Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Hey everyone! RR needs more posts to pass the QCA and we really need everyone's help. So even if you see a lot of people replying to this every single contribution counts. We only have till the end of June so a reply from you would really mean everything to the Regime staff and thank-you so much to anyone who replies, I hope you enjoy the rp! The premise is that the RR mercenaries are patrolling their borders when they notice some MoonClan cats stealing prey. of course the MoonClan cats had no idea that anyone was living underneath DayClan when they were taking prey, they all thought it was a victimless crime.)

Renegade Regime mercenaries were patrolling underground... UNDERGROUND. Who the heck were they guarding the Regime from? An underground wasp nest at worse, but if they found one of those that was someone else's problem.
Harlow wasn't Regime born, she had been caught stealing prey from the Regime and paid the price with her life. Well with her life being dedicated to the Regime. There wasn't much choice, it was be a member or be forced to work to the bone without any benefit. But patrolling the tunnels was better than her usual daily work, which was mining into tough terrain. Her fluffy form stopped short, her tail lifting signalling to the patrol she was with to wait. There were noises up ahead, but no one was supposed to be around those tunnels... No one from the Regime at least.
"Let's move slowly, but if we see movement we'll strike," Harlow said lowly to the mercenaries before stalking up to the noises ahead. (Cue MoonClan and RR cats)

Noceur had gotten little sleep, but what else was new? As such, he was on the more... violent end of things at the moment, and turned to Harlow with a sort of maniacal grin. "How about we just attack and tear em apart instead?" He suggested instantly, though his voice was quiet enough to not quite alert anyone to their presence quite yet.
Ravenstar had just been granted his leadership, and hadn't even gotten his nine lives yet. He was yet to be a year old as well, so the 'leader' possessed the mannerisms of an older apprentice from the cockiness in his step to the glint in his eyes despite his rather large size. So, when his patrol chased a family of rabbits down into the tunnels... he followed and made his entire patrol follow as well. Soon enough a rabbit fell dead at his paws, and then he shifted his attention to the other cats in the patrol. "Tell me we got something other than just my catch."

Alese Soulaine shook his head. "We wait till Harlow suggests its best to go-" that was when he noticed Ravenstar. The tom's eyes narrowed and dilated but he kept quiet. He was on the alert now with every fiber of his being buzzing alive with adrenaline. When they were given the sign the team would pounce to which he would prove himself to everyone.
"Let's just go get em.." Noceur was getting impatient, and with his flexing claws, it was pretty obvious that if Harlow didn't give the signal in the next minute or two, the insane former Sentinel would probably just go without permission. "They're not supposed to be here anyway, so it's their own fault." He scooted slowly away from the patrol, heading towards Ravenstar. He couldn't wait to get his claws into someone...
Harlow's only experience was with Regime cats and only hearing about DayClan warriors so the idea that this could be a leader never even struck her. She shrugged, "I certainly wouldn't want this tom here to damper our ferocious reputation so I think we simply must teach him a lesson, there just aren't any other options," She shrugged, her transatlantic voice was entirely dismissive of any morals, which especially showed in her care free smile towards Noceur, "Ladies first, of course."
Leading the charge she leapt onto Ravenstar's back, giving little time for the patrol that had been with him to react. her claws unsheathed as she gripped into his flanks.
Noceur was quick to race after the she-cat with a manic laugh, launching himself with reckless abandon at the first MoonClan cat he saw, his insane grin stretching wide across his face.
"What are you--- Harlow, Noceur, no, don't---" Sapphira's focus had been on what the MoonClan cats were doing, not her own patrol. Border skirmishes were common and no big deal, but she knew that they were literally within MoonClan land, which was a gray area that a smart Regime cat knew to avoid. Yes, they patrolled all underground tunnels... and no one else needed to know that.
It didn't matter what she thought, though. The damage had already been done and if she tried to break up the fight now it would be perceived as insubordination. Sapphira's only way to resolve this situation was to join in and end it quickly with as little bloodshed as possible. Sighing, she propelled herself forward and aimed a warning blow - claws sheathed - at the nearest MoonClan Warrior and matter-of-factly said, "Get out of here if you don't want to get hurt!"
MOONCLAN
Twilightveil wasn't much of a hunter, mainly because he lacked a prey drive. For one, a cat that isn't hungry is unmotivated and, two, he wasn't sure he particularly liked any of his new clanmates enough to do them the favor of filling their fresh-kill pile. He didn't sabotage anyone else but he certainly hadn't caught anything.
"Nice catch, Ravenstar," He said half-heartedly, his blue eyes starring blankly ahead, he was bored. That is until he noticed some motion out of the corner of his eye and tensed as Regime cats poured out of the narrow tunnel. Without any hesitation he growled and threw himself at Noceur, claws unsheathed and ready to do real damage. Honeystorm

Noceur didn't have any problem in meeting Twilightveil head on, the ex-Sentinel happy to tear into the cat with reckless abandon. There was no real rhyme or reason, no particular method to the madness, only a crazed cat full of bloodlust ready to kill. The claws in his skin only make him giggle with delight and the thrill of a fight. There was nothing better to the Vellicorpse than to throw himself into a battle.

