Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Typically, a walk through the alleyways and night wasn't what one would describe as 'relaxing', but with how on edge everyone seemed to be lately, perhaps it was better than staying back at camp with everyone else. The moon was bright in the night sky as Aegis slipped through the city, her small frame making the task of being quiet rather easy. She had been through these alleyways plenty of times before, so often that she could probably travel through them with her eyes shut, but she kept them open as she quickly made her way.
Maybe her journey wasn't quite relaxing, but the place where she stopped was. A small garden lay in front of her, with the perfect, unblocked view of the moon above. It was hardly anything special, but she had discovered it on accident a while ago. It had seemed like a nice enough place to relax, and so she visited it occasionally.

The grey and white she cat walked quietly and cautiously along the night her green eyes shining. Sure Trish was pregnant but that didn't she couldn't do normal things like going out and about on a walk or go scavenging for herself. She was as much of a hunter as was a spy! So here she was walking along the moonlight enjoying the peace and calm it brought her. However Trish felt herself become exhausted, though she did not wish to admit it, deciding to find a place to relax. Lo and behold there seemed something ahead. On closer inspection it looked to be a nice garden...and found she was not alone. Scenting the air the spy found that this other feline contained the scent of a League cat. Cautiously Trish walked up meowing, "Hey would you mind if I catch my breath here for a moment? I won't stay long and be a bother to you." Her belly was pronounced making her feel like a plump pumpkin.
The voice, at first, had alerted Aegis, and she tore her gaze from the moon to the cat it belonged to, a hiss at the back of her throat. The sound died there, however, as the form of the heavily pregnant she-cat registered. Of course, the one time that the calico had let her guard down, someone had decided to approach. It never seemed to fail. With a very small shake of her head, Aegis shifted her weight slightly, settling down to sit. "You don't need my permission for that," she replied, her tail lightly tapping the ground beside her in invitation. Her yellow gaze swept across the park, making sure that there was nothing that would be dangerous to Trish, before meeting the other she-cat's once more. "You don't seem like you were just out for a casual walk."

"Thank you." The she cat dipped her head as she carefully took a seat giving a small sigh of relief at the moment she felt her muscles relax a bit. Turning back to Aegis Trish pondered a moment, "True. I felt rather cooped up being being in the nesting area for so long looking after all the kits in there. Not that I am ungrateful or don't appreciate my role in there but sometimes it's nice to just be able to get out and stretch a bit. I know I am rather big at the moment but sometimes I feel that it's forgotten that I am also a hunter on top of being the permanent spy. I dislike not being able to do things like hunt and such which we need... I needed this walk to remind me what I am and am not capable of. Well at least for now anyway. But enough of my own grumblings." The fluffy tail of her swished as she changed the topic. "What about yourself? Seems you too wanted to go for more than just a simple walk to be all the way out here."
While Aegis didn't really know what sort of answer she had expected, Trish's ramblings definitely wasn't it. It wasn't all that often that Aegis found someone actually willing to talk too much or open up, so the answer had come as a surprise. Honestly, it felt like she had learned a little too much from a single question, and now her own response felt like it would be lackluster. "Have you been in camp lately?" she replied, giving a quick, twisted grimace, "It's a little too hectic for my tastes, so I came out here to get a breather for a bit before doing something more useful."
Once more, the she-cat lifted her gaze to the moon, closing her eyes for just a moment. "It's quiet out here, and has a rather nice view. Wouldn't you agree?"

Trish nodded," You aren't wrong...things in camp have been pretty hectic lately for sure." The moon above the cats was so beautiful in this little small slice of heaven they found in the garden. "It is...it's so peaceful out here. I'm glad we found this spot and that I escaped camp to find it." She uttered these words in a quiet murmur now wanting to totally destroy the tranquility of the environed around them. If only camp was more like this but perhaps one day it would...who knew when but maybe someday soon. For now though she would appreciate this moment for as long as she could. "If I may add it's nice having your company around too. Probably the longest I have gotten to actually hanging out with someone other than the younglings."
At first, Aegis hadn't intended on replying as Trish agreed on the beauty of the scenery. However, she was taken back when the other she-cat continued speaking. She let out a small chuckle, glancing at Trish out of the corner of her eye. "Y'know, I don't think I remember the last time someone called my company nice. Usually they're too busy looking down on me." She paused, motioning slightly with her tail at her small frame. Letting out a small breath, she felt herself relax slightly more. "I do have to say the same though - about your company, not the younglings. And..." This time, when she paused, she offered Trish a smile, "if you ever need to sneak out again, this is a nice place to go."

"I think I would like that," the spy purred with delight at the thought of having a new friend. "As far as anyone else goes they are mouse brained if they can't see how pleasant you are to hang out with. They have their heads so far up their...butts they can't see a good thing that's in front of them. Cat's like that aren't worth knowing anyway, sooner throw you to a pack of wolves then save you from them." Trish had seen and known many cats like that...which didn't typically fair well for them in the end.
