Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Brackenfur grinned when he friend nudged him and took off in a sprint. Feeling young again, he took off after Stonefang, skimming the leaves on the forest floor. He pushed forward, racing alongside his clanmate, though Stonefang was slightly ahead. He could feel the breeze pressing his whiskers to his face and his muscles burned. It felt good to stretch his legs.

A black tom was sneaking to the bridge carrying a squirrel in his mouth. He had poached it on EarthClan territory and was hoping to make his escape before he was seen by any of those silly clan cats.
As Stonefang topped a small rise, he saw the black cat crossing the bridge carrying something. He immediately knew the cat wasn't EarthClan. "HEY YOU!" he yowled. "STOP!" Then turning to Brackenhawk he informed his of what he saw. "There's an intruder stealing prey! Let's catch him!" Stonefang took off running toward the black tom who was now running as well.
Brackenhawk's fur stood up and he picked up his pace, racing neck to neck with his clanmate in pursuit. "Hey! Stop!" He called out to the black tom which was clearly just pointless because he knew the tom wouldn't really stop just because he said so.

The black tom headed straight for the rogue lands to the west. He was fast and always kept ahead of his pursuers. He led the clan cats on a zigzagging and twisting route through an unexplored forest. "We gotta catch him," Stonefang huffed as he ran. He was rapidly tiring. As he took note of his surroundings, he realized he was in very unfamiliar territory.

The desire to press on warred inside Stonefang but he did stop as Brackenhawk suggested. "You're right," he said as he was catching his breath. "I haven't ran that fast and that far in ... well I can't remember." He looked toward where he had last seen the rogue cat running. "It just galls me to know we let a poacher get away."
Brackenhawk slowed next to Stonefang. "I know, it bothers me too" he growled, staring after the rogue. "He just had too much of a head start. We will just have to remark the border this time much stronger." He looked back toward the border but he couldn't see it. How far had they run? "Do you even know where we are?" He asked Stonefang, beginning to panic as rain began to fall, first in drips then it began to pour. If Stonefang didn't know where they were, their scents would be lost in the rain.

Stonefang sensed the alarm coming from Brackenhawk and turned to look for the direction they had come. "I... I don't know," he admitted as realization was beginning to dawn on him. He had been so intent on chasing down the rogue that he had forgotten the first basic rule taught to all apprentices, 'Always know your surroundings'. He too knew that the rain would wash away and trace of their scent. What A mouse-brain I am! he thought. "Um ... I think home is this way," he said, but not really sure of himself. He started to walk not knowing he was leading them both farther from their territory.
Brackenhawk followed, "I hope you are right." Brackenhawk, too, was scolding himself for making such a simple, yet such an important mistake. He really hoped Stonefang knew where they were going. After some time, Brackenhawk paused. "I don't remember any of this" he mewed, looking around. The rain had stopped and a foggy mist clouded most of their view. However, from what he could see, they seemed to be in a dead forest. As if a fire had come through and scorched the entire forest. He hadn't remembered coming through here and surely he would have remembered a place like this. A crow cried in a dead tree nearby and sent chills down his spine. He didn't like this place at all.

"I don't either," Stonefang meowed, dread filling his belly. He looked up at the cawing crow and then around at the burned out forest. "And I don't remember hearing about a fire recently." The fire that burned though here must have been last Lastfall or maybe early Leafbare. There was no signs of any recovery of life. There will be this Newleaf. In fact he saw signs of some grass trying to come up through the ash. Not wanting to state the obvious that they were lost, Stonefang meowed, "I don't know about you but I'm getting hungry. We won't find anything living in this charred woods except for that crow." The black bird cawed again as if he knew the gray tabby was talking about him. "Let's go back to the meadow we crossed over there."

Stonefang's ears pricked as he heard the noise too. His eyes scanned the area and he drew in some air to try to smell whatever or whoever made the noise. But that was no use! All he could smell was the burnt forest. "What is it?" he asked, wrinkling his nose.
"I don't kn-" before he could say anything, a dirty old net came down on them, a moment later, they were surrounded by large bulky two-legs. Brackenhawk let out a shriek of surprise. The net lifted and before they had a chance to react, they were tossed into a metal cage. In instinct, Brackhawk began clawing desperately at the cage, hoping to break them free.

Stonefang was shocked when the net came over him. He struggled and fought but to no avail. He did manage to claw one of the twolegs who threw them into the metal cage. "Want more?" he hissed in defiance.
(Want more? XD im sorry, but that was kind of funny! I could totally imagine that!)
Brackenhawk stopped scratching when they closed big metal doors and suddenly they started moving. "I think we are inside a monster" he meowed to Stonefang, absently, eyes widened in fear.

(Thanks! Sorry I haven't rped for awhile. It's been hard for me lately to find the time to get on.)
Everything happened so fast. One moment they were standing in the burned out forest talking about finding some food and the next they were caught by twolegs and thrown in this monster. "Could this day get any worse?" Stonefang hissed. "We have to find away out of here." He paced in the small cage which was barely large enough for two cats. He was afraid but he wasn't going to let his fear rule his emotions.
As Stonefang began to pace, Brackenhawk sat and thought. They werent going to be able to get out of here. Not yet. "We will have to come up with an escape plan wherever we are going."

Stonefang stopped his pacing and faced his clanmate. "You're right," he meowed. Then he looked down at his paws. "I'm sorry. This is all my fault. If I hadn't insisted on chasing that rogue all that way, we'd still be safe in our own territory."
Brackenhawk looked at his friend with sympathy. "This is not your fault. You were protecting your clan. You did the honorable thing. We both made a mistake of not keeping track of where we were running. I don't blame you for this. We will get home." He rested his tail over Stonefang's shoulders.

"Thanks," Stonefang meowed. He was lifted by his friend's comfort. "You're right. We're here now and that's what we should dwell on, not the past." He looked around but he couldn't see any plausible way out of their predicament. "We got to figure a way out of here."
