Southpaw purred warmly as she laid in the warm rays of the sun. Her white coat reflected much of heat, but it still felt nice as opposed to the cool sandstone in the dens. Her long fur was fluttered outwards, delicate lines traced onto her fur with paint the way Divinehope had showed her. It was rare to catch the bubbly young she-cat so calm, but there was something about sun basking that was able to tame even her. She was waiting on her new mentor, excited to see what all she would be learning. peachesnpanda

(I apologize for the late response)
Dappledheart had been busy sitting in her nest getting ready to teach her new apprentice. Even though it wasn't necessary for the warrior to groom her tortishell coat, she needed some time to think about what she could teach Southpaw today. Just thinking about the teaching portion made her paws prickle in anxiety. What if she wasn't a good mentor? Or what if she made a fool of herself in front of her apprentice? These questions were only a few that rolled around in her skull. If only she could stop overthinking and just do.
After a second thorough grooming, Dappledheart was ready to go out and face this new responsibility. Once out, she sought out her apprentice, which wasn't too hard to spot with the white and yellow. "Hello Southpaw. Ready to go?"

Southpaw blinked sleepily, before realizing who it was that was speaking. Then she jumped to her paws, positively beaming with joy "OF MOST DEFFINITLY!!!" she gushed, super excited to get things going "What are we doing first? Painting our pelts? Filing our nails? Or are you going to show me how to make a sun catcher?" the eager young she-cat rearing to go and full of energy
