get your head in the game, Val." He murmured to himself, "Oh well, time to go make some bees angry." He stepped out of his den and looked around for the nearest cat in sight,
"Hey, I need you to go make some bees mad with me." Didn't matter who it was as long as they listened to him and no one would get strung. Probably.

POSTEDJul 17, 2021 8:45:15 GMT -5 TO renegade regime
"And why, baby doll, would I do that?" came the voice of the Regime's favorite white cat. Gossamer Alessandra Eerie was a celebrity of her own right, and cats (with personality) loved her and cats (without personality, Shule) hated her. There was no in between, especially now that she had slighted the Regime not just once, but twice . She couldn't help that two commanders fell for her games. She couldn't help it that her dearest Mother-in-Law fell for her games - especially when Shule had been the one so butt hurt when Rajin had lost the Commandership to Goss in a bet. Shule had done the same thing: assumed that she'd win a bet. No one ever won a bet against Gossamer; she was a gambler, and a damn good one. That was proven by the fact the former Commander was Sentinel now.
"Sounds like a mighty had idea, if you ask me. But hey, what do I know? I'm no doctor," she meowed with a. purr of amusement, her eyes trained on the tom. She'd never interacted with the new Guider Superior before- she hadn't ever really talked to just about anyone in the Regime outside of her daughter and mate since her return. This would be interesting.

He fixed his pale green eyes on her but did not bother to hesitate or elaborate. "I don't really care why you do it. Makes you feel good, vendetta, duty, boredom, helping out a poor, defenseless guider, I don't care. I just know better than to do it myself and you were convenient." He wasn't really sure if he made a good case, but that wasn't important. He truly had no interest in her motives but she was free to tell him or speak as she wished.
"If we don't get going soon we're going to get stung more. There's a perfect window in the evening where we can see and they won't really bother us." Valerian waited for her response before moving. It would be weird for her to refuse his request but it wasn't like he would go tattling to her superior over it either.
