Soma (or is this Sundara?) bounced around like a rabbit, but they were supposed to be a mole rat actually. Big bulging eyes stared at the funky room of wherever they were in the tunnels, god how would I know? Anyway, they look around and they finally look over to the other naked mole rat. "What if I was actually a rat?" they asked, "and I just don't know it, and maybe me while life is just a fever dream?"
Sundara, or Soma?, watched their sibling with a faintly affectionate look at they bounded around. "Maybe you are a rat," they said, "or just a cat in a hat. Or maybe you're up to bat, but at least you're not a gnat." Quite pleased with themself, they sat back, watching their mole rat littermate roam. "What do you want to do today, roam around or stay?"
"Don't you think a cat named Sam would be a rarity in this dismal world?" Soma? asked, blinking coolly. "Does there remain even one Sam in this world forsaken by both man and the gods? Can you think of even one?"

Sundara? blinked owlishly at Soma? before cackling into an evil laugh. "You're boring me, can't you see? You need some creativity!" Sundara then immediately poured themselves a cup of coffee, or whatever this brown juice is......
"What does one do when they're bored?" Soma? asked, also sipping the brown bean juice. "How does one fill their futile time on this planet with enough distractions to hide the fact that one day they will die like every other creature?"

Sundara? or Soma? cackled. "What if we can climb to the top? Let's ride a big cloud and perhaps, do you think we'll meet god? Will we beat him in a fist fight?"