Alese launched himself at an older looking tom who had just almost threw himself at one of his comrades. There was no way the mercenary was going to let that happen. The cinnamon and white tabby tom bit down hard onto this older warrior but found that this guy was actually much more challenging than he thought he would be.
Sagespirit was old sure but he was definitely not inexperienced by any means. The old Moonclan shadowhunter hissed seeing these cats pour themselves out and attack their patrol. Angrier even that one cat even dared to lay claws on their leader! He had went to stop another cat from attacking when he foolishly got blindsided himself. The bite was painful as this feral tom's fans dug into his rump but something the younger cat didn't know was that Sagespirit was good at what he did. Like a bucking bronco he flung Alese off of his butt. In his older age was only slightly slower....he would have to be careful. Before the other cat could get to his paws Sagespirit turned the table and went for the other's shoulder.

Twilightveil was a younger tom and unpracticed in the art of fighting. His attacks were slow and predictable, his form was wide open and sloppy... but... when he did manage to land a hit, boy, did he ever! This gray-and-white tom sure had a lot of strength in blows using his front paws and, upon further inspection (assuming Noceur even cared enough to look), one would find the wiry tom surprisingly well-muscled.
"This is MoonClan territory," He said in an even tone, arctic blue eyes reflecting Noceur's form right back at him, "You should leave." Honeystorm

Alese and Sagespirit were still locked in deep battle with Sagespirit only slightly in the lead which was likely due to his age. With more time there was more practice which was being proven as they went at it. However Alese was so much younger...so much more agile in his moves that it made things about equal as far as talent went. It was going to be hard to tell who would come out on top ultimately.
Did Noceur care to look? No. The former Sentinel honestly didn't even seem quite... right in the mind. His mismatched eyes were wide and feral, and he attacked with a frenzied sort of glee, laughing whenever claws met his own skin, as though the pain were more thrilling than anything else. There was no reasoning with him. Bar one of his groupmates dragging him away, or otherwise being restrained, he would win or die, most likely.
Ravenstar's eye filled with rage when he smelled this patrol. This was his territory, it didn't matter that it just so happened to be underground. His tail lashed from side to side as his stance widened to brace for the incoming attackers. "Get out of our land. You scoundrels have no place here anyway." He quickly realized who unprepared he was to fight in the tunnels as Harlow leaped onto his back. He rolled over to try to dislodge her from his back.
"Uh uh, your territory is the surface, clan cat," Harlow said with a matter fact ring of pride bordering on delight. Her paw swiping lovingly around the cusp of his face before jerking his chin to stare into her eyes for a moment. Her blue eyes glimmered before releasing the leader entirely, springing off from him, her saccharine transatlantic voice sang out to the MoonClan leader like a haunted melody, "Read the room, clan cat, you're outmatched," She smiled to herself before peering back at the leader, "and even if you had a big ol' mean army up there you're not prepared now, kitten. So provide us with some courtesy and skedaddle with those hounds of yours because we're cold as iron and twice as strong," She warned with the same rhythmic tone, but something dangerous glimmered in her angel blue eyes, a primal, almost monstrous look, an unnatural evil inside of her.

Sagespirit noticed his leader was in danger deciding to act quick. The older tom turned and slashed across Alese's face feeling impact somewhere as a spitting growl erupted from the Renegade Regime mercenary. With Alese distracted Sagespirit rushed over to where Ravenstar was hoping to have the leader's back. "Leave him alone unless you want to tangle with me," spat the tom angrily.
Meanwhile blood was pouring into Alese's face as he tried to get the blood out of his eyes. He couldn't tell if he was blinded yet or not but he knew he had to gain his vision back quickly...this situation was dangerous to be blind. He shook his head hoping that would help him.
This guy was nuts. Noceur moved well but barely even flinched when Twilightveil hit him, it was almost like he was enjoying it, which only made the gray-and-white tom feel more on edge. So, Twilightveil decided to change up his method of attack from offense to defense, dodging Noceur's blows with relative ease now that he wasn't trying to inflict any damage himself. Perhaps taking the fun out of it for the older tom would make him slip up... Honeystorm
Slip up? None of Noceur's moves were particularly sensible, and the longer the fight went on, the more deranged he seemed. It wasn't that Twilightveil couldn't get any blows in, he got plenty. More so that the ex-Sentinel seemed more fighting machine than sentient being. He was swinging wildly, much like a rogue would, but he was, in fact, and experienced fighter, and seemed to be used to fighting dirty. Every miss and Noceur just pressed forward more, every time he was hit with claws, and that only seemed to replenish his bloodlust. At some point, he would either have to win or collapse... but for the moment at least, he was still running on adrenaline, and his injuries weren't yet visibly bothering him. In fact, for better or worse, he didn't seem to notice how injured he might be getting at all...
Twilightveil's breathing began to get slightly erratic, not because of overexertion but because Noceur's careless yet relentless fighting style brought the gray-and-white tom back to when SunClan's dead rose and attached their clanmates. It had been the last battle he'd been involved with before his underground imprisonment and he'd never forget it.
He went to swipe at Noceur but, distracted, misjudged the blow and left his throat wipe open. Twilightveil realized his mistake immediately but it was too late to back out now, so he let out a growl, lowered his head, and went straight fo the other tom's eyes.
